This place is wonderful! Crepes can be made gluten feee, and you have options to fill with meats, veggies, and sweets! I had the chipotle chicken, and crepe was just so light and delicious, and the filling with chicken and salad was so fresh! Also tried the chicken basil, equally delicious. Food comes out pretty quick considering they make it fresh in front of you. Plenty of room to sit inside and eat for groups of 4, and some tables outside. I am always impressed with Hazelnuts Creperie and this location is no different. The food is always delicious and cooked to order. They have indoor and outdoor seating but seating can be limited depending on time of day and what day you decide to visit. When I come to Hazelnuts Creperie, I usually order the Curry Chicken Crepe which is one of my favorites but I don't think that you can go wrong with any of the many choices they have available. This location is clean and the customer service is great. So why did I give them 4 stars? The 4 stars is because their health code rating is currently at 95 and I typically do not eat at restaurants that low but Hazelnuts hasn't disappointed me yet so I will continue to visit this location but they need to get their health grade up. read more

Tucked in the center of the Blakeney shopping center is Hazelnuts Creperie. It took us a few to find it but we were not disappointed once we did. We both got the Smore a la mode crepe, however my husband not being a big fan of Nutella, he had them do a honey drizzle inside and he said it was perfect. I felt mine was a little heavy on the graham cracker crumble but it's just a personal preference. They have breakfast crepes and savory crepes in addition to a kids menu with crepes. The surrounding areas of this place is really pretty. There's a fountain not too far outside to sit at and just enjoy the scenery. Outside of this place, there's outdoor seating if you choose. The inside is very clean and they make the crepes right there in front of you. My family and I had everything from sweet to savory crepes and we finished all of them. My kids loved it. Customer service was nice and fast. We found this place on Yelp while visiting Charlotte to find a breakfast spot to eat at. Great little creperie! My wife and I ate here for the first time on a Saturday morning at 8:30 after reading the excellent Yelp reviews and will definitely return. We split the Chevre & Mozz breakfast crepe for $8.75 (loaded with Egg, Mozzarella, Bacon, Mushrooms, Red Onion, Kalamata Olives & Goat Cheese) and the Berry Delight sweet crepe for $8.50 (Strawberries, Goat Cheese & Crushed Walnuts Drizzled With Honey, Topped With Powdered Sugar). This salty and sweet combo was a perfect breakfast mix and the goat cheese on both was a highlight for us. (For those goat cheese haters/skeptics... just give it a try, I dare you!) Unlike other small creperies, this one has six creperie stones which ensured a quick delivery of our order. The crepes themselves are superb and the eclectic mic of ingredients are fresh nicely distributed. We were skeptical about the coffee but it also turned out to be quite good at $2.65 a cup. Seating is a little tight but it's available inside and out. Atmosphere is simple but clean and attractive. The young crew that was working were focused on their job and were friendly. Sanitation score was a 98 and, being sticklers on the topic, we were pleased to witness them all to be very conscientious hand washers and glove wearers and off their cell phones (don't laugh, that last one has become very nasty, yet overlooked, problem.) Although I rarely do this after only one visit, I can't find any reason not to give it 5 stars. I'm not quite ready to call it one of my Gotta Tries, but I'm close. Went on a Saturday for breakfast and have nothing bad to say about my experience! The service was quick. They have tons of options to choose from breakfast crepes served all day. Sweet crepes, savory, kids items and gluten free options. I went for the maple dream breakfast crepe and it was delicious perfect blend of sweet and savory highly recommend. Fun to watch them making the crepes. No frills type of place they serve it to you on paper plates. It was ready in about 5 mins. I think my crepe with the orange juice I got was about $10 in total. I will say the seating indoor was smaller and more limited than I thought. However, they do have a little bit of outdoor seating too and as long as it isn't packed in there you are fine. read more

So we just moved here and I saw that there was this crepes place near our house and I was super excited. My weirdo husband was like "crepes? meh" but since he is nice we went anyway. He was so happy with the product that we have already been back multiple times. He is in love with the curry chicken crepe and so far my favorite is the basil pesto chicken. Love this place! I went there first with my sister and again with my best friend because I love it so much. My favorite savory crepe is the Chicken Bacon Ranch and my favorite sweet crepe is the Creme de la Crepe because it is not too sweet and has strawberries and chocolate in it. If anyone else is indecisive like me, I would recommend getting one savory crepe as your "main meal" and then sharing a sweet crepe with a friend or family member. We come here often and we are a group of 16. We enjoyed the crepes before but lately they barely add IF any Nutella. Also, they stop serving/making coffee ahead of their closing shift, specially the lattes. Our last time, we let the manager know our crepes were poor in Nutella and she claimed it was the right ratio but it wasn't.
