There is a yearly turnover of employees , and the employees are under paid. I think they need to focus on quality then money incoming.

I arrived at 9:15am for my 9:20am appt. I checked in on the kiosk and on my phone. I wasn't called in until 9:41am. Once I was in, Amanda was very efficient. She drew my blood and it was so painless that I didn't even know she had done it! I was out by 9:50am. Kudos to Amanda!

Finally found a phlebotomist to speak with (there is no one in the front just one glitchy machine) and was told they have no record of my appt even though I showed my confirmation. Then was told to check in as standby. The machine was incredibly glitchy. I had to push every letter and number 10 times before it would register. Then even though my name was on the standby line the phlebotomist who came out said she has no one on her standby line - my name was on the screen in the waiting room. Blood draws are very anxiety provoking for me and a stressful experience like this just adds to the anxiety. It also seems that none of these reviews make any change in their process. Doesn't seem like anyone cares at all.

I've been scared of getting my blood drawn pretty much my whole life, and for some reason I never…read morefelt that fear once with Andreh. He's extremely professional, super efficient (he was in and out of my apartment within 10-15 minutes), and clearly knows what he's doing. He walked me through everything with total confidence and made the whole process feel easy. He was also super patient with my barking dogs, so there's some bonus points right there. If you're in the area, you need phlebotomy done, and especially if you get anxious about needles or haven't had it done before, this is your guy. Five stars - highly recommend.

I paid up front over Venmo, feeling comfortable with it because of his good reputation on here. And indeed he did not disappoint. Andre showed up to my house exactly on time. He went over the instructions of the kit for the test I was having done, and already knew what to expect. He asked the right questions - "Are there ice packs with this one?" "Does it need to be centrifuged?" He was even such a pro he knew which cabinet door held my garbage can without looking. The poke itself was right on the money, nearly painless, and without complication. He took the kit with him to do the postal dropoff himself - it was included with his services. One less thing for me to have to do, which was appreciated. We shook hands, said goodbye, and that was that. He did not solicit me for a Yelp review. A lot of service providers will offer deals to customers in hopes of scamming their way into a good review - it's a red flag whenever I see it and it makes me mad for having wasted time reading reviews that were essentially bought. But Andre didn't do that at all, which is why I immediately got on my computer to write him a review anyway. He earned his reviews by being good at what he does. I'd use him again anytime.

Even with some computer issues happening, they still managed to keep things moving and get people in and out as quickly as possible. It also really helped having someone up front directing patients. I didn't catch her name, but she was patient, organized, and clearly knew what she was doing while handling the crowd. I came in for lab work and my 1-hour glucose test, and Kevin did an amazing job drawing my blood. I absolutely hate needles, but he helped keep me calm and made the process quick and painless. Walk-ins are welcome, parking was easy to find, and the facility itself was kept very clean despite how busy it was. Overall, a really positive experience.

The last time I visited, I received a text message when it was my turn for my blood draw, so I asked if they could do the same today. The employee told me they couldn't because Saturdays are by appointment only and they don't accept walk-ins. My question is: if that's the policy, why was I allowed to check in and wait for an entire hour without anyone telling me? It would have been nice to know upfront instead of wasting my time. Better communication would have saved me a long, unnecessary wait.
