I ordered the regular chicken wings and oriental chicken salad for delivery. The salad was just ok, some of the lettuce was limp and the chicken was cubed and looked fake. The chicken wings were itty bitty AND I only received 1 celery stick and 1 carrot stick and they had them sitting on wilted ice burg lettuce. Why would you place hot wings on lettuce when the order is out for delivery? I had to peel the wilted lettuce off each tiny wing. For the price, I'd think they'd be a little more generous on the celery and carrot sticks. Why bother adding just one of each for the order? Seriously, the menu listed them as "sticks"....plural? Wilted lettuce is not appealing on a hot day, but crunchy cold celery sticks are. My bad was I didn't check the order right away and ate my salad first. After I picked up my order, I didn't eat it until maybe 45 minutes after I got home. Unfortunately, I found something in my pizza that wasn't supposed to be there, embedded in the cheese topping. It was just on one slice, and I had three kids waiting for their dinner, so I wasn't about to waste time or food, just avoided that one slice. I know stuff like this happens every so often. I called the store to let them know, and Danny was so friendly and helpful. He didn't try and contest any of my findings. I knew all he cared about was making it right. He asked me what I wanted instead of offering something up front, which I appreciated. He was more than willing to offer a little more than what I suggested. Usually, I judge businesses on how they handle issues like this. And Hello Pizza gets an A+! Now onto the food. I ordered a pizza, half bulgogi and half potato gold. It was so good. One of my kids who doesn't usually eat pizza (I know, must be the only kid in the world) actually kept asking for more of the sweet potato crust! We LOVE Hello Pizza! My son is EXTREMELY gluten intolerant and Hello Pizza has a great gluten free crust pizza that we have found safe for him to eat. It is a thin crust, but still soft and tasty. This is honestly the ONLY place he hasn't experienced some side effects after eating (and we have tried a lot of places!). We always order online and just put a little note about changing gloves and asking for extra caution. We can't thank them enough for having this option as eating out and ordering in is SUCH a challenge for us. For the rest of us gluten-full folks, their regular crust pizzas are quite large, hot when delivered, and have ample topping choices. I enjoy Asian flavors a lot, so I really enjoyed some of their unique options like the bulgogi pizza. I also LOVE the Korean wings...the sauce is sweet, spicy, sticky and delicious! Personally, I didn't care for the potato gold crust, but that's okay...we don't have to like everything at a restaurant for it to still be 5 stars...that is simply a matter of taste and I'm sure others love it. We checked this place out after a long hike to Switzer fall. The staff was really nice and friendly, even gave my husband free ice coffee to tried. Owned by a Korean who loves soccer (there was an article about him in the local newspaper), it gives a new and ingenious spin on pizza pies They have normal options, like cheese and pepperoni, but also have unique other options like shrimp and bacon. I ordered a Margherita Pizza (a simple pizza with mozzarella, tomato, and basil), with "Gold Crust," Hello Pizza's specialty. It's a normal crust filled with sweet potato mousse and cheddar cheese sprinkled on the top, making it look (and taste) like pure gold. And boy, was it tasty. I couldn't get enough of it, and I had so much I still have a stomachache! But it was worth it. All their pizzas are made when ordered, and only the highest-quality ingredients are used. Came back for some hot wings and fries. The honey butter fries were SO good. Like SO SO SO good. We had it as an appetizer and it was gone in 10 seconds. Came here with a big group (20ish of us) after a 16-mile hike on Super Bowl Sunday. Great for groups because order at the counter and then they bring it out to you. Lots of inventive pizza options (I got pesto shrimp) as well as the tried-and-true types like veggie and margherita. The salads are big and shareable. Fountain drinks and iced tea get refills. Very upbeat staff. Lots of TVs so we coincidentally caught the very end of the Super Bowl. Everyone was satisfied with their food and NOT just because we were wiped out. I walked in for lunch and was welcomed by two different people which I always appreciate, the price for an individual pizza was very reasonable however when I went to go pay the gentleman who was helping me, asked me to fill out my receipt with gratuity. Never in my life have I ever had anyone actually asks me for gratuity, as my blood pressure started to rise I asked him to repeat his question which he did. I'm