Seneca Street Brew Pub is a LGBTQ+ Bar that our Community deserves. Their choice cocktails are always amazing & their locally made brews are fantastic. The food is also my favorite. I cannot express how the Beer Cheese is the best Beer Cheese I ever had. Above all is the sense of community. Whether you are there for Happy Hour or Trivia Tuesdays or one of their Markets or Manlius Pride Fest, you feel welcomed by Heidi, Brooke, & all of the staff in this rustic home away from home.

If you're looking for a cozy local hideaway with fantastic beer, look no further than Seneca Street Brew Pub. We ventured out in the snow for a place for a quick date night and was so happy to have gone here. While there's some street parking out front, there's a good size lot in the back with a separate entrance. Upstairs in the building features more of a tasting room atmosphere with cans available to go. There's also a large event room that can be rented. Downstairs offers the main bar area with plenty of seating, fire, games, TVs, etc. I had to get a flight to try a variety of their own brews which were all fantastic (I can be picky when it comes to beer). Food wise, we got the pretzel after seeing several others with it and the goat cheese, onion, fig butter grilled cheese which was delicious and gone too quickly for a photo. Heidi and crew were so nice, friendly, and attentive. Can't wait to return!

Any other time, if you are not a regular, this place might not be for you. I've been here several times with mixed experiences. The last time I was there was a Thursday in the summer of 2024. My husband, brother and I were excited to find seats at the bar and order dinner. The bartender was a short blonde woman and there was a male bar back. The bartender did not acknowledge us for over 15 minutes. We were actively looking at the menu on our phones and talking about what we wanted to try and attempted to make eye contact with her as she walked by us with no luck. She didn't even say "I will be right with you", literally no interaction. She was very friendly with everyone else around us seeming to know exactly what they were drinking and happy to get it for them. We left as we felt very unwelcome there and ended up having excellent service down the street at Lukin's.

We found this little gem and holy toledo did we we strike gold. First of all, the hostess was super nice and greeted us right away even though she was clearly busy and hustling. We chose to sit outside at a picnic table to soak up the beautiful weather. The outside is fun with brightly painted picnic tables and murals on the building. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered great suggestions. She was great and we really enjoyed interacting with her. We started with rum punches which were made with freshly squeezed juice and they were out of this world. We shared the "everything" wings which were crispy and that sauce was delicious. We were tempted to lick the sauce off the plate. We refrained so we didn't get strange looks. I had the Kimchi Reuben which is made with house made kimchi I might add. My husband got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. We both opted for Poutine Fries for our sides. Guys, this food was unique and spectacular. I'm just bummed it's 3 hours from home! But I'll definitely make an effort to be back.

When I saw an espresso martini and cake pairing, I knew I had to pull the trigger. Met up with some friends and we all ordered food beforehand to offset the impending sugar rush. I'd had their naan pizza in the past and loved it, so this time I went with the one that had caramelized onions and goat cheese. AMAZING. Crispy crust, melty cheese, tangy onions and the perfect amount of everything in every bite. Then onto the main event: the flights! The staff brought over our cake and drinks and were so great about explaining what to pair together. (There was also a card) Desserts were a carrot cake with the most impossibly airy icing, a pistachio cheesecake with chocolate ganache, and a chocolate cake with a light nutella icing. I'm usually a carrot cake girlie and while I enjoyed it, the cheesecake was actually my favorite. Just the perfect pistachio flavor and a wonderful consistency -- so, so smooth. Our waitress told us that the owner is the one that makes all of the desserts too. A multi-talented queen. As far as the martinis, my favorite was the affogato one. These flight-nights are one-off events and the items aren't normally on the menu, so if you see one that looks extra appealing, get yourself there! I've been for normal service too though, and honestly, never have had a misfire here. One thing I especially love is the option to order drinks in 5oz pours, a godsend for lightweights like me. Ambiance, food, drinks, all excellent.

The brisket was fork tender good smoke ring and perfectly smokey without overpowering the flavor of the meat or the Mac n cheese. The corn bread was moist and flavorful. Paired this with an ale for me and a Mountain Dew for my dining partner was very enjoyable and reasonably priced. Will try in the summer to check out the view!
