We flew in this morning from Hawaii to see the Stray Kids concert and low and behold a kpop pop up (not Stay). We easily found street parking. Super cute, small, warehouse-y type place with several vendors. Purchased a few items.

It's always so much fun here. The best Kpop playground and amazing staff. When I go I live to stay and buy from the market, shop and enjoy popups

I want action to be taken care of this girl she was a problem

There was a fan me for girls set. It was very unorganized. The staff really did not care and someone of the staff end up coming out when someone who was a fan made their own fan line. They end up coming out and making it more messy than I should've. And she basically told everybody that was already in a line off property with the manager told us to get off property and we listen and we made our own fan line and the person that works here came out and basically told everybody in line going by section and section Telling everybody that our line doesn't mean nothing and whoever gets there is basically first in line and basically is free-for-all whoever gets in gets out and I made more of a mess when the manager should've allowed the fans to have their own online that we made to help them out, but they didn't want to And they made it worse for other people who been there at four in the morning lose their place because they told people is basically free-for-all and it's not right and I'm gonna be posting a picture of the lady who started it and hopefully she gets accountability. What she did was wrong And get something solved because she was the one who started all this and I really had a bad experience at hello 82 and I'm trying to give everybody a heads up for next events. Just be careful with the staff. I really didn't have a good time. Just be careful with the staff because they really don't care.

The service was great. The selection was limited, but he ace what I was looking for purchase. The value was pricey for my budget.

a few months late, but manager Keeho was very friendly and gave me and my friends OUTSTANDING customer service. the other 5 workers there that day were also super cute and friendly. the manager said they're from some nugu group called p1harmony and they only have 5 monthly listeners on spotify, and are only working retail to make ends meet. please support them juseyo.

i come to hello82 a few times a month for various kpop related events or just shopping with friends. all the employees are super helpful and they always have a unique selection of items. i highly recommend especially if you're an ateez fan (they often have signed albums and unique merch that is not easy to find elsewhere)

    Inside is nicely remodeled

What a gem!! Opened for 50+ years…read more. Walked past this place on Sunday and had to stop in from seeing through the windows the floor to ceiling filled shelf's full of records.. As soon I walked in the owner said hello welcome, what type of music do you like? I replied a little bit of everything, he then replied what's that supposed to mean? He said give me an artist or genre I said ok do you have jazz or blues, he then replied saying he had over 2k records in just jazz alone.. I settled on asking if he had any Al Bowlly, he said yes I have Al Bowlly.. He walked down one of the aisles and called down the hallway to someone.. All of the sudden a frail old man came out, the owner said can you get down the Al Bowlly records, the old man sighs ok, the owner in return gave him a ladder, which the old man un folded and struggled to push it down the aisle, he climbed up to almost the top of the ladder looking through the albums un able to find any records, after struggling the owner comes over and said here let me help you!! The old man climbs back down the ladder and the owner pulls the ladder further down the aisle and says here this is where they are, the old man climbs back up to the top and finally finds the records and struggles to start pulling the records off the top shelf handing them to the owner.. I would say he took down maybe 20 or so records I found one I was looking for paid 25 bucks for it and was on my way.. The record by the way is in amazing condition almost new.. If you are looking for a specific record I definitely suggest coming here.. The owner is very knowledgeable.. I can see where he would come off rude, he wants people who know what they are looking for..

Charmingly horrific :)…read more There is, tucked along Melrose, a particular kind of cultural artifact no pressing plant could replicate: the curmudgeonly record dealer whose temperament has aged less gracefully than his inventory. My visit to The Record Collector felt less like retail and more like an immersive study in ego and taste. The proprietor--swift, encyclopedic, and unmistakably unimpressed--retrieved selections with impressive precision, only to bristle at the modern instinct to verify via Spotify. Browsing, it seems, is no longer browsing unless it ends in immediate, unquestioned purchase--hesitation being the ultimate offense. "Move. Come back when you're ready," is delivered less as guidance and more as doctrine. And yet, there is something perversely compelling about it. A former saxophonist by his own account, he carries the air of someone who has distilled years of proximity to greatness into a rigid philosophy: taste must be instinctual, decisive, and efficient. The warmth is absent, but the character is undeniable. In an age of frictionless politeness, The Record Collector offers resistance--less a store than a fully realized persona. Not recommendable in the conventional sense, but as a study in human texture, undeniably... collectible.

I love popping into these signings! They are not very expensive and it's a cool way to interact with celebrities that have recently put out a book. Even if you can't make a signing, they often have signed copies following an event for sale on the first floor of the shop near the displays in front. The toy section of this location will make your jaw drop. I was shocked they had such a huge selections of various types of toys but rest assured if you need a non-book gift for a child, you can find one here. Staff has always been friendly! The store is always incredibly organized and clean. They have everything you could possibly want in a mega-bookstore here. Did I mention they even have a cafe that serves Kraft Macaroni & Cheese? Let us have our moment, especially when it's an event with low attendance. Maybe save the rudeness (or unnecessarily strictness) for bigger events? That extra 5 seconds would've made my experience really special and positive. Unfortunately, she's a Karen. Please stop having her take our photo ops IF she's just going to hover, interrupt, and be rude to paying customers. I miss Rachael (the previous Events Manager) and even her predecessor! They were never rude to me and were always understanding and considerate. Thanks for tainting my memory from the event today and ruining my whole experience! You look like you would be a nice person, but you're absolutely not. Please don't taint the B&N brand and just try to be a kinder and empathetic person! B&N, please stop hiring (or training) mean girls! Also, the brunette book seller is also nasty. I had a terrible experience with her at another event. Those two ladies deserve each other. I should be calling out their rudeness in front of the talent, but I don't wanna embarrass them. Shame on them!

Outstanding Service and Support at Ahead Stereo…read more I purchased my McIntosh turntable from Ahead Stereo and recently ran into an issue with my stylus. I reached out to Brian, and he immediately went above and beyond--contacting McIntosh on my behalf, walking me through the options, and ultimately helping me get back up and running. What stood out most wasn't just the solution, but the care and integrity Brian showed throughout the process. He didn't treat me like just another transaction, he treated me like a valued customer. That kind of support is rare, and it's exactly why I'll keep coming back to Ahead Stereo. If you're into high-end audio and want a dealer who stands by their customers, this is the place. Highly recommend.

Today during my visit to ahead stereo I was looking for an education in creating a future home stereo system, I'm not up to date on all the options, but have a general idea of what I'm trying to achieve. These folks seemed interested in selling me a consultation for a couple hundred dollars rather than trust helping me and winning my trust, it seemed they were concerned if the helped me understand what would be a good solution I would leave the store and buy online. That was not the plan and once I figure out what I'm looking for I'll probably be back to buy local, as I'm a big supporter of that concept. My suggestion in the future is customer comes first, build the trust and loyalty will follow.
