I wasn't planning to leave a review, but after my experience, I feel like I have to warn others. This cleaners completely ruined multiple dress shirts by shrinking them to the point they're unwearable. When I brought it up, the owner refused to take responsibility and insisted they did nothing wrong, which was incredibly frustrating. It didn't stop there--the alterations were just as bad. I paid $50 in advance to have a shirt adjusted, and the sleeves were cut far too short, permanently ruining it. I had to push just to get my money back. Good place. Came here to get a lot cleaned and they did a fine job. They overcharged me a few times I noticed as well as didn't have a couple thinks ready, and had to redo a sowing. Parking isn't bad either. It was $6 and took two days. Didn't think it would take longer than a day or be more than that. read more

I would give this place just one star, but to be fair, I have had a few other fairly decent interactions with them before the incident (described below) from the other day. I took a pair of pants in to have a broken zipper replaced. I explained that I needed the pants to be ready for a Business Conference by the weekend, which was five days away. The seamstress promised to have the zipper replaced by that Friday. When I returned on Friday, they charged me $15.00, and gave me back the pants. When I got home and went to try them on, I found that the same exact broken zipper (with the broken tooth in same spot) was still on the pants! I returned to the Cleaners when I got back in town after the Conference - I had not been able to wear the pants with the broken zipper at the Conference - and inquired as to why they charged me, yet didn't do the work that I requested and paid for. The seamstress answered that she didn't have another zipper to replace the old one with, and so she had 'tried' to fix the broken zipper. This does not make any sense at all. Either get the supplies you need to do a job, or do not accept the job in the first place. And if you agree to do something, do not return the item in the same broken condition as when it was dropped off - especially after charging for it! If I had known that she wouldn't do what she promised to, with enough notice I could have taken then pants somewhere else. They did end up doing the job, but by then it was too late, and it was so bizarre to have been charged to take the pants back with the same broken zipper in the first place. This was really a head scratcher, as well as a deal breaker for me. I will use another tailor next time. read more

My wife and I , we been coming for at least 3 years and every time it's the Great service it's that we appreciate and we continue loyal to this cleaners , prices are good for any garment and it's hard to find a place where they won't ruin or Shrink any garments , Roza the Manager it's always pleasant and you can see she know very well her clients , she never ask for a phone number or make you wait in line when busy , she is very fast and makes it easy for us when we pass by with our kids rushing on our way to school and work and I can see how hard they work and always with a friendly attitude , from the alterations person , to the people who press the garments. We have use Encino areas in the past and even Tarzana cleaners , I feel like this place really cares for you items. 3 stars for alterations because the tailor did a fine job, but didn't meet their promise on when it would be ready. Went here for alterations and they took longer than expected. I told them I needed my dress by Friday night for a Saturday wedding, and the nice lady said I can pick up Friday at 5. I went at 5:30, and she said it's not ready yet so come back when they close. I didn't want them to rush so I said I will pick up Saturday morning. She said "yes come in any time Saturday, it will be ready." I call Saturday at 10am to double check it's ready and she said no, and that the tailor gets in at 11 and it will be done by 12. I was really disappointed because I had to be out the door by 11 at the latest to be on my way to the wedding. So I waited until 12, called, and she said she called me an hour ago for me to pick up. I didn't receive any calls or messages and I was next to my phone all morning. I won't be coming here again for alterations as I've experienced more timely and honest service at different places. read more

After reading some of the reviews I decided to give Hazeltine Cleaners a try. Unfortunately after seeing their work up close and personal I will NOT give them my business again. A big part of dry cleaning is "pressing" the clothes, right? Well I guess Hazeltine Cleaners does not feel that way because my clothes came back more wrinkled than they were when I gave them to them.
