No because how is this place not reviewed 5/5? Incredible food with quality fish. No notes. Worth the all you can eat prices. The sushi are basically nigiri pieces that have a large fish portion. The specials are so unique. Beautiful romantic date night vibes inside. Also great for a girls night out. Quick seating. Friendliest top tier servers.

AYCE Sushi, their blue fin tuna is the best fish they have here. Recommended dishes: -anything blue fin tuna -salmon and tuna poke -yuzu yellowtail Logistics: -accepts RSVP -accepts cc -limited free street parking but they do have a parking valet

Came to Here Fishy Fishy around 1 AM and we were literally the only ones there, which made the experience even better. They offer AYCE and for $80 total for two people ($40 each), it was honestly so worth it. The fish was super fresh; you can really taste the quality. The nigiri had that clean, buttery texture and didn't have any fishy aftertaste at all. Each piece was well-proportioned with just the right balance of rice to fish. We ordered so many nigiris and rolls and everything kept coming out fresh. The rolls were really yummy too; packed with flavor, not overloaded with rice, and the ingredients tasted crisp and well-prepared. Nothing felt sloppy or rushed. The ambiance was really nice! It was well-lit, clean, and had a cozy late-night vibe. Even though it was 1 AM, everything felt bright and welcoming. The service was amazing. They were quick, attentive, and kept checking on us without being overbearing. They refilled our waters twice without us even asking and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. Overall, such a solid late-night sushi spot. Fresh fish, good portions, great service, and totally worth the price for AYCE. Definitely coming back.

We stopped by here after a pop up event next door. Sadly we were too full to go for the AYCE option but I hope to come back soon to try that. We instead opted for a la carte and were so happy with the rolls we picked. My favorite roll was the White Lady - I just love the taste and aroma of a freshly seared roll! Definitely can't wait to try their AYCE option next time.

Arrived at 7:30 on a Friday and had dinner with a childhood friend and we had a blast. She's a regular here and mentioned she comes often for her family dinner nights. As an all you can eat offering as generous as the one here, I understand why! The menu is packed with tons of great options! As a girl who shys away from rolls and sticks to nigiri and sashimi, I was really impressed with the quality of all the fish I had. Naturally, the raw salmon sashimi was my favorite! The best part about us both getting all you can eat I was introducing my friend to the raw stuff. She normally orders the rolls and cooked items, but it was great getting her out of her comfort zone. I'm sure she will pass her new found raw nigiri knowledge over to her family. I also loved she screaming orgasm and toro! Cute little night out with my friend! I'm sure I'll be back again very soon.

This is my go-to spot for all-you-can-eat sushi because of the great quality and wide variety of options. But the reason I wanted to leave a review this time isn't just about the food. On Wednesday, I accidentally left my USB at the restaurant. At first, when I called, the staff couldn't find it. I tried again later, and one of the employees told me they had found it and kept it safe for me. I was so relieved, that USB had all of my wedding photos on it, and if I had lost it, I don't know what I would have done. I'm extremely grateful for the staff's honesty and kindness. Because of this experience, I'll definitely keep coming back even more often.

Decided to come for late dinner around 10:30pm for AYCE. We opted for the "late night special" which is AYCE for lunch price at $40/pp. you just don't get to order anything off the special menu, which we didn't mind. The special menu also limits you to 1 piece per menu item person so if you're only a fan of a couple things on there, it's not worth it imo. We ordered a bunchhhhhhh of stuff and majority was pretty bomb. I was pleasantly surprised! I love how they put the smallest amount of rice on their nigiri, that alone separates them from most AYCE spots. Whatever they put on their garlic edamame is really delicious! And very addicting! Everything we ordered was good, no complaints! Theres a parking lot as well which is super convenient for ktown. I'd def go back!

We came here for a girls dinner and it was very cute. The ambiance inside is so fun and dimly lit with adorable neon signs. They do play K-pop music videos on their tv's. We ordered a sushi boat and it was delicious. They cut the fish nice and thick and everything was fresh. I am aware that they offer AYCE sushi and it varies in price depending on what time of the day it is. Check the website for more info.

After attending a pop up event right next door, we stopped by here for a quick dinner before driving home. They had some pretty unique rolls and we ended up getting three to share. My favorite of the three was the boom boom roll. Next time we will definitely check out their AYCE option!

Food 8.5/10 Service 10/10 very on point quick and attentive Ambiance 10/10 The first time I tried this place was when it hd just opened and it wasn't it for me but today they definitely redeemed themselves. Would come back here if I'm in the area.

