So this is for the service department. My car had an automobile recall for a small part, a bushing. With supply line issues it took forward until this month to get the parts out. The moment I called, they got me set up within a week. Today I went in, at 7:50 in the morning, and then was shuttle, driven home by a wonderful gentleman( (but not before I grabbed a delicious cappuccino out of their machine) It took about a half a day as they had said, the repair was done, they checked out the car to make sure all is well, and my shuttle driver brought me back . Bought a brand new 26 F150. Had the whipple installed by dealer. Took it in for intercooler resi being empty. Tech filled it and ensured everything is perfectly running. I still questioned it. After further diagnosing I found out the ground cable intercooler pump for the supercharger was never connected. I made the repair myself. I've driven the truck for 1400 miles without the supercharger cooling. Hopefully no damages have occurred. I hope whipple reaches out to this dealer and have the techs retrained for installs. I guess the guys in service have a bad rep. Nunie has terrible customer service from day one has given me attitude. I will no longer purchase or take my vehicle to this dealer until things are made right. What I mean right is refunding me for the labor charges on the supercharger install since you failed to complete it. read more

1 star is too generous. Made an appointment to diagnose my check engine light. Very simple thing to do, takes a couple minutes. They quoted me $350. That would not even go towards the repair. I've had multiple bad experiences here with my 2022 Ford F250 unfortunately. For perspective, I am personally a career dealership technician and shop Forman with 20 years experience, I believe I know what it takes to do right by a customer. The service advisors I've dealt with seem trained to lie and deceit people. From the service department damaging my vehicle then blaming me for their poor workmanship and attempting to have me pay to replace parts, to the manager treating me poorly to the point he hung the phone up on me mid conversation because he didn't have answers for me nor did he want to make the situation right. So thank you, Rocky, for being kind & respectful to your customers. The other two have been there forever. Maybe that's why they're borderline rude. When I've been bringing my trucks to this dealership for service for 20 years & to be asked if I've ever been there before...seriously? Not that I'm their only customer, but 20 years....come on. (Again, thank you, Rocky, for at least recognizing me when I walk in) I was just getting an oil change/tire rotation so I waited for my truck. After about 1.25 hours I noticed my truck parked in the breezeway. Another 10 minutes goes by & no one is calling my name to the cashier...so I head over to the window. The cashier, cordial enough, informs me there's now a 3% charge for credit card transactions. Not that 3% is a big deal, but an extra $5 on top of Heritage Ford's already high prices... Sorry Heritage....your business practices have changed and it doesn't seem for the better. I've used different Ford dealerships for routine service & unforeseen issues that have popped up. One was just a little better than Heritage and the other blew them both out of the water for price and customer service. When i arrived i was brought inside they were telling me about how they had it and how the vehicle was a great deal, but when it came time for the test drive they switched up and said that they couldn't sell the vehicle to me due to a recall. Once that was said then the salesman immediately tried to sell me on more expensive options or ones that wouldn't meet my needs. These people use a good-priced vehicle to lure you in then try their hardest to sell you on something you didn't want or ask for. Now currently in May 2025 and still no word about the part being available and it's getting frustrating how I have to keep constantly calling to see when the part will be available and I get different answers every time . read more

This was my 3rd time buying a car and I am so glad that I came to Heritage Ford, as I've previously had upsetting experiences the first two times I bought a car. I've been searching on google for the last month on 2022 Big bend broncos and stumbled upon this dealership online. It didn't say they had any available online, however I utilized their customer chat and ended up getting connected to their online specialist, Natalie. Natalie and I had a brief phone call and advised that they had the exact model I was looking for on the lot! I scheduled my appointment for two hours later and came down from Escalon. I was greeted by Marcus when I arrived and he ended up being my salesman. Marcus was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and answered any questions I had during our test drive. As soon as we got back, I knew we had to work the numbers and see if I could walk off the lot with it. Marcus and his manager (I completely forgot his name, I apologize) came up to bat for me for the best rate they could find and I was very appreciative of their professionalism during negotiations. My HV battery on my 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid AWD was at 275 volts after the car sat for 3 weeks while I was on the South Fork Complex fires in the Shasta Trinity NF and Six Rivers NF. The HV battery requires 350 volts to start the car. I had it towed to Heritage Ford Modesto and I was back on the road the following day. They didn't wash my car, but I didn't mind because I have unlimited club at Mister Car Wash. They even gave me a discount for being a AAA member. Service advisor Omar Jimenez was super helpful and there's cool merch to shop for while you wait. I