I randomly decided to give Faz another try last weekend. I suddenly remembered why I hadn't ordered form there in the last decade. There is nothing special about their pizza. Their pizza sucks! Faz was a marketing master. He was very friendly and always called people by their first name. Faz would often pass out free pizza at my middle school back in the day. The friendliness of this place continues to this day. All pizza is good, some are just better then others. Faz is ok, it was actually pretty on par with papa johns per the group i was with. I tried the tandoori, philly cheese steak, cheese bread and sausage and mushroom pizza. With how exotic it sounded i was expecting to be blown away but they were all very bland. but pizza is pizza, and if someone else was paying i would have no trouble stuffing my face. read more

Hello Faz was a last resort for me. And now I know why. First and foremost, I ordered two small pizzas using the Eat24Hours.com. There was absolutely no information on either their own website or on this ordering platform about the size of the pizzas. Not actual dimensions, but slice numbers, or how many people it would feed. So I ordered 2x small pizzas for 6 people, thinking I would get "American small." The pizza was barely enough, giving everyone 2 slices, and not more. But that's not even the worst part. On the note as I placed the order, I specified the entrance of the building I was going to meet them to pick up the pizza. Of course, they went to the wrong entrance, but since the delivery was earlier than the scheduled time, I wasn't late to my meeting. And the worst part of all. The ordering platform asks about if I need any utensils to be added to the pizza order. I asked for plates, cups, salt, forks and knives, what have you. I even specified the number of people in the meeting, so that I would get sufficient amount for everyone to enjoy the pizza. Yet, the delivery courier showed up at the wrong entrance, with extremely small pizzas, and absolutely nothing else with them. When I asked him about the utensils that I requested, not only did he reveal the fact that he had no idea, but also did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. He just said "this is all I was given," apologized, and left. So, will I order from Hello Faz again? Only if I have to, i.e. when an early delivery is needed. I love this pizza!!! The sauce is sooo goood, and the topping are fresh and good. The prices are low!!! I wish I lived closer..

Price was great (4 stars for that), but pizza, specifically the crust, was really bad (1 or 2 stars for that). There was something odd about their sausage as well. We Ordered the chicken tandoori pizza and side salad thru yelp and picked it up on our way home. My fiancé and I love Indian food and were really excited about tandoori pizza! It's really cool I got to customize my order through yelp (or eat 24) and it was correct when we picked it up. Granted we picked it up at 11 pm and there weren't any customers, so how could they go wrong? The pizza was yummy but couldn't really taste the flavors of the chicken tandoori which was a little disappointing. The salad I ordered was small but enough to share. An absolute institution in A2. The people are great and the pizza is amazing. Just like Faz uncle, his kids and his staff are continuing the tradition with excellent service. I recently tried Hello Faz Pizza for the first time - it was good! A large half pepperoni, half cheese pizza ran me about $8 and the whole group enjoyed it. While it wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, it was certainly tasty. I would definitely come back here again. read more

Awful, awful service. My delivery guy called hung up and right when I picked up no one answered. Called back twice no answer. Called restaurant and that was when it got the worst. My rating for pzza would be 5 stars but for the 'gentleman' I just spoke to when I called to say my order was wrong, I who have been a loyal customer for 15 years, my review would be negative 5 stars. He was rude, obnoxious and beligerant. Again, the food is great! The delivery drivers are great! Everyone I've ever dealt with at the store, including the late Faz, up until today, have been great. There are a lot of fun pizza places in Ann Arbor. I'm not sure if it was a true 4 star place but I liked it. We just got a veggie pizza (mostly onions, mushrooms, and jalapeno's) a couple of times when I was working in Ann Arbor. The ingredients seemed fresh, and the crust was crispy. It was about $2-$3 for a large per four of us I think. It was huge, delicious. and there was fast delivery. Some details may be off, but funny story: Years ago we had placed an order. For some reason two of the girls picked it up. When they returned one told us that an older man had given them the pizza and was telling them that they were so beautiful and chatted them up for a good while and mentioned he'd remember the number and said that he hoped they would come back soon. It was a bit overwhelming they said and as a protective friend I was really upset. Well another of our friends joined us, and when she heard the story she said no that's just Faz and that she knew the family personally (it was actually like "N.P. silly guy, that's just Faz and that's just the way he is!")! I was surprised and initially still not amused but the more I heard about him the more I heard that he just loved people and being in the community and that he was a very sweet guy. It's sad to hear that he has passed on but I'm glad to find that the store with his name is still around. read more

