Such a relaxing and great experience! I did a one hour float in the oasis tank and had a great meditation inside. Earplugs and a packet of petroleum jelly (for cuts) were provided. Updated review- first experience was good not phenomenal but this massage was phenomenal. Stryder was fantastic. Listened to my issues, focused on hitting my problems but still covered my full body. This wellness center is thoughtfully designed and has excellent vibes. The little details make all the difference, and Healing One does a great job with details. For example, the stairwell has a plant and a lovely crystal cluster. In the infra-red sauna room, there is a fan in case the heat gets too intense. Herbal tea is available downstairs, and upstairs, there are oracle cards one can use. They also have a chi machine, which is very relaxing. I love the sensory deprivation tanks - that's what drew me in. I like to make an afternoon of it, and will keep coming back. I saw a discount for educators during teacher appreciation week and thought I would get my float on at Healing One. I booked online and also spoke to staff via email and on the phone. I was sent several emails and texts prior to my appointment with tips and what to expect that included a video which I think is helpful for first timers. This was my 3rd floating experience, but my first at Healing One. I chose the Serenity Room because it was similar to the room that I have used before. I left the light on in the tank for most of the time. Then I turned off the light and propped open the door with the water bottle because the air was getting a bit stuffy for me. I didn't make it the full 60 minutes- my mind and body did relax and I felt a sense of tranquility. I did see that they offer 30 minute floats. I think that will be the session that I get when I return. read more

They have a double occupant float tank for couples. It's one of my husband's favorite things to do. Their serenity room. They also have awesome tea blends while you relax afterwards or beforehand which is also for sale. Definitely recommended! They sell a loose tea straw too! Had to get it!! read more

I finally decided, after six years of pain to get a professional massage, and Ryder at Healing One knocked it out of the park!!! In August of 2020, I had the one injury no athlete wants to happen: I tore my ACL (yeah, I did it bowling, but that's not important). Since then, I've gone through periods where I'm okay, the pain is minor, to times where I literally can not walk. As my employer doesn't provide medical insurance, surgery is out of the question for the time being. However, after a one hour float in the Serenity room, Ryder welcomed me and we had a conversation about my issues, and some things I was interested in, one of them being cupping (we all have seen the Olympic athletes with the circle marks on them, that's what it's from) From the start, Ryder helped me ease in to the whole thing, doing something I can't remember the name of, but it re trains muscles to doing what they're supposed to do, as well as instructing me on ways to help my issues at home and when I'm competing. Ninety minutes went by in a flash, next thing I know I'm leaving, but for the first time in six years, I'm walking without a limp and I'm pain free in time to go back out and compete this season! read more

Had been going there for a very long time, quite often but had the worst experience with the manager, Chaz, today. I would give 0 stars or negative if possible. My friend tried to cancel an appointment. He was told he would not get refunded so he said he would still come in. They refused to let him come in for his scheduled appointment and refused to refund him. Upon continued conversation the manager told my friend that he could never come back to Healing One and I COULDNT EITHER. Completely unprofessional and aggressive behavior, especially toward a female. read more

Find your inner peace at Healing One. This is my second time here and my soul is extremely relaxed and happy. This is a wonderful place to "float" your mind away and unwind. Deprivation tank is a must try. The last time I went here was two years ago and I got a room where the tank had a closed door but this time I was able to choose where it was more open with curtains because for some reason I am slight claustrophobic. They play a calming music when you enter your room and that's when you strip down and rinse yourself before you get in and when your time is done they also play a calming music. Do not use conditioner when you rinse, conditioner is only meant for AFTER your float. You rinse completely off and then you can go upstairs where it's filled with mantra vibes and drinks. I highly recommend this place for you, whether you're stressed, body is achy, board, etc. allow your mind, body, and soul to escape reality. read more

I wasn't sure I would enjoy a sensory deprivation float, to be honest it sounded like torture for my overactive mind, but it is fantastic! I find I am relaxed that often I fall asleep as my aches and pains melt away into the salty water. (Bonus, my hair loves it!) In addition to the floats, Healing One also offers other services such as massage, oxygen therapy, and energy healing. I haven't tried everything they have to offer, but I would be doing a great disservice to this establishment if I didn't mention my amazing massage therapist, Ryder. I've only had a few massages so far, but have been impressed by Ryder's knowledge and intuition when it comes to working on my sore muscles. Healing One is a very calming and tranquil place in Reno. I enjoy all the options they offer from float tanks, sauna, massage, oxygen and there are even more offerings I haven't experienced yet. I recommend Healing One to any of my friends and family interested in trying the float tanks. Which is essentially a giant Epsom salt bath with extra salt, jampacked with magnesium. Which is great for sore muscles any aches and pains, or just to spend an hour of meditation suspended in salt water. read more

I received a gift certificate for a float. It was amazing! The facility was very clean and calming. The employees explained everything completely. They were all so nice and knowledgeable. I had done this once before, many years ago. It was nice but I don't remember much about it. I've been having some back issues, and I felt much better for a couple of days after the float. My skin felt so soft afterward. The only thing that I didn't care for was the incense small. It irritates my sinuses and gives me a sinus headache. Otherwise, I highly recommend this business. I had a massage and tried the infrared sauna a couple months back when they were still at the old location. The therapist was pretty great and worked with her hands, feet and cups. Loosened up my trapezus and shoulders. I suffer from psoriosis and I have a hard time treating it with anything other than sunlight. About a week after using their sauna, my condition cleared up almost completely and hasn't gotten worse since so I would recommend it for anyone looking to treat it. read more

I had a massage by Starr, and honestly my massage was 20 out of 5 stars. After the subjective intake, she explored my problem areas and found places on my body I didn't know had kinks and nots. Boy was I carrying a lot. She worked right through it with the perfect amount of pressure checking in periodically making sure that I was comfortable. Her professionalism, wisdom of the body, use of essential oils, and hot stones. My gosh. Never have I ever fallen asleep during a massage, but I snoozed! Ryder has been very accommodating to my specific needs and hot spots. I have degenerative arthritis in my neck, back and shoulders.
