I love the staff at this facility. I live in Long Beach and had scheduled an appointment in there facility. I have experienced nothing but dissatisfaction at the Long Beach facility. Reason is after scheduling my follow up wc sends me a letter telling me they are stopping my wc due to failure of making an appointment. It also said on the letter that LB health point facility had reached out to me to try and schedule my appointment. I was so upset being that I had scheduled my follow up appointment and had my print out to provide my employer with my follow up appointment on it. The LB facility failed to enter my appointment in there system. I ended up getting it resolved on my own by reaching out to them and scheduling another time to come in. Once I was seen again. I waited for at least 30 min in my room. Then once Dr Krishnaredding seen me he ordered X-rays after getting my X-rays done. I was asked to wait in my room for my results. I was left 45 min in my room. Now mind you I did step out and told a staff member of the doctor was coming after waiting 20 right after X-rays. I waited then time passed by now it's been 45 min total. I then received a call from the front desk to schedule my follow up. I told her I was still waiting in the room. They had apparently taken my chart to the front. They had forgot I was still in the room waiting for my results. I then come out after 45 min of waiting tell the staff. Is the doctor coming back to give me my results? He asked me to wait after my X-rays and never came back. The staff members said the same he will be with you in a few minutes. By now I was upset. I told them that's what the first group of staff told me and I've been sitting here 45 min later. The staff members apologized and told the doctor. The doctor then comes in 10 min later doesn't even walk all the way in but just at the door and gives me my results. Point of this is I would rather drive all the way to La Mirada facility were they are professional and treat me like I matter. I will never go back to the Long Beach facility worse unorganized facility. I did share my experience with the two of the front desk staff Jesica and Thelma on my bad experience and thanked them for always being so caring and communicative with me. They even apologized for the inconvenience I had experience and showed empathy which is very important when working in the medical field. read more

I kinda didn't like the 1 1/2 hr wait. Then i had questions about another ortho-related problem and was told I had to make a seperate appointment for that; didn't like that either. I provide counseling and assessment myself and I would not ever tell my patient they are allowed to only bring up one issue at a time. read more

I was a patient of Dr. Hunter's and Dr. Priebe and was very happy with the quality of care. I felt the office and med tech staff, however, were disorganized. Booking appointments or checking out after an appointment required a large amount of patience. I had one unfortunate incident that cost me a 3 week delay in being seen because the receptionist couldn't confirm with the nurse who couldn't confirm with the tech that the Dr. had requested the appt!!?? Just to complete my experience I had items stolen from the PT area, which cost me @ $400 to replace (2014 car key was $$$). Botton line--great medical care but less than great facility and support staff. read more

Very unprofessional staff ! Long waits in the waiting room . And in the dr room with an appointment! ! Waited over an hour and a half from checkin to the dr room . I Litteraly had to step out of the room and ask what the deal was ... the nurse with a smirk , says "oh theres a wait for x rays " ... thats cool . But when were they gonna communicate that to us ?? After another hour ?? As we hear them gabbing about their personal lives right out side the door . Bunch of ammitures, unprofessional idoits working here . Going on 2 hours from appt time as i type ..and still HAVENT SEEN THE DOC YET !!! whats the point of an appointment ?? My time is just as valuable. Stay away !! This place sucks ! read more

Staff and Dr. were fine when I finally saw the Dr. I had 4:00 appt. I got there at 3:35 hoping to get in and out since it was just a follow up visit. I waited an incredibly long time for the Dr and he finally saw me. I checked the time after I saw the Dr. And it was 4:58. I am waiting for them to call me for follow up appt and its 5:07. Great service. I was using this facility through a work related injury. Very nice attentive nurses and doctors.

I was so nervous about doing this, so I started with my arms. The whole idea of a light that would take the hair away seemed scary, but it was amazing. It is a bit of a 'zap' but not nearly what I'd had with electrolysis, and the amazing thing is, it worked! That dark hair on my arms is gone! So I got brave and did my legs. I have shaved my legs every day for 50 years, even in the hospital after giving birth! After one treatment, I didn't need to shave for 3 days!!! Everyone there is so kind and careful, and professional. If you have dark hair, it can be GONE!!! read more

My son was directed by his job to see the workers comp dr after cutting off the tip of his finger at his job. When a situation was created by a work staff member from my sons job, we were very gratefully for the Health pointe Staff front office and back for helping us to handle it at a very difficult time. Not only did they calm our fears but they made corrections and assured us steps would be taken and things would be handled. Thank you especially to Moses I believe Nurse would be his title. He went the extra step that not all people would do to try and assure our privacy and to calm our anxiety. It was a difficult day and he helped with his care and concern.... Kudos! read more

