The person that helped me initially was so kind and answered all of my questions - no judgment. It can be scary leaving your pet at a resort for the first time. My vet hospital recommended this place - as their dogs stay here. We were out of state for a few days and they posted our girl on Instagram, and man the joy in her face! It was great to see her while we were away. She was a happy girl here, and a happy girl back at home. Been meaning to make a review to thank the lovely people here for taking such great care of her. Also a plus - the price for the space and even swimming and grooming was super reasonable. In this economy, this did not hurt my wallet. Would 100/10 recommend this place to anyone.

5 Stars - Above and Beyond in Every Way…read more After almost two years of not being able to take my cat to a groomer, I was honestly starting to lose hope. I searched everywhere and no one would take her -- she's extremely difficult to work with, and most places wouldn't even consider it. I was finally referred to Upland Pet Grooming, and let me just say... this was hands down one of the best decisions I've ever made. Rebecca, the owner, was incredible from the very first call. She was friendly, patient, and genuinely understanding. She let me fully explain my situation and my cat's behavior without cutting me off or rushing me. She actually listened, explained my options clearly, and made me feel comfortable and confident leaving my cat in her care. The results? They delivered 150% better than I ever anticipated. On top of that, there was a mix-up on my end with pickup time -- completely my mistake -- and instead of making it an issue, they went above and beyond and personally dropped my cat off at my house at 6:30 PM. Who does that nowadays? I am beyond grateful for Rebecca and her team. If you have a difficult pet, have been turned away elsewhere, or just want a groomer who truly cares -- this is the place. Service was quick and effective. We evaluated the results and sent her back in for one more little trim. It was exactly the perfect cut! So good we came back for a second cut eight weeks later. Another perfect cut! She was careful with my dog's sensitive skin and made sure the ears were tidy too. The groomer is soft-spoken but a good listener. She asked all the questions she needed answered. I feel like we have good communication and my dog is well taken care of. And my dog doesn't tremble when we go in, which is a nice change so she must not hate it as much as some of the other places she's been to.

I will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN…read more I took my maltipoo last week. I took her here maybe once before years ago. This is not my normal groomer. My dog just went to the vet for a physical exam just hours before and there were no issues. She is an indoor dog & does not socialize with any other dogs. She has never had an open wound, nor any incident with any other groomer in her life (5 years). My dog came home with cuts on her legs and face and I just found another on her ear this morning (it was masked by hair). I contacted the company and the groomer said the scab on her legs must have got caught on the clippers. She also said she doesn't like being cut on her face. I do not believe either of these statements. She has never had issue at any other groomer. My main complaint is that none of these were mentioned to me when I picked her up. It was only said after I called and told them what I found. The owner did contact me and apologize and offered to refund half the grooming price. I do appreciate that. However, Now that I found another cut on her ear, I'm honestly even more upset. There is no way that she went in there with all these cuts without my knowledge and without a licensed vet noticing them. She didn't because those cuts weren't there prior to her grooming, although the groomer claims they were. I should've have requested a full refund and medical care/products. Although I did receive an apology after contacting them, it doesn't negate this fact this shouldn't have ever happened. Now I have to spend money tend to her wounds medically and don't know what to do since this has never happened before. I'm just very irritated with the whole situation and hope I don't find any more cuts.

I do not recommend this vet. I've had multiple experiences here that left me feeling frustrated and…read morehonestly taken advantage of as a pet owner. Most recently, I brought my cat in for an eye issue and was quoted over $600 for an exam, sedation, tests, and medication. The price immediately felt extremely high, especially for an eye infection, so I decided to call another veterinary clinic to compare. The other clinic examined both of my cat's eyes, and the total cost came out to under $120 including medication. They also determined that sedation was not necessary at all. My cat was calm, friendly, and even purring during the exam, which made me question why sedation was being pushed so strongly at the first clinic. This clinic does not allow pet owners to accompany their animals due to "safety protocols," so it left me wondering how my cat was being handled during the visit. Another frustrating part of the experience is that you don't actually speak directly with the doctor. All communication goes through the technician, who goes back and forth between you and the doctor. As a pet owner, I would much rather speak directly with the veterinarian responsible for my pet's care, instead of receiving information through a middle person. At the other clinic, the doctor was with me during the entire exam, explaining everything step by step, which felt much more transparent and reassuring. What also shocked me was that they mentioned charging a fee for each CPR attempt in case of an emergency. As a worried pet owner, hearing about additional charges like that felt extremely discouraging and overwhelming. Isn't the priority supposed to be protecting the life of the animal under their care? This unfortunately isn't my first bad experience here. During a previous visit, my cat needed a cast. After the procedure, she was still sedated and very sleepy, and the cast fell off immediately after we got home. She had barely moved, so it clearly wasn't my fault or my cat's fault. I called the clinic hoping they would fix it since it appeared to be an issue with how the cast was applied, but they charged me again to redo it. At the time I didn't push for a refund because my cat's wellbeing came first. Looking back now after this second experience, I truly feel I deserve a refund for that cast, since the issue was not caused by anything I did or by my cat. I do want to say that the front desk staff have always been kind and supportive, and I appreciate them. However, overall my experiences with this clinic have been very disappointing. I care deeply about my cat and want a veterinary office that is honest, transparent, and focused on the animal's wellbeing, not adding unnecessary services that dramatically increase the bill. There are other veterinary clinics in the area that provide great care without making pet owners feel this way. I strongly encourage others to seek a second opinion before committing to treatment here.

It makes bath time simple and stress-free. I'm very picky about who takes care of my dogs, and I've always felt comfortable here. My little one gets haircuts here and they've done a fantastic job every time. I also really appreciate that there are no cages, so dogs don't feel trapped or stressed. In the front, there's a TV where you can sit and watch your dog being groomed if you want.
