only one time before had i used a dry cleaners... it was pretty scarry... relocated, and found this place by default bc i moved about a mile away... after just 2 times, the older son of this famliy owned estab knows my name.... and is always super fast and right on. ready next day, -with my large order, thats impressive- same day, they offer it, but I DONT USE IT ... once i turned in one on my bf's button-ups, i had mentioned that it was MY BF'S.. the guy had said that my boyfriend must be tall bc of the size of the shirt (HE'S OVER 6'3)... next time i needed my bf to pick up the clothes, & THE GUY already knew that my boyfriend was there for my stuff! i also drive By and see him helping women out to there car.... bc of my lack in experience with prev cleaners, idk if the prices are good or bad.... & i have since moved about 2.5 mi in the other direction... but i wont even look (NOT THAT IT WOULD be hard to find) ..... another cleaners.. I have been going to Heritage Cleaners for almost a year now and I love it. Great prices, friendly people and awesome service.

I got in at 9:30AM and told her this is my first time with them. She asked my phone number and i was thinking it was to look me up in the system for an existing customer. I told her again that this was my first time; and then she is visibly upset and furious and said "I still need it to create an account for you!" My bad, but there is no reason for her to be upset and reply to me the way she did...rudely. I was with my wife and she felt the same too. Imagine what can happen if this was late in the day!! It being the first time for us, we had a few more questions about other items we want to bring in for service, but with this kind of customer service we decided not to ask them and to take the business elsewhere. This is my favorite dry cleaner in the area. The people that work here are always so friendly and make you feel welcome. I also feel like their prices are cheaper than some others in the area. I've been coming here for almost a year and never have had any problems. They also did a great job fixing the hem on my work pants. I have a dry cleaner within walking distance from my house but I'll drive out of my way to come here. Love this place! read more

I am insanely picky when it comes to choosing a dry cleaner. I have been searching for a new place since my go-to retired. I tried several out near where I used to live and they were INSANELY EXPENSIVE. I have a dry cleaning addiction, yes. But it should be against the law to charge $20 bucks for a shirt. Anyway, Heritage is my new go-to and their prices are extremely reasonable. You also get a 10% discount if you send in more than $50 dollars worth of dry cleaning. They are quick and always do great work. The only time I had to send something back was when they did not get a stain out on my pashmina scarf. I sent it back three times (yes, I am very picky)...and they cheerfully accepted it each time and worked on it until it met my approval. Before my move, I used to drive 20-30 minutes just to go to Heritage. They also accommodate insane turnaround times on those rare occasions that I have to leave town quickly. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! First time customer, walked in and asked the nice front desk lady if I could have same-day service. She said they only do 2-3 day service. So then I asked if they could have it ready the next evening, so 36-hours. She went to ask the owner and she returned with a look that made me think the owner was really AWFUL to her. I will NEVER go to this place again. Too bad, it has so many great reviews. If you want 1-2 day service, DONT COME HERE!! You'd think the owner would take 10-seconds to come, say Hi, and explain to a new customer their system - NOT HERE! I would AVOID AT ALL COST if you want good service. :( read more

I got some dark brown office chair grease on my cashmere sweater sleeve (in case you were wondering, it looked like something that was not office chair grease). I brought it in the next day and the nice gentleman tried to clean a small section right there. He said he couldn't guarantee the stain would come out because it was grease. He recommended I try to use stain remover and soak it myself because "I don't want to charge you for something you can do yourself." I was so taken aback by his honesty! I thanked him for letting me know and asked that he try to clean it anyways. He responded "I will try my best." Laundry karma was on my side and the sweater came back PERFECT with no sign of the stain. Highly recommend and now I have a place to bring my suits as well. read more

I moved to the area and looked to Yelp for a good dry cleaners and I was lead to this dry cleaner. I see now why they are so highly rated on Yelp. They were very nice and the garment looked great when I picked it up. My daughter has an all white uniform for marching band that she got some stains on and when we dropped it off at the cleaners they said the stains might be too hard to get out but they will try their best. They exceeded our expectations. The stains were completely out and her uniform is ready to go for her competition this Saturday. The price was completely reasonable as well which is a bonus. My husbands dress shirts, suits, ties and my suits, dresses, skirts, coats, blouses are always perfectly pressed, hung and wrapped. I absolutely love the fact that they use an assortment of sturdy plastic clips to secure skirts, shirts, belts, etc. in place in lieu of safety pins or sewing pins so as not to damage my clothes. Their repairs (buttons, seams, hems, etc.) are so good I can't even tell where they were mended. I haven't used their alteration services but I have a petite coworker who brings her alterations here; she swears by them and you can't tell her clothes have ever been altered. Quick turn-around: Routine turn-around is typically 2-3 days at the most and they are always accommodating when I have come in with rush items, even during the Holidays. Convenient hours: For me, their hours are incredibly convenient. I am able to drop-off/pick-up both before and after work with their extended hours (7am-7pm). Their Saturday hours are a God-send, especially for those who travel or work extending weekday hours. After reading some reviews, I decided to give 'em a try & I asked for a first timer discount, which they kindly accepted. I originally tried this cleaner because My Favorite Cleaner was never my favorite & is always a mess with my pick up due dates, you name it! I brought a few big winter coats to heritage cleaners last week and they have definitely won my heart over! The customer service is amazing, both the guy and the girl that works there are super nice and informative. They are also very careful with your garments, I didn't know that one of my coats cannot be dry cleaned until the girl read the label and told me that they were do a different wash for it! I love this place and travel from Woodbury to come here because I have not found a suitable dry cleaners in Woodbury. (Meaning that I can't find a dry cleaners there that will, you know, actually clean my clothes...) This place is out of my way but I make the trek every week. They've thus far been able to clean absolutely everything I've brought to them, and at a much better price than the place close to me. They are super nice, and remembered me by name almost immediately. I also love that they will just straight up take credit card regardless of how big or small the total price. I never carry cash so it is a huge pain at some places when they won't take a card for under $10 or $20.
