This facility is absolutely amazing! Clean, friendly, fun - perfect for my toddler who was having her first visit. She loved the games in the waiting area and the little play area when we went to the back for her appt. Everything was set up to transition kids so easily to their dentist appt. The tech and doctor, as well as everyone else, had such great attitudes that really made us all feel at ease. My daughter had a great time, was relaxed in the dental chair, was able to watch some tv with headphones on to distract her, and she didn't budge or fuss once the entire time. I used to take my kids to the Descanso peds dental clinic but they rescheduled us twice and then never followed up so we decided to try this new place in the area and I was SO happy I did! First, the clinic is absolutely adorable and zen - furnished with wooden toys, soothing color scheme, lots of toys for kids to engage with, and TV screens above the dental chairs. The entire team were so gentle with both my kids and I couldnt believe it but they both barely cried. Actually, they cried when we left because they wanted to stay and play!! We took photos and brushed the dino's teeth with a giant tooth brush, got lots of goodies and a cocomelon electric toothbrush, and the one thing I really appreciated was the educational infographic they shared with me. I work in health education so seeing that infographic really impressed me. I texted all my friends raving about this place. Let's just say I am not dreading our next checkup in July! read more

I called the office early morning because my son had a tooth ache. They told me to come in without a hesitation. I walked in to the office and as usual, I was greeted by the amazing front desk staff. I am very pleased with Hello Kids Dental. The dental office is very clean, well maintained. They've gone above and beyond to make sure our kids feel calm being there. My 8 year old son had his teeth cleaned and got a few cavities that were take care of. Can't wait to take him back for his 6 month teeth cleaning. On the other hand my 4 year old son had cavities that needed to be taken care of. Unfortunately he didn't sit in the chair to have his x rays taken let alone to have his teeth cleaned. Dr. Toomanian advised me on few option and one of them was that we can have him put down under anesthesia and take care of all his dental needs. At first I was hesitant and scared to have him be under anesthesia which all parents do. Dr. Toomanian and her staff assured me that everything was going to be fine. After speaking to my husband we decided to go ahead with it. I did my research and did speak to the anesthesiologists before hand who assured me as well that everything was going to be absolutely fine. And it went great, the procedure took and hour if not that. Dr. Toomanian and her lovely staff and the anesthesiologist made sure to make me feel comfortable and that everything was going to be great. All procedures that were needed was taken care of. got to hold my son comfort him and bring him home. After few hours he was up and playing with his toy as nothing had happened. WoW! If I could rate this place 10 stars, I would. I've never enjoyed being at a dentist place as much as I enjoyed coming to Hello Kids Dental. First off, there is plenty of free parking within steps of the office and you are welcomed to a beautifully decorated reception which was very modern and hip. The receptionist greeted us with a smile and quickly checked us in while my daughter (5 years old) played a game connected to the monitor. Within minutes we were called in and the hygienist asked my daughter questions on how she brushed her teeth and quickly began the cleaning process and explained everything she was going to do to my daughter before she did it. Each corner of the office was beautifully crafted - station on how you brush your teeth, station for goodies, etc. Also, the place is spotless CLEAN! The doctor came by and was so patient and thoughtful. She had a smile on her face the entire time and communicated with me and my daughter throughout the process making sure we understood and felt comfortable with what was taking place. Both she and the hygienist went to great lengths to take care of us. We initially went in for x-rays and cleaning but they discovered she had a baby cavity so they were able to take care of it so quickly and seamlessly that my daughter didn't even realize what was going on. When we had visited a dentist (different dentist and location), we couldn't even get through her cleaning half way through, so you can imagine how great and amazing we were taken care of during our visit that I didn't have to be dragged out of there and was being asked to stay there longer by my daughter when we were done! They have a tv monitor on the top of the ceiling and headphones which I think truly helps ease the kids with any procedure they are going through. If you are debating on where to take your child or young adult, do not think twice. COME HERE! I wish they were accepting adults, but they aren't. I asked. =) But, I'll suck it up - as long as my kids are taken care of by a great dental place, that's all I can ask for. Thank you so much for all your hard work!