I ordered a peperoni pizza and loaded cheese bread online. When I got home, I saw that the 'loaded cheesy bread was normal cheesy bread was normal cheesy bread. when I called and explained this the person on the phone was not helpful at all and ended up hanging up on me. See other reviews for the type of conversation I had. Also the pizza was over done, and the cheesy bread was under done and I had to wait 5 min after the pizza came out for the second part of my order. He did nothing to keep the pizza warm so by the time I had a couple cheese sticks, the pizza was cold. Finally, the marinara dipping sauce tasted like it had started to go off so I had to throw that away.. read more

Easily my favorite pizza spot in A2, can't ever leave the city without visiting at least once. My favorites are the Muhammad Ali pizza, the tandoori chicken pizza, and the buffalo wings. Have been a regular here for over 10 years, the service has improved recently. read more

Had the ranch chicken pizza (without bacon & with some extra veggies) and it was pretty good. Definitely not the best pizza I had but I think I would have enjoyed it more if it was thin crust. The regular crust seemed too thick and doughy. I would recommend getting the garlic and parm added on the crust because it added a lot of flavor that was lacking throughout the rest of the pizza. I kind of wished it was added ontop of the whole thing. Also, staff was really friendly and honest and let us know that only chicken was certified halal. My favorite pizza in Ann Arbor! Their gluten free, thin crust, and wheat crusts are my favorite. Their veggie pizza is fresh and not greasy like most takeout pizza can be. Pretty good pizza. Very bad business practice. I ordered a pizza online through Yelp and Eat Street. Extra large, check the box marked gluten free crust. They delivered the pizza. It was a medium. The delivery guy said to call the restaurant. I called the restaurant. Yes, they said, they had delivered a medium pizza, and yes, they had charged me for an extra large. They couldn't do anything about that, since the Internet order was through an online company. The best they could do was call the online company, explain, and ask that I be returned the difference in price between an extra large and a medium. They promised to do this and then call back. They never called back. So beware when ordering from this restaurant online. They have no clue at all. read more

This is the best pizza in town in my honest opinion, despite the fact that they don't have my ideal thin crust. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful and you can tell that a lot of love goes into each and every pizza they make. They serve both Coke and Pepsi products, something they should be commended for as I hate having to compromise. Only once have they screwed up my order and by the time I returned the pizza they had a fresh one already made for me. The summertime in Ann Arbor pizza might be my favorite pizza ever. They do a great job with service and delicious pizzas.

Perfect balance of quality, affordability, and service. The family who works here is wonderful. They even welcome field trips for children to make their own pizzas in their kitchen (I'm a teacher and have done this numerous times), and you can tell they genuinely enjoy it. I prefer to support these types of local businesses over chains. Plus, the pizza is way better than anything you can get on the west side of town. read more

Great pizza and fast service. We got triple pepperoni and the cheesy bread and it was everything we wanted and more. Whatever seasoning they put on that cheesy bread is like heaven!! Definitely will be saving the number for this place in my phone. We did carryout this time just to check out the place, which looks like a family owned business. I ordered a pizza at 930 pm. It said on there website they close at 11 pm. At 10:30 pm the pizza arrived. The driver made me walk out and look for him because he could not find the address that other delivery drivers have no problem finding. After walking quarter mile found him. He was carrying the pizza like a complete idiot. He was holding it vertically. Needless to say I declined the pizza. He took it out of the bag and it was folded in half and all the toppings had slide together. He acted like I was causing problems and he was upset with me that I would not accept the pizza. I tried calling to tell them the situation, no one answered. I got in the car and drove to them to complain. The store was locked up tight with hand written note that said they closed at 10 pm. Very unacceptable, highly unlikely I will order from here again. Especially if they give me a hard time about refunding my money. read more

We love the pizza at Hello Faz, and prefer just the plain cheese pizza. The sauce and crust are so good it just is terrific plain. We will order pizza with toppings from other places, but Faz has some unusual toppings (they serve no pork at all), so we usually opt for cheese. The staff is always very friendly. read more

This is a great place. No b.s.; you get what you pay for. 4.99 for a large cheese pizza- and yes it is a large. Their large cheesy breadsticks are the size of a large pizza, as well. I have never received something from them that I didn't expect. Also, I enjoy occassionally an alfredo or pesto base rather than tomato. They have never charged me extra for this. read more