I wanna start by saying I'd give this place 4.5 stars if I could, because I think this is the best AYCE sushi spot in LA. It beats out Aikan, Hikari, Neo...you get the point. The quality is pretty solid, especially for AYCE, and the variety can't be beat. At $54.99 per person, you may be spending 5-10 dollars more than other places, but you're absolutely getting the best value AND they're open til 2 am. My partner and I came here on a Tuesday night around 9 pm. The place is cute, with pinky-purple neon signs with Instagrammable quotes like "feed me sushi and tell me I'm pretty." We were seated immediately, and the waiter was super prompt and friendly with anything we needed. We started by trying all of the premium "one per person" options and then branched out to other stuff on the menu. Our favorite bites off the specials were the Awabi--seared abalone with kizami wasabi that just oozes buttery charred goodness in your mouth, Harasu--salmon belly with kizami wasabi, Hotate--jumbo scallop served on a cucumber slice with kizami wasabi and smelt eggs, and of course, both expressions of their Toro. Honorable mention for their Hirame, as well. Some appetizer standouts are the tako wasabi (SO good, please try it!) and their skewers! We love the bacon scallop skewer and the bacon asparagus skewer. I'd pass on their takoyaki. On their regular menu, we loved the garlic bluefin tuna and the garlic salmon (something about that garlic sauce is crack). We also loved the yuzu yellowtail, unagi, snapper, and the MACKEREL!!! To be honest, their non-sauced tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and albacore were all mid, but the rest of the pieces we mentioned make up for it. We don't really order rolls, so we can't speak to that. Next time, I'd be very curious to try more of their Korean dishes, because we tried their bulgogi yubu and it was quite tasty! This was our second time here, and it was so much fun to continue exploring the menu. We outlasted two other tables that came in after us, and made full use of their 90 minute time limit. The way I see it: sometimes you want to have delicious, traditional, masterfully crafted sushi. And sometimes you want to shove as much pretty-decent sushi as you possibly can into your face. Here Fishy Fishy is there for when you want the latter.

Is this AYCE ok with removing cream cheese from a roll if I don't want it?

yes you may remove the cream cheese if you don't like. you will able to remove stuff but adding items that it doesn't originally have will cost extra ! (:

    Whats the dress attire? Casual?

    Casual

I'd read that some premium items like uni or oysters are not included in AYCE during lunch? Is that still true since they're only open weekend lunch now? And if so which items?

    Is this place kid friendly?

Hi Chery, Thanks for asking. Yes, there is no dangerous points for kids but we sell alcohol. So, I recommend you to bring your kids in lunch time to enjoy the best sushi AYCE!

I love sushi and sashimi but my hubby doesn't like raw fish. He only eats grilled fish or fried fish. Can we order one person for AYCE and him for appetizers like skewers n udon? If not, I won't visit. No intention to save $. Want to enjoy both

From my experience with AYCE at this and other places, either everyone at your table or no one gets AYCE Sushi. They don't want to have to monitor if the others are sneaking bites of sushi. There are cooked options for sushi.

Is it true that there is no fresh fish for AYCE now? So there is not uni or fresh fish sushi or roll too? A recent review seems to indicate it is not the same as the video blogs people have posted of this AYCE special. The menu online current then?

Hi that is not true! There is fresh fish, sushi and uni everyday; toro, salmon belly, oysters & etc. Everything in the menu is included in AYCE except for sashimi and drinks. Sushi, nigiri, rolls appetizers etc. are included in AYCE. Hope this… Read more

Hello do you offer brown rice with your sushi?

Do you HAVE to order AYCE? Or can you order single rolls?

There's single rolls and sashimi. I actually would recommend a lot of the fried stuff or anything that leans heavily on sauce.

Can you accommodate reservation for 20? I tried making a reservation via Yelp and it caps me at 10.

Hi Lou, yes we do accommodate for larger parties. Please give us a call to reserve and we will happily do so for you!

How much is AyCE for lunch?

    39.50

Hello, do you offer outdoor dining?

Yes we do have outdoor dining.

Does this place accept reservations? I called the number on Yelp and it wasn't working.

Yes, you can make a reservation through Yelp.

From even before you walk in the door, you are treated with such personable service - with a short form you fill out with your details and text confirming your allergy details, to your meal itself, which is in a realm of its own, to the Polaroid/Instax picture they take of your party at the end of the meal, to Chef Niki personally thanking every table and wishing my starstruck husband a happy birthday to receiving a handwritten note in the mail a few weeks later from Chef Niki wishing my husband a happy birthday and thanking us for celebrating with them. We have been lucky enough to dine at 1,2 & 3 Star Michelin restaurants around the world and none ever felt close to this level of service. On to the food - while I can't describe every dish because my memory does not serve me, I remember each bite was absolutely delicious. Most of the time in multi-course meals, there's one or two dishes that make me scratch my head and wonder if my palate is just basic and unrefined if I don't enjoy it, but I didn't feel that in any way here. I enjoyed every single course and walked away satisfied and wanting to return to n/naka for the next season's course.

It was busy inside but still got seated without waiting. Insane quality of fish not one single item I ordered had an off taste. The fast that my spicy mayo and ponzu was full when I left goes to show how insanely well they prepared the food sauce wise. Overall great place I will be back to try more things for sure. All this food double the salmon roe and scallop sushi because it was that good I had to go for round 2 but all this for 80$ was insaneeeee!!!!! And of course leave tip lol. For sure coming back!

We had an rsvp but wasn't busy when we arrived. Was sat immediately and served water. They have a pretty extensive menu of most things you'd find at a sushi cut roll spot. We ended up ordering the toro garlic toast, veggie tempura, ginza roll, and several pieces of nigiri sushi. The toro garlic toast was pretty good - sort of like a spicy tuna crispy rice situation ... but a little fattier and more garlicky than crispy. The ginza roll was pretty good too - a lot of fish in the roll and wasn't overwhelming with too much sauce. The tempura was good too- not super oily and all your typical veg involved. The nigiri sushi were pretty well prepared. The size was pretty good for the price - and each were accompanied by a small garnish on top or a little bit of sauce brushed on. All in all - I wouldn't say it's a date night place, but is a good easy eats sushi spot for rolls and nigiri for the price. Would recommend!
