What I would of liked was an explanation to me that the screens were going to be bent because of the way they are before they actually did the work. I wouldn't have agreed to the work if I had known the trims were going to come out the way they did. Also I let them know that my condo was on the 2nd floor. Why did they not bring any ladders? They were maneuvering and trying to get these screens in place all from the inside and long sticks outside. Lastly, no mention that I needed a water spout. Lucky for me I had one in my garage, but condo communities don't have that. They did offer to fix the issue within 2-3 weeks which I can be thankful for, but I didn't like the way the business was handled from the beginning and my condo was being sold.

Not only were they incapable of removing the shower handle back plate in our bathroom shower, a feat which I easily accomplished using an allen wrench, they incorrectly diagnosed the leak as an issue with our bathroom toilet. As a result of their misdiagnosis and their inability to locate the leak, we have been left with thousands of dollars in damage. One would have hoped that following their first four unsuccessful attempts, the owner would have personally inspected our issue. But our preference was the legalization of the existing structure. After engineering and County plan approval, we went to bid and chose John Christopher Construction as bid and project managed by Chris Manos. This project had several difficult nuances. The Foundation needed to be retrofitted without demolishing the structure. Unique is the Fotile in-counter dishwasher that makes functional space use of the corner countertop. Throughout Chris maintained communication and came through with solutions that brought our circa 1949 JADU into 2023 legal status with a fresh and updated style. Chris and his team saw the project through to milestone goal completion. Our JADU is permitted by the County, has a certificate of occupancy, and looks great!
