Seriously we have eaten at a ton of sushi spots this one has our hearts. The entire wait staff was amazing checked on us every time they passed. and they were so freakin nice, The food was great. When we told them the little ones probably won't eat sushi they offered some bomb chicken nuggets and even told us maybe order a little extra all you can eat so they can try it. That right there made it for us we have literally left restaurants because we came in with six people and if we all didn't order all u can eat none could order. Super good sushi... When they told me it was "all you can eat", I had my doubts. But I gave it a shot. You order the sushi, and the sushi chefs make it for you fresh. I liked that. The price I believe is a good one for the sushi. Plus, the service is good. The owner is usually there, he is super cool and friendly just like the rest of the staff. But the food is good, they also have their own house sake, which is good. I would recommend it. My favorite rolls are the heart attack (spicy), and the tempura spicy tuna. read more

My husband and I decided to take our young kids here early before the dinner rush. They love sushi but are pretty young, so they don't do well with waiting too long. The place was pretty dead when we arrived so it was perfect...Or so we thought. It took a long time for anyone to acknowledge our existence. We decided to do AYCE, and ordered about 3 rolls, sashimi, a small app, salad, and miso soup for the first round. They brought out soup and the little app. Then a long time later, one roll. There were only two other couples at the restaurant soooooo.... then after what felt like FOREVER, the server brought over our paper and asked if we wanted anything else. Uhhhhh yeah, the rest of our order would be nice. Not to mention it was my kids rolls that didn't come out. Then they brought one more roll. They didn't pick up the second round for a very long time. It was ridiculous. If we weren't already paying the AYCE price, we would have just left. My kids were pretty restless. They never refilled any of our drinks. My ice tea didn't even have ice. I have never had such horrible service. It was bizarre. The rolls were edible but nothing to write home about. This was our first time here and it was definitely our last. Boooooo read more

I would recommend this place to friends. Sushi rolls are fantastic...just be sure to let the chefs know to go easy on the unagi sauce.

This place is great. I keep going back. I haven't had any bad food or service yet. The sushi is fresh and prepared well. The edamame has always been fresh and succulent. The staff is attentive and polite. I really enjoy taking my GF here. I am super glad I found this place. They don't have a fancy storefront and you would never know about this hidden jewel unless someone from the area turned you on to it. I really feel that this place is a total bargain. The bento box is gone and some items are lunch only or dinner only and its frustrating. The place has changed a lot and the menu has so many restrictions. I used to come here a lot but it just isn't the same anymore. The rice paper rooms are damaged with rips, holes, tears everywhere and it's super duper dusty inside. I also found dried rice on the floor in the rooms and it was unappetizing. The service while I was there was horrid. I waited in the room for a long time before anyone even came to get our drink order. I felt like they were serving the tables before us. Relentless, I decided to give this place another shot and sat at the sushi bar with my friends. While I was eating I heard the chefs (the owners!) calling the customers "fatties" in Korean and laughing / cussing. I've never felt so shocked at a restaurant in my life. So overall: service: BAD. We waited over an hour for our food. We had to continually leave our room and call a waitress for refills. When we got our rolls (we had all you can eat) the waitress had no idea what rolls they were and just laughed it off. food: Was actually alright. Their salmon sushi is amazing. Their rolls look very appealing. Sushi was good but kitchen food was so-so. Mainly, the appetizers took so long to come out. We even forgot about it then got it after we were done eating our first round. ambiance: Music was really loud. Hello Sushi has a great atmosphere and is excellent for large groups. They can accommodate with separate checks which is pretty rare these days. I love the complimentary miso soup which was exactly what I needed on the stormy day i went there. The staff was friendly and they even have space for private parties.
