This is a nice unassuming spot tucked away in Koreatown on the second level of a small sort of mall. I thought the sashimi was super fresh and delicious. The pieces melted in my mouth. The rolls were good but I didn't love any of them. I think if you go stick to ordering more of the traditional sushi here, it's better and more worthwhile.

Amazing staff and selection. Highly recommend the chefs choice which comes with a 7 piece sashimi and miso soup + salads for only $30. Such a hidden gym!

Loved this place. Ordered the pictured Chef's Choice assorted sushi. $30 and it came with everything pictured. High quality fish, a filling amount of food... will definitely be back for this, and to try the rest of the menu.

The ambience is lovely. The Korean decor is tasteful and elegant. Service is friendly and helpful, including an explanation of side items that might be unfamiliar. I'm hesitant to complain about the food. We shared a Chirashi Sushi and a Seaweed Salad. Both were generous in portion and plated beautifully. Although I eat sweets, I am not a fan of savory foods that are overly sweet. This is a personal preference.

My first time at Sushi Hana and I love how lowkey and cozy this spot is! You'll also get a nice street view of Wilshire. Parking is free with validation which is a plus for Koreatown! Service is super friendly and attentive, the staff made to consistently check on us and bring out our food! I had the Premium Omakase Set and it came with so many different dishes! The fish quality is amazing here, the toro uni bowl, sashimi, and nigiri were my favorite. So if you're feeling some high quality sushi and splurging a little, this may be the spot for you!

This place was a pleasant surprise. They have free validation for parking and the ambiance is really nice. It's very cozy and have nice large windows to view LA. The decor is upscale, and is a really good choice for a nice date. Service was really good. I'm most impressed with the food. The food presentation and the quality of the food is beyond my expectations. Not only does the food look like artwork, they taste just as delicious. The fishes are so fresh with a lot of marble pattern and they glisten. They melt in your mouth like Wagu. I also really like their uni cream udon. This was actually my first time trying uni and this dish got so much umami flavor. The udon was also super chewy. Everything was perfect. I also enjoy their free sides that helps cut through some of the rich flavors of the food. If you're looking for a good dinner date, this is a good choice.

The food is delicious! So fresh! And the restaurant is so cute and clean! We have gone a few times to try different things! My favorite is the uniudon pasta. The sashimi platter is huge! The portions of fish are nice and thick! I also like how nice the dishes were presented

Stopped by Sushi Hana in Koreatown for their grand opening, and everything was so fresh and delicious! We started with appetizers -- the chicken karaage, tempura, and soba noodles were all light, crispy, and flavorful. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, and the haedupbap (mixed sashimi rice bowl) was the perfect balance of textures and flavor. You can really tell the chefs care about quality here. The restaurant itself feels clean and modern, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Definitely a new K-Town sushi spot worth checking out!

The food was really, really good! We ordered the Orange blossom and the Red Velvet Crunch sushi rolls, both of which were very good and fresh. Shishito peppers made for a good appetizer. The sushi rolls had a good kick to them, which we enjoyed (my friend and I both like spicy food). Their complimentary barley tea was also very good. I would definitely come back here again! Also the restaurant looks very clean and aesthetically pleasing. They are located on the second floor of the building, and they can validate three hours of parking in the parking garage. My friend and I came on a Friday night around 6:30PM. There was no wait. Food was served relatively quickly (around 10 minutes after we ordered).

Currently dreaming of being in sushi heaven at @sushihanala . The newest sushi restaurant in Koreatown offers some of the most high quality cuts of sushi that I've ever had, at very reasonable prices! Every dish we ordered consisted of immaculately cut and incredibly fresh sashimi, and other than the tuna sashimi cut in the Chef's combo that was still frozen, there was literally no cut of fish that I disliked (which is super rare considering how picky I am with my sushi). I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu, and I HIGHLY recommend checking them out for an elevated sushi experience that will satisfy even the pickiest sushi eater, without breaking the bank! Featured here: tuna and Uni carpaccio ($26): premium bluefin toro topped with uni, truffle ponzu, and caviar Kama toro sashimi ($80): tasting set consisting of some of the rarest parts of the tuna Chef's Choice Assorted Sashimi and Sushi ($42): Chef's choice 6 pcs assorted sushi, 6 pcs assorted sashimi, hana maki 2pcs, hand roll, udon noodle soup Note: validated parking in plaza parking (shared with Aroma Golf Range and Pharoah Karaoke)

This restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the Aroma building, they also have validated parking which is definitely a big plus in Ktown. The sushi and sashimi at Sushi Hana are not only fresh and high-quality, but they are presented with incredible care and artistry. It's a nice hidden gem spot for great seafood, and service is very friendly as well!

8/2/2025 - This is a newly opened Sushi restaurant with a great ambience and a few private dining rooms. We ordered a Sashimi Omakase menu at $80 (See the menu for details) The entire Omakase dishes are excellent except Chawanmushi that is too dry on eggs. Note: The restaurant runs out of the "house desert" tonight. Overall, the $80 Omakase delivered the 5-star presentation, fresh raw fishes and taste, which you may not find in downtown Los Angeles at this price!

This is not your average K-Town sushi spot. Hidden on the second floor of the Aroma Center in K-Town, Sushi Hana is a full-on high end sushi destination, and yes, it completely lives up to the hype. Forget everything you think you know about K-Town dining this is premium. Chic, sleek, intimate... perfect for date night or when you're in your serious foodie era. Don't let the location fool you this is elite sushi territory. Now let's get into the food, because wow. We went with the Omakase Light Set, and it was an absolute feast. Creamy mushrooms, silky chawanmushi, miso eggplant, and perfectly crisp agedashi tofu all setting the stage for what comes next. Five pieces of sashimi. Ten pieces of premium sushi. Every bite insanely fresh, melt-in-your-mouth, and beautifully done. It's generous, stunning, and comes with assorted tempura and the Hana Maki. Truly top tier from start to finish. The service? Amazing. Attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel elevated without being stuffy. But listen the real star is the Uni Cream Udon. You have to get it. Thick, chewy udon noodles swimming in the richest, creamiest uni sauce, topped with fresh uni, bright roe, and nori. It's indulgent. It's luxurious. It's honestly one of those dishes you think about days later. We washed it all down with hot house sake, and it was perfection. If you're in LA, Sushi Hana is a must. Period.

Dashi was VERY good. Generous amount of grated daikon. Assort. Tempura: Saw this being served while waiting. Looked really good and it WAS! Large shiitake mushroom. Fan cut Japanese eggplant, kabocha pumpkin, shrimp tempura & two (2) shiso leaves. All VERY crisp not oily. Warm dashi side had deep umami rich flavor. Probably made the legit kombu & bonita flake method. #1 ordered the Miso carbonara: garlicky carbonara served with their signature house-rolled out udon. Wonderful dish. Portion sizes were adequate. #2 ordered the Uni carbonara: same garlicky carbonara with uni bits strewn about. Estimating one whole uni broken. This actually works for ease of eating. Plus, uni ranges in the $18/oz on the low end to $60 or more/oz on the higher end. Yes we love & appreciate their gonads. Udon noodles were chewy, bouncy & worth the wait. Yeah yeah....the dough is purchased. Not house made. But, seriously you've seen the YouTube videos of restaurants specializing in Japan? Yes there are places in LA who make their dough & roll it out. It's Hella lot of work! Yamachan produces large scale udon/ramen in San Jose. It's fine. Let them work out the dough to water ratio. Also portion size was decent since we shared a couple apps. The toro garlic toast was pretty good - sort of like a spicy tuna crispy rice situation ... but a little fattier and more garlicky than crispy. The ginza roll was pretty good too - a lot of fish in the roll and wasn't overwhelming with too much sauce. The tempura was good too- not super oily and all your typical veg involved. The nigiri sushi were pretty well prepared. The size was pretty good for the price - and each were accompanied by a small garnish on top or a little bit of sauce brushed on.
