Stopped by for a friend's birthday dinner. Overall, food was good but on the pricier side. I feel like you can get better and more affordable Chinese food elsewhere, especially the meat platter. I would, however, highly recommend the eggplant fries. Those are pretty tasty and haven't seen them anywhere else! The pea shoots and truffle fried rice were not bad as well. Cocktails and shots were delicious here.

Tried a bit of everything for dinner the other night and here's how it went Assorted meat platter - all tasty meats with a decent amount of each, chashu had a sweet glaze on it Garlic noodles - came with a super gooey egg and lots of noodles, wish the mala sauce on it was actually numbing like the name suggests Fried rice - so yummy! I wasn't sure how I would feel about cheese and truffle on fried rice but turns out it's a perfect pairing! Clams - wish there were more for the value. Good amount of xo sauce and lightly spiced Eggplant fries - so tasty! Highly recommend and nicely crispy battered Squid - another favourite of the night. Squid was cooked perfectly and had a bite to it! Spring rolls - one of the more unique dishes of the night. Enjoyed the filling on the inside Peatips - lots of gogi berries which made the dish on the sweeter side, a bit pricy at $19 for a plate of greens

Fired Eggplant is good. My friends ordered roasted chicken, which tasted good, too.

The portion of dishes is small so it feels a bot pricey. The service is good. It is a mixed style of Asian and western food.

Also, it's a good idea to come after a hearty meal to fully appreciate the alcohol. As you step into this bar from the bustling streets of Vancouver, you're instantly transported to a humid, tropical paradise. The theme is all around you, and you're suddenly in Hawaii, ready to order a mai tai. We began with the mystery bowl, and each bowl comes with its own unique song and flair, making it a fun experience. Whether it's the fire, the smoke show, or the lights flashing in the background as everyone turns to see what you've ordered, it's all part of the show. Besides the bowls, be sure to order your own drinks, as they have something for everyone. Their menu is easy to read, so you can already picture the drink you're about to enjoy. Overall, this is a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion with their whimsical drinks.

They have an outdoor patio area but the seating is on couches you and would have to lean over to eat at a coffee table. We thought that it would be very awkward for eating. They had one high top table outside that we took. Sunday is pizza night and all the pizzas were $17.95. The FIFA game was on both inside and on the patio. For dinner we shared a diavola pizza and smoked salmon parpadelle. The pizza was good but the crust was soggy. The salmon parpadelle was good but I think it would have been better with another pasta - spaghetti, linguine or fettucine as the pasta could not be twirled with a fork and spoon and had to be cut up. The service was excellent. When our server Malaka heard that we were coming in from Abbotsford she said that she would give us the "best seat in the restaurant". When we opted to sit on the patio she gave us a complimentary tiramisu as a thank you. It was such a kind gesture. It was a nice relaxing evening and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Watching boats pass by while planes landed in the distance made the whole experience feel uniquely Vancouver. I ordered a burger with fries and a local beer, and everything was fresh and satisfying. What I loved most was the relaxed atmosphere--it's casual, welcoming, and the kind of place where you can easily spend a few extra hours with friends. If you're looking for a spot with good food, drinks, and one of the coolest views in the city, Milltown is definitely worth checking out. Outdoor seating on a nice day so nice, indoor seating is a bit loud and kind of crowded, the patio seating is nice mix of both worlds. We sat on the covered patio and had a good time (a bit spider webby though). We ordered the wings, a cornbread (it's a muffin), the milltown burger and the moroccan lamb burger. The wings, in the hot flavor. Typical hot wings with buffalo sauce. Not spicy, very vinegary and pungent. Nice size, very crispy. Fair price for the amount you get. Really good overall. Cornbread (muffin). Really good. Kind of an odd thing to have as an appetizer, but so good actually with the sweetened butter, both were so good. Milltown burger. Not sure if we ordered it correctly but it's just a very plain burger no condiments or cheese (not sure if these were options, we didn't ask and weren't asked). Cooked very nicely. Otherwise a pretty run of the mill burger. Fries and tartar sauce were really good. The Moroccan lamb burger, nicely cooked, heavy on the sumac a little greasy. Not tons of lamb flavor. Not bad at all. The halloumi didn't have much of a taste maybe it was me? Who knows but it paired nicely with the beet and arugula salad. The salad was very very good. Price wise, very fair I feel, 67 usd 93 CAD for 2 apps and 2 entrees? Staff were very accommodating as well even with a very full restaurant. Nice people nice experience. Would recommend if you have the patience to travel to the location.

A Pleasant Surprise in a New City…read more While aimlessly wandering through a new city, I stumbled upon this spot and figured, "Why not?" With only a handful of patrons inside, my skepticism was high, but the visit turned out to be a positive one. I started with a light crisp draft beer that hit