I arrived at 9:15am for my 9:20am appt. I checked in on the kiosk and on my phone. I wasn't called in until 9:41am. Once I was in, Amanda was very efficient. She drew my blood and it was so painless that I didn't even know she had done it! I was out by 9:50am. Kudos to Amanda!

Then was told to check in as standby. The machine was incredibly glitchy. I had to push every letter and number 10 times before it would register. Then even though my name was on the standby line the phlebotomist who came out said she has no one on her standby line - my name was on the screen in the waiting room. Blood draws are very anxiety provoking for me and a stressful experience like this just adds to the anxiety. It also seems that none of these reviews make any change in their process. As the exam was not done; she had to refund the card. She didn't know how to use the machine; she had to ask for help. After apparently getting it, she told me that in a few days the return would be done. This refund has not been made as of today, July 28th. I've been to the lab several times and it's always the same story. Hang on! Then they said it was a problem with my bank. I went to my bank and there is no problem with my bank. This never happened. The lab error. 3 months without refunding my money. Absurd!!! Return my money!!!

The poke itself was right on the money, nearly painless, and without complication. He took the kit with him to do the postal dropoff himself - it was included with his services. One less thing for me to have to do, which was appreciated. We shook hands, said goodbye, and that was that. He did not solicit me for a Yelp review. A lot of service providers will offer deals to customers in hopes of scamming their way into a good review - it's a red flag whenever I see it and it makes me mad for having wasted time reading reviews that were essentially bought.