still in shock but tipped him anyway knowing I was going right to yelp. The pizza arrived appx 10 min and was piping hot, I was offered condiments and asked to enjoy my food. My boyfriend and I have come to this place for the past 2 years and been faithful customers who tip well and know the manager. I just had the worst experience here with the head guy. Another worker messed up our phone order and when we tried to fix it in person, the head guy BLAMED IT ON US, got up in our faces and YELLED at us "Stop blaming my employee, he did nothing wrong!" We said that the employee who took our phone order misheard us but the head guy kept defending his employee, repeatedly shouting "Don't say that about my worker!!" We left completely shocked and deeply upset. We are never returning again after 2 years. This business NEVER ACCEPTS THEIR MISTAKES AND WILL BLAME IT ON YOU. So if they ever mess up your order, expect to be BLAMED AND YELLED AT TO NOT BLAME THEM. We are reasonable, intelligent people. They got our order wrong, blamed it on us, and kept telling us that we were wrong and to stop criticizing the employee. No wonder why Hello Pizza is always empty every time we come in. Hello Pizza puts a spin on pizza by producing healthy and tasty pizzas. The crusts you can choose from are wholewheat and original. The wholewheat crust gives the pizza a homemade flavor and goes well with the sauce. My favorite though is the original crust. It is slightly sweet and comes out nice and crunchy. The pizzas are cooked with a special conveyor belt (think Quiznos) oven and there is very little grease involved. Besides the toppings you can also add to the crust including sweet potato mousse (try it!!!) and the cream cheese filled crust. As for eating, I have tried the bulgogi, double chicken breast, hawaiian, pepperoni, hello pizza combo (deluxe) and cheese pizzas. All were delicious. The bulgogi and breast meat were great, they are marinated before hand. The ham on the hawaiian was nice and thick. Their deluxe pizza is also quite tasty. The best pizzas I think are the garlic mushroom and the bulgogi. The pizza can be a little pricey but HP has daily specials, the least of which is 50% a particular pizza of the day, and also half pizzas. HP has friendly staff, and a unique take on tasty pizza. read more

This is our family's favorite pizza joint. If you know Korean pizza (ala Mr Pizza) this menu is very similar. You can tell the ingredients are top notch and the pizza is flavorful and not greasy. You will get cravings for Hello Pizza after eating here one time. Korean fried chicken... it's about the best I e had in LA here. Get the soy sauce ones. The interior is geared towards kids with lots of toy vending machines and legos, but it's not junk toys and I appreciate that since we're usually guaranteed to be leaving with something from a machine. Service is great. The owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and appreciated. You can tell he works hard and is passionate about his business. Hello, Hello Pizza! I finally tried this newish neighborhood joint and was not disappointed. The owner/manager makes your pizza fresh when you order it, in front of you behind a glass wall. He's got his baby on his back, smiling while he spins your pizza in the air. How could you not love your pizza after you see it made with such joy?! We tried the whole-wheat crust, half cheese, half pepperoni (not too adventurous - consider us purists). The sauce and the cheese were both very flavorful and very tasty. The crust is tasty and probably about as good as healthy whole-wheat could taste. But the best part of their pizza is that it is, as advertised, fairly healthy. Like a lot of other people I can say that all 3 pizzas we sampled were very good but the potato gold was out of this world amazing. I have never had pizza like this. It's like a pizza crust topped with a shepherd's pie, then bacon, and a light sour cream drizzle. And then the sweet potato crust tops it off with a sweet tasty ending. This is my favorite pizza place in all of LA. My family started coming here a few years back when it first opened and have been coming ever since. We were in the market for a new pizza place that wasn't dominoes or Pizza Hut and when we came across this place we absolutely had to try it because the staff are so cute and attentive and bow and open the door for you when you are leaving (they also walk you to the door when you do take out). Their pizza is delicious and hearty! You don't get flat salty basic pizza like you do with other places. You get instead a unique blend of flavors and toppings that make it truly memorable. Whenever I have guests from out of town I make sure to order from here. I recently brought my boyfriend here who is from Utah and he said this was the best pizza in LA too. Love Hello Pizza!
