Pulled chicken. Dry as animal hide left in the desert sun for a week.

We went for dinner on Sunday. The grilled chicken Caesar salad was delicious. The pulled chicken was horrendous. Absolutely dried out (see pic). The wait staff was friendly chatting to folks after the band was done. They all made a point to stop by and check on our table, so that was nice. It's a nice place to have a drink and enjoy the lake view. The food, not so much.

I came here for the first time for dinner and it was amazing. The waitress was friendly, there was live music on the Saturday night. They had sports games playing on the tvs. The food was amazing, some of the best pulled pork I've ever had. As well as the macaroni salad was good. They make their own mac n cheese which looked great. The menu isn't huge but if you're in the mood for BBQ, this is the spot. I noticed a lot of beers on tap. I want to come back for Thursday wing night !

We worked with the owners of the Oneida Lake Brew Haus to set up a buffet dinner and drinks for a wedding rehearsal. We could not have been more pleased with the space, the decor they have and the amazing food and service from all the staff can not be topped. They set us up in the side of the building with all windows looking out to the lake with perfect views. The numerous taps made it easier for everyone in the wedding party to have their beverage of preference. The food that we had chose for the dinner options, came out exceptional, lots of rave and compliments about it from the whole dinner party. We are very thankful for everything.

Wow they did an amazing job remodeling the old Schneibles Inn! Cudos to the owners!! Gorgeous!! Great beer selection and they have flat screens that shows you the beers they have, prices and the level of the keg. Friendly staff, great view, great atmosphere, beautiful finishing, great food, great drinks, and reasonable prices...you can't go wrong!! Limited menu, huge beer list! Come here if you want to have a great time!!!

This is sylvan beach's best kept secret, quiet place on Oneida lake that can go from a great lunch spot. 32 DRAFT CRAFT BEERS. Or if you're in town closer to sunset be sure to check out the LIVE MUSIC and order yourself a PIG PEN. Pulled pork chicken and brisket on a bed of tortilla chips with their homemade beer cheese and corn black bean salsa. Couldn't say enough good things about this place or the people.

Any other time, if you are not a regular, this place might not be for you. I've been here several times with mixed experiences. The last time I was there was a Thursday in the summer of 2024. My husband, brother and I were excited to find seats at the bar and order dinner. The bartender was a short blonde woman and there was a male bar back. The bartender did not acknowledge us for over 15 minutes. We were actively looking at the menu on our phones and talking about what we wanted to try and attempted to make eye contact with her as she walked by us with no luck. She didn't even say "I will be right with you", literally no interaction. She was very friendly with everyone else around us seeming to know exactly what they were drinking and happy to get it for them. We left as we felt very unwelcome there and ended up having excellent service down the street at Lukin's.

We found this little gem and holy toledo did we we strike gold. First of all, the hostess was super nice and greeted us right away even though she was clearly busy and hustling. We chose to sit outside at a picnic table to soak up the beautiful weather. The outside is fun with brightly painted picnic tables and murals on the building. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered great suggestions. She was great and we really enjoyed interacting with her. We started with rum punches which were made with freshly squeezed juice and they were out of this world. We shared the "everything" wings which were crispy and that sauce was delicious. We were tempted to lick the sauce off the plate. We refrained so we didn't get strange looks. I had the Kimchi Reuben which is made with house made kimchi I might add. My husband got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. We both opted for Poutine Fries for our sides. Guys, this food was unique and spectacular. I'm just bummed it's 3 hours from home! But I'll definitely make an effort to be back.

From the exceptional beer and great food to the…read morevariety of activities and the stunning property, Brewery Ommegang is a destination that every beer lover should experience. If you're visiting the Cooperstown area or anywhere in upstate New York, this is an absolute must-see. We've been coming here for years, and every visit reminds us why it's one of our favorite breweries. The staff is always professional, friendly, and attentive, making the experience enjoyable from the moment you arrive. We live in Texas and were in Cooperstown for a baseball tournament, which gave us another excuse to stop by. I had enjoyed Ommegang's Belgian-style beers for years, but this visit gave me the opportunity to explore more of their lineup. I was impressed by the variety of styles available, and everything I sampled was exceptionally well crafted. The food was excellent as well. The poutine was a standout and tasted every bit as authentic as the poutine I've enjoyed in Canada. It's not always easy to find great food at a brewery, but Ommegang delivers on both fronts. The setting is truly remarkable. Located on a 140-acre former hop farm just outside Cooperstown, the property feels more like a Belgian monastery than a brewery. The beautiful buildings, open spaces, and wooded surroundings create an experience that is worth the trip all by itself. The grounds are impeccably maintained and provide a perfect backdrop for enjoying a pint. Having been open since 1997, it's clear that Brewery Ommegang has had decades to refine both its beer and its operation. Everything feels polished, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. Hands down, this is one of the coolest breweries I have ever visited. Great beer, excellent food, fun activities, beautiful scenery, and outstanding service make Brewery Ommegang a place that we look forward to returning to every time we're in the area.

When I saw an espresso martini and cake pairing, I knew I had to pull the trigger. Met up with some friends and we all ordered food beforehand to offset the impending sugar rush. I'd had their naan pizza in the past and loved it, so this time I went with the one that had caramelized onions and goat cheese. AMAZING. Crispy crust, melty cheese, tangy onions and the perfect amount of everything in every bite. Then onto the main event: the flights! The staff brought over our cake and drinks and were so great about explaining what to pair together. (There was also a card) Desserts were a carrot cake with the most impossibly airy icing, a pistachio cheesecake with chocolate ganache, and a chocolate cake with a light nutella icing. I'm usually a carrot cake girlie and while I enjoyed it, the cheesecake was actually my favorite. Just the perfect pistachio flavor and a wonderful consistency -- so, so smooth. Our waitress told us that the owner is the one that makes all of the desserts too. A multi-talented queen. As far as the martinis, my favorite was the affogato one. These flight-nights are one-off events and the items aren't normally on the menu, so if you see one that looks extra appealing, get yourself there! I've been for normal service too though, and honestly, never have had a misfire here. One thing I especially love is the option to order drinks in 5oz pours, a godsend for lightweights like me. Ambiance, food, drinks, all excellent.