drove my car home to Oakdale after going through the car wash twice, the barber shop for a beard trim,(left it running while at the barber), and left it running when I got home. After ten minutes, the HV battery died while the vehicle was running and now I need a refurbished HV battery which costs $2900. By the way, Heritage Ford initially wanted to charge me nearly $600 to recover the HV battery. To save myself a $195 diagnosis fee, I informed Jimenez the car had already been diagnosed by my mechanic(that's how I knew the HV battery voltage). When I arrived to pick up my car, the bill was $390..to recover an HV battery. So to plug it in to a charger for 2 hours, $390. I asked for a AAA discount(showed my membership card) and Jimenez took 10% off. After a negotiation and 15 minutes, he lowered the bill to $251. I used to bring ambulances here when I had a union ambulance job, and when I went to pick one of them up after they "fixed" it, it broke down with the same issue we brought it in for after turning left onto Sisk Rd. The only reason I had my vehicle towed here and not to Haidlin Ford in Oakdale was because the Oakdale Ford does not have the HV battery recovery charger. This service department at Heritage Ford Modesto does not care about you, your car, or your situation. All they seem to care about is how much they can get away with charging you. I strongly advise anyone considering taking their vehicle here to consider a different shop, unless of course your just here for a free oil change. read more

I took my daughters 2022 Bronco in for oil change and tire rotation they didn't tighten the lug nuts and the tire fell off when I was getting on the freeway!! I had to wait 45 minutes for the tow truck to take me back to the dealership when I got back I told Nuni and Rocky that if it had been my 16 year old daughter that this would have happened to we would have had a bigger problem and that I should never have to pay for tire rotation again they agreed. It took them a month to get all the parts that where broken and I had to drive a rental because my daughter is to young to drive it. Today I took the Bronco in again for service and they want to charge me $60 to rotate tires! Don't trust them! They lie and do half ass work they will not keep their word! Bought a new car this weekend. Well new to me and I love it! Many years ago I went to this dealer and had a much different experience. I went in to test drive a car I did my research on but the sales guy couldn't answer half of my questions. Needless to say I went to another dealer and bought that car out of town. *NEW CAR PURCHASE* This review is solely based on my new car purchase and the internet sales dept not following up with me or keeping her word. As far as ARMANDO WHO SOLD ME MY VEHICLE WAS AMAZING. So let's start. Before I came to pick up vehicle after signing all paper work etc I contacted the internet sales manager to ask her if oil life was 100 percent and tires were rotated etc. I purchased vehicle as "BRAND NEW" however it had 4K miles on it due to being used within the company. So although it was slightly used they sold it to me as a brand new vehicle meaning everything should have been replaced new and up to date. I get vehicle and there is no washer fluid the light kept coming on and the oil life says it is at 55% so I am almost sure my tires haven't even been rotated either and the cabin and air filters aren't new. I reached out she said she would get right back to me and never did. Sucks. I guess I'll have to deal with it whenever I need to come in for service. read more

I recently was waiting along with my father to purchase a Ford Maverick. The ordering was being taken for 2023 model. So, I go into Heritage Ford to order one just shortly after the ordering bank opened. My father and I ordered a Hybrid Ford Maverick Lariat My father and I are loyal to Ford and I have owned two Ford Rangers and my father has owned two Ford F150s. My father, a disabled veteran, no longer drives, but I drive him as I moved him in with me. We were purchasing the truck together. So we go in and order the truck and do the build and all and get our order in before they close out the ordering bank. We are shown the price and we know there are tax and licenses to come, but that is the price. Now a few days later, Heritage Ford calls us and says they are not getting as many Ford Mavericks as they thought from Ford and in order to make money on them for the ones that they do have on order, they will raise the price to 3000 over MSRP. We are told Ford is not giving them as many as they thought and it is not their fault as they are just trying to make money to keep afloat. They tell me the dealers are marking them up 10,000 - 15,000 over MSRP. Excuse Me? You are getting MSRP on all of these and you still feel the need to go back on your word and raise the price after the order is in? You are making money off of MSRP as you never even used to get that on a car lot. Dealerships did this on the Bronco even raising prices just a few days before delivery of an order and now they are doing it with the Maverick and telling us it will be 3000 more and what is keep them from raising it again just before delivery of the order like dealerships did with the Bronco? This is highly unethical and gives Ford a really bad name. I know that Ford has had an issue with dealerships doing that with the Ford F-150 Lightning Electric as well. I am sorry to say this is highly unethical and I can't do business with a company that feels it is ok to do this especially to loyal customers. I went into the dealership and explained how unethical they were and ended up cancelling my order. I am not only not buying the Ford Maverick, but I am not buying a Ford ever again. The car i do have is working fine and I'll