This place is worst than a public emergency room. With my appointment ,Waited 2.5 hours to see the doctor and another 30 mins to get My future appointment given to me. Front desk people are not very helpful maybe except for one lady. Definitely their system for patient comfort and care are not in their priority list. It's just unfair for a patient to not be notify that you're going to be waiting 2.5 hours even if I had an appointment set. So disappointing. read more

The physical therapy staff are excellent and very caring. They greet you by name when you arrive and depart. They are very knowledgeable and care about your progress. This is the best place I've had therapy and I've had quite a few through time. I drive 20+ miles each way, but it's OK because the service is great. read more

Ok..Yeah, I like this place-this Physical Therapy joint. I've spent plenty of time there to know. Struggling with my right arm injured in 2015, my doctor prescribed physical therapy for rehabilitation. Somewhat apprehensive about this, as I've always believed physical therapy as not genuine or effective in treating someone. My employer offers great insurance, so I decided to take the recommendation and begin treatment. After some initial scheduling I ended up at the La Mirada HealthPointe, Physical Therapy facility. I was greeted by Debbie, the attending staff , then I was introduced to Dr. Mojgan Rahimi who performed my evaluation and planned a weekly regiment of therapy. This included the "Wave-E" system which is a low-voltage biological muscle enrichment treatment. Leery of the entire function in the beginning, soon I began to see and experience the real value of the physical therapy process. I'm a person of strong convictions that must 'see' something before believing in it. Truly wanting to heal fast, I took the activity seriously, working hard and under the helpful guidance of Dr. Rahimi , to my surprise the therapy began to work...! I began to see and understand the workings of these sessions and how well it worked. Too soon after 12 sessions, my arm healed completely. I mentioned I've spent enough time to know the HealthPoint Physical Therapy lab and its staff. Unfortunately, a second fall and subsequent injury to my left shoulder once again has me taking treatments for this injury. One big difference this time: I believe in the Physical Therapy! Kudos to Dr. Rahimi, Dr. G, a very cool and helpful doctor, and to the special staff that keeps the place moving with her great scheduling skills and her effervescent persona: Samara. I have gone here to this clinic for some time and i can say that the doctors are good and the staff is great. There are times when there is a long wait but that can be expected at any office this day and age. The medical assistant are caring and friendly and always trying to put you at ease when it has been a l9ng wait. Never go to this place! I came here august for an urgent care and they charge me for $125. When my insurance bill came I only owe them $20+ and no one even cared to refund the over charge they did. I called them and was advise by Thomas it will take 21 days to process. After 21 days still no refund and call them back now I have to wait another 10 days. This was probably my worse healthcare visit I ever had. I went here for a simple doctor checkup & the staff weren't able to verify my insurance with my insurance card information which was Blue Shield. After waiting over an hour, the staff told us they weren't able to verify my insurance and asked us to call our insurance. They requested us to contact my insurance, which i did, & was able to get my insurance information right away & I gave my phone to the staff so they may verify my insurance. The staff decided to put my phone on speaker so the entire patient waiting area were able to hear the reason why I was there during their conversation. No privacy whatsoever and everyone heard the reason for my visit & they weren't able to answer any questions my insurance provider wanted to ask (i.e., what kind of establishment it was for insurance billing purposes), i left the clinic after my phone was returned back to me, with nothing resolved. I've been coming to Healthpointe La Mirada for quite a while now. I've had only good experiences here and all the staff in the front are extremely helpful! Especially Jessica and Selma! The wait time is minimal and the the office is clean and they have two tv screens to keep you occupied while you wait. The back office personal Elena and Lydia are highly conducive. Concerning Healthpointe staff and doctors I have no notable complaints in general, I have been treated at this facility for several different injuries over the years and Healthpointe has left me with a positive and solid approval of their services. I am currently seeing Dr. Katz and his direct team/assistant who are very professional and show concern in treating my injury with the utmost care, within their ability. Having said this, the 4 star rating is directed more towards "York" insurance adjusters I am concerned about the way they are dropping the ball and care massively by not authorizing the physical therapy needed to compliment Dr. Katz's treatment plan. Not sure who the Healthpointe liasons are for dealing with "York". Overall Healthpointe in my experience seems competent in their medical treatment of my particular injury(s). Regarding their physical therapy team they are strong in knowledge and treatment of my injury. I have observed other patients receiving therapy during my sessions and they seem very content with their treatment as well when I talk to them in general conversation. read more

I am a case manager for injured workers, I go to hundreds of doctors offices and meet and need staff all the time. I think I know when I am unfortunate and or when I get lucky that I am being helped by someone that cares about what I need and des it professionally. Kathy at the front desk of the LA Mirada facility has always communicated well and helped me get the needed information quickly; stopping often to help me. Kathy has good eye contact, a pleasant demeanor and is an asset to any company. Overall the facility staff have been helpful and professional, but lately Kathy has stood out above the rest and I can see she is made of the good stuff and wanted to recognize her efforts in a business where there is little to no recognition for hard work. read more
