I've been coming here regularly every summer and even chose it for my birthday dinner this year. Unfortunately, that will no longer be the case, and I won't be recommending this place going forward. I've never walked out of a restaurant due to service before, but this experience was unacceptable. We were greeted by an older waitress with a bob haircut and black-framed glasses whose demeanor was immediately hostile. Her tone, facial expressions, and overall communication were dismissive, belittling and disrespectful from the start. The interaction was so off-putting that our party of three decided to leave before even placing drink orders. When we informed her we would be leaving, she simply responded, "Ok," and walked away. First time at this pub. The place was packed. The menu is simple & small. Our waitress came to take our order we really were looking to get wings but they weren't on the menu. We started ordering burgers and I said to the waitress that I was surprised they didn't have any wings. She responded "we do, it's a special, I just didn't mention it". Duh... Didn't mention the specials??? The wings are done dry rub and on the grill. I asked her how many wings in an order and she didn't know. Duh... She motioned her hands apart and said about this size basket. Duh... Again. We ordered the wings and a side of potato salad. The wings came, 10 in an order, they were good. The potato salad never came. When we seen our waitress we told her but it was after the wings were gone and told her we didn't want the salad now. We asked if they had a fully stocked bar when we went in and the waitress said yes, however the barmaid couldn't make the basic old fashion or Martini. I realize it's a Brew Haus but if you have a full bar I would expect the bartender to know how to make more than just a gin & tonic or vodka & orange. The beer selection is extensive and my beer was very good. The check came and I paid it and reluctantly gave 18% which was overly reasonable considering the service and knowledge of her job. The beer selection is decent, though pretty repetitive on breweries. It didn't feature many from local breweries either. The food was really subpar. One person in our party for the prime rib, which came out practically bloody. When he asked for it to be cooked further, the server said, Oh yeah we start like that because there's no going back once it's cooked. She hadn't asked how they wanted the steak, but I guess assumed very rare? The Caesar salad was doused in Parmesan and the dressing was so heavy. Weirdest of all? We went for dinner on Sunday. The grilled chicken Caesar salad was delicious. The pulled chicken was horrendous. Absolutely dried out (see pic). The wait staff was friendly chatting to folks after the band was done. They all made a point to stop by and check on our table, so that was nice. I came here for the first time for dinner and it was amazing. The waitress was friendly, there was live music on the Saturday night. They had sports games playing on the tvs. The food was amazing, some of the best pulled pork I've ever had. As well as the macaroni salad was good. Cutest place ever. My girlfriend and I went for a drink and were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. The beer menu is extensive, which was appreciated, so we both got beer flights. The yard is spacious and both dog and kid friendly. We certainly will bring our dog back here in the future. The owner also has two dogs, both sweethearts. Not sure how often they're out to say hi, but we got to meet them and they were lovely. We did not order food, so we can't speak on that. read more

We worked with the owners of the Oneida Lake Brew Haus to set up a buffet dinner and drinks for a wedding rehearsal. We could not have been more pleased with the space, the decor they have and the amazing food and service from all the staff can not be topped. They set us up in the side of the building with all windows looking out to the lake with perfect views. The numerous taps made it easier for everyone in the wedding party to have their beverage of preference. The food that we had chose for the dinner options, came out exceptional, lots of rave and compliments about it from the whole dinner party. We are very thankful for everything. read more

So I have come here a few times and never been disappointed! If you like beers this place literally has a wall of craft beers on tap! Outdoor space and right on the lake. I went with my best friend me his mom, as she is like my 2nd mom! We all wanted red meat so burgers it was. So we ordered our burgers medium rare and although they were a little over cooked they were still delicious and not dry (as I avoid using moist) Mac n cheese was great, as always! This is a great Brew Haus. It has a wide variety of local beers on tap. It is NOT a great restaurant. The service and waitstaff were lovely, but the food was terrible. On par with cafeteria food. We got the steak and cheese sandwich and mac and cheese. The roll for the sandwich was a soggy mess. The brisket on the mac and cheese (which was lacking in cheese), was inedible. I did not have pictures of the food because it was not worth it at all .Had a baby and a group that received cold food and when ask if they could warm up the food that request was ignored so the baby and the group became very upset and was whiny and the co-owner did not care and the whole dining area where we were sitting a circus, so you would like to go here go here and get a beer and a pretzel and that's it. Do not get anything else because the food is either half cold have season have sauce or not cooked at all seem to be broiled or microwaved air fryer convection oven nothing was really grilled or smoked at all. The evening sun off of Oneida Lake looking west is worth a couple of stars alone. The staff is really congenial bunch...I suspect some of these folks were ex-Deadheads or Phish follower folk; kind of very laid back friendly. A very warm spot..beers run the gamut from the craft to the micro-swill (tasty swill though..) of Utica Club. The craft brew crowd can be a bit toody...a few of the swillys is a subtle way of telling the audience that everyone is welcome here. The food is adequate.. nothing extraordinary about the BBQ..but it's fine for soaking up the malty barley bevvie. A very good blues band was on the lakeside of the brewhouse when were there...and they were downright giddy and quite talented as well. What a great find...skip the rust bucket tacky depressing moldhole that is Sylvan Beach...this is a true gem of the Utica-Rome area. read more

Wow they did an amazing job remodeling the old Schneibles Inn! Cudos to the owners!! Gorgeous!! Great beer selection and they have flat screens that shows you the beers they have, prices and the level of the keg. Went to the Brew Haus tonight and only one server was wearing a mask over her mouth and nose, even the waiter busing food to the tables wasn't wearing a mask. I posted a comment to this effect and the owner came to our table and insisted that EVERYONE was wearing masks. She continued to yell at us in front of all the other diners and took her mask off to continue yelling, proving my point. Further she indicated that workers with asthma couldnt be expected to wear masks, in fact as vulnerable to covid that those with asthma are they especially should be wearing masks when serving food to customers. My post was immediately removed so not only is safety not an issue for them but neither is free speech. read more

Great selection of beers (they have a big board showing everything on tap and the current status of the keg) that made it tough to decide what to have! They do have food but the menu is very limited, hopefully it will expand soo n as we'd hoped to have dinner there but with only sliders, chips and meat/cheese plate to choose from we ended up elsewhere. Since it was their first day we are assuming the limited menu was to make sure the kitchen could keep up and am hoping for a bigger selection soon. read more

The place is very nice in appearance, let me say that. However, went to an outdoor concert and when I arrived they wanted a $5 cover. My understanding is that this was not disclosed on Facebook. Not a big deal for me, however, families showed up with kids and they wanted to charge them if they were over 12. This is not very cool. My wife wanted a taste of a $10 beer before ordering and was given a bit of an attitude because it was busy. They finally provided it however. Most of the staff is nice with the exception of one person. They have a beautiful location and facility, however, I am not likely going to return there. read more