hold on to that. This dealership is making it look like Ford is doing this, but I think it is the dealerships doing it to Ford as there have been threats toward the dealerships from Ford on warning them for charging over MSRP on the Lightning, Maverick and some other vehicles. This may be why direct sales like Tesla may be the wave of the future and if dealerships are not careful, people may just start cutting out the middleman. I told him I would stay on site until the job was finished. I went outside to wait on the benches just outside the waiting area. Two hours later I inquired about the service. After the employee got off his cell phone and rolled his eyes, he told me that they had paged me twice. BS. If they did, their paging system is horrible. Also, after the second page someone should have gotten off their lazy butt to find me. Or, and I know this is radical, maybe call the cell phone number that you took when I checked in. After literal months of research and test drives, I found an attainable used dream car to shuttle me and my 6-year-old sidekick around in. Previously not on my radar before a co-worker suggested it, I started researching Ford Edges. I knew the price I was willing to pay and I knew what options I wouldn't live without. I also knew I would not be disowned by my parents for purchasing a foreign car (Bonus!). With these things in mind, I happened upon an incredibly clean 2014 Edge at Heritage Ford with all of the options I wanted the most - a moonroof (and it's panoramic!), Bluetooth, satellite radio, and navigation, the rest of the amazing options are just additional benefits in my mind (heated seats, black leather, a backup camera, touch button liftgate, etc.). The price point was at the high end of my budget, but I think I got a really good deal for such a clean, loaded, Ford Certified used vehicle with less than 25k miles. From the first time I walked onto the lot at Heritage Ford, I experienced a friendly sales staff that never gave me the creepy vibe that I was in the wrong place. The first test drive of my Edge was with Luis Rodriguez. He took my capricious humor like a champ and I immediately knew we were destined to become BFF's! While I kept my poker face on and pretended I was unaffected by my adoration for my future vehicle, I'm fairly sure Luis could have swayed me to purchase either way. Leaving Luis and my Edge, I headed home to sleep on my decision. Two days later, I brought in my sexy old soccer mom van on the off chance that I'd get a good trade-in deal. After hearing what I already assumed, that I was better off selling it on my own, I made the final decision to buy the Edge that night after work, but not before taking it on one more wild ride on the streets of Modesto, this time with Luis's partner in crime, Johnson Yadigar. While I don't think he appreciated my humor nearly as much as Luis did, by the end of the sale, I'm pretty sure Johnson also wanted to be my BFF. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Gary Ribeira in finance. Gary made signing my life away on paper feel less like someone was jabbing me in my eye with a rusty nail and more like I was catching up with an old friend who just reminded me I owed him twenty grand. The day after I brought my Edge home, I noticed a couple of small things that needed to be addressed - it was missing a floor mat and the weather stripping on both sides of the moonroof needed to be replaced. I reached out to Luis and he immediately went above and beyond to set me up with an appointment for the weather stripping replacement, while Johnson ordered me a new set of floor mats. When I dropped the Edge off for my service appointment, I was once again treated with great customer service and even utilized the convenient shuttle service to my office. This was the fourth car purchase of my life and the first one that I handled 100 percent on my own from beginning to end - a task that could easily make a woman feel taken advantage of or anxiety ridden. It was by far the most fun, smoothest and best experience so far. I can't say enough good things about the staff as a whole at Heritage Ford and I'm looking forward to catching up with my new besties when I get my FREE lifetime oil changes in the future! Coming off of my new car high and overwhelmed by the outstanding customer service from Luis, Johnson and Gary, I brought the sales staff in a big order of super authentic white people tacos (ie; Taco Bell). Walnut Creek Ford, Morgan Hill Ford, and South Bay Ford all sell cars at MSRP and all accept X plan pricing. I got mine off the lot at Walnut Creek for $1000 under MSRP due to X plan pricing. Never take your car in for service at Heritage Ford. Long story short... I have a recall letter from Ford for a TCM (transmission control module). I call to make an appointment for service, sure no problem bring it in they say next morning. At this point I'm happy but what a fool I was. They make you sign a "diagnostic" quote for $307.00 when they know exactly what is wrong with my car. It showed all the symptoms of a bad TCM. With great hesitation, I sign the paper. Get a bad feeling I'm going to get ripped off. After 6 hours, service dept. calls me only to say they will not replace the recalled TCM unit and that repairs to the transmission would be over $4000. I left with my car in the same condition as I came less $300 in my pocket. If you have a Fiesta, Focus or any other Ford product with a recall notice for TCM repairs, do NOT expect Heritage to fix it. After calling other dealers after the fact, I come to find out these TCM units have been out of stock across the country for several months. Heritage knows this yet, yet they still take your money for no service rendered. One star is the lowest here but they deserve less than that. read more
