I went less than a month ago and they do! However, the seating is limited. I believe they had two or three tables.

We use real milk in all of our milk teas except for Taro Milk Tea, Lavender Earl Grey Milk Tea and Rose Milk Tea (in which we use non-dairy creamer).

Why take it away and force me to interact with their extremely rude employees who always act like they don't want to be there? This is not a single experience. More than half the times I go here someone is rude. The boba are either softened to mush or are hard. They're either out of boba, out of straws, or out of lids. There are so many boba places in the SGV I don't see why I need to give this place more chances when I'm spending $8 on a drink with 15% preselected tip option just to deal with an employee that acts like you're interrupting their free time.

As I sipped, I felt happy. I arrived at Ono Tea House (El Monte) on Tuesday (around 11:18AM). Parking felt cramped because the lot is a strip. These businesses share about 24 parking spots. Fortunately, I found a spot. Staff is very welcoming, friendly, and hardworking. Staff maintained a pleasant smile, and Staff happily answered my questions. My order took two minutes and 11 seconds. Good time! There's no self-service kiosk; customers must order at counter. However, I disliked how the full menu is not visible from the counter. Customers must walk away to find the hanging menu; customers must memorize their order; and customers need to walk back to the counter to say the order. The process felt inconvenient and intimidating, and a counter menu would have helped immensely. Also, during my visit, Staff mentioned "Drink's Size" and "Topping Preference," but Staff did not mention "Sweetness Level" and "Ice Level." I only realized these options could be modified after re-checking the full menu. As mentioned, I enjoyed the Honey Calamansi ($5.75 - Large - 32oz) with Crystal Boba (additional 75 cents). It's HUGE! The drink is sugary, lightly tart, and fresh. To my immense surprise, it's very thirst-quenching and tasty! Concerning the Crystal Boba, the texture resembled jellies. This topping had a soft sweetness, but they were not bouncy. Rather, the Crystal Boba had a soft, playful pop. All in all, the drink is delicious. Regarding ambiance, Ono Tea House (El Monte) is very comfortable. It's so clean that everything sparkled!! The floors, windows, and tables are well-maintained. I was very impressed with the potted plants because they had no dust; rather, they glowed a healthy, lush green. I also enjoyed the cheerful, upbeat Christmas music. This location does not have a restroom; there's two bottles of hand sanitizer for customers. Also, there's only one electrical outlet (the Christmas Tree uses this). In addition, the location only has four tables. Despite this, Ono Tea House (El Monte) feels well-maintained; it's very obvious that the owners care. I also appreciated how waves of locals kept entering to order. This hidden spot is still very popular! Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Ono Tea House (El Monte). This small business has heart, and it shows. If curious, I recommend. 4.8 out of 5
