I just did my first float at Healing One and it was a wonderful experience. It's a very casual and friendly environment and the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I suggest showing up early to hang out and drink the tea that's provided. I've never felt more relaxed after my float and recommend this to everyone, even if it's just to experience it. Love this place so much. I actually found this place by accident. I had an appointment at another place in the same parking lot but walked in this place instead. I still got my massage at the other place but it was different...... I decided to book an appointment at Healing One like a few weeks later and I absolutely love it. The staff are all nice and professional. It's very safe and calming environment which gives off great vibes. Just walking inside this place already makes me feel good. It's well worth the money. The therapist who worked on me and planning to see again is Alicia. Hopefully I got her name right. She's very professional and accommodating. My back and hips were so tight. Most likely I injured it at the gym. Not to mention I have slight scoliosis and I've been in a couple minor car accidents which didn't seem to help my back either and possibly some trauma. I went in for my first soak ever without any real expectations since I've never done anything like this before. Chaz was super friendly when I walked in and got me all cozy in the hang out space so I could fill out paperwork and watch the VERY informative pre-float video. They supply everything that you might need for your float (ear plugs, robe, towels, vinegar, vaseline...) the video explains it all. I was shown to my room which consisted of a small changing area with a large shower that contained the door to the float room. Exactly enough space to do what you need to do. The float room was the same size as the shower/changing space giving me ample room to float without touching anything. There is a bright blue/pink light that illuminates the whole space which you can turn off when ready and music plays for the first 10 minutes and then again when your time is up. The float itself was a little sureal. I've done meditation in the past and thought oh I will just quiet my mind. But seriously, in the face of nothingness my mind went bonkers for at least the first half of my time. When it finally calmed down I could feel/hear my own heartbeat and that was all. After I was finished floating I was a bit out of sorts and happily utilized the amazing relaxation lounge once more. They have an oxygen bar, tea, water, books, coloring books, a love sack... what more could you ask for? The space was very chill and inviting so I didn't feel rushed to take off before I was actually ready to deal with the world again. It wasn't necessarily a life altering experience but I did notice the beauty in the day more after I left and found that I had more patience with my 3 year old and her diva tantrums that evening. I also noticed that my skin was SUPER soft! I think that it is really hard to take the time to just sit with yourself and allow your mind to consciously relax and let go of things these days, so allowing myself to take 90 minutes to just exist without any distractions was a nice change of pace. The ambience of this place is amazing. Chaz has done an amazing job with how the energy flows in their space. I am not new go floating and was super excited to try a place out of town. I'd been traveling across the country and this was exactly what I needed. I also bought some of their tea that they blend in-house, it was super tasty (the ginger spice). I went to Healing One for my first float yesterday. It's such a comfortable environment the moment you walk in, with a colorful and easy to read "menu" detailing all their services and combo packages available. Crystal and rock fans will be so stoked to see their collection on display, which I've heard is only going to get bigger. They have charged water and a wide variety of teas available to help you hydrate and get settled in before your float, massage or energy work. The first float is definitely an experience, and probably not what you'd expect. First you take a shower in the float room, with soap/shampoo/conditioner provided for you. Then you dry off your face and step into the tank! For your first 10-15 minutes they play soft music to get you into the groove and slow your mind down, and it fades away into silence. The water's warm and comfortable, but you don't want it in your eyes! You have the option to completely close the tank (it's so easy to reopen the door), leave the door cracked, or completely open if you're a little nervous. Once you're inside and find a comfortable position, it's the most amazing thing to feel your entire body just relax. There's nothing like the feeling of weightlessness! It took me a little while to adjust to the idea of doing nothing. It's SO HARD to just.. Rest. No distractions, nothing to stimulate your brain, it leaves you in a very outer-space kind of environment. By the time I finally got the hang of it - of not doing anything - the music came back on and it was time to get out! It's kind of shocking how quickly 90 minutes goes by when there's no clock to watch. I got out of the tank, showered off again, and got dressed. My skin and hair are SO HAPPY now! I've also been having trouble breathing lately, and after my float it felt like my lungs had a lot more room for air. I can't wait for my next float, especially now that I know what to expect! Chaz, Micah, and Lauren have done a beautiful job with Healing One, and floating is such a unique experience. A must try! Today my brother and I just stumbled in for a tour and met Chaz the owner. My brother had been interested in opening a float place of his own. Chaz happily gave us a tour of his place and explained how everything works. He gave my brother advice on opening his own place and shared his amazing story of how he got his place up and running. He was very friendly and knowledgable! Before we even bought a float he was very open to sharing his ideas and stories. We then bought a float ( I suggest to call in advance, because he's usually booked) I have chronic leg pain from previous injuries and my brother was looking to just completely relax. How do you describe one of the best experiences one could've had on their first float tank? This place was hands down incredible. From the moment you walk into the soothing ambiance, a calm comes over you & you immediately forget the worries of your day. We were so warmly greeted by Chaz who possesses such a positive energy! He walked us through the process of the tank and explained how everything worked. We (my boyfriend and i) both got massages prior to floating which were sublime! I highly recommend doing a massage before your float because let me tell you, my muscles were so relaxed during my float that i was able to experience the full effect of sensory deprivation. The float tank and room were both super clean and welcoming. I felt comfortable and totally relaxed. Afterwards, we lounged in the "relax area" for a bit just trying to come back to life after having such a euphoric experience. Absolutely looking forward to returning to Healing One!! read more

I went for my first float yesterday. I was a little nervous, not sure what to expect. It was an incredible experience! It felt like being in a womb and floating on a cloud at the same time. I had been traveling and also through some trauma and my body felt heavy and a bit painful and I felt tremendous relief after floating...the salts are SO HEALING. I had a 60 minute float this weekend at Healing One. This was my first ever sensory deprivation float and it has taken me a couple of days to put into words what to say about it. Checking in and going through the process of what to do and expect was easy. Chaz and his staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. The healing room where the float tank is, is clean, inviting and very relaxing. During my float I experience everything from giddy giggling, to deeply calm serenity. The time flew by as I grew more relaxed and just allowed myself to float and be present. After my float, I felt lighter and brighter - as though my entire body had received a reset, physically and emotionally. I have never been "good at" meditation, or anything that required me to be still and relax for a period of time and quiet my mind, but this was easy and the benefits have lasted for days. I've slept better and have felt so peaceful since my float. I'll be coming back for another one very soon. read more

Great Center. I bought 4 floats to split between my brother and I over christmas. We finally made it in for our first sensory deprivation floats and they were amazing. Chaz and the other employees were very welcoming and informational. It is a great open environment that makes you feel comfortable. They have a chill lounge with plenty of places to hang out, read, talk, and drink tea or water. The float tank rooms have a nice ambiance that immediately make you feel comfortable and ready to float. They walk you through the whole thing and are there every step of the way. If anyone is looking for a place to float this is it! They are very attentive to their facility and it was very clean and their processes work well. My brother got a massage from Rodney and he said it was nice to accompany a float. Rodney was very in-tune with the body and has an individual touch on massage that my brother said makes it feel personal and made him feel very comfortable.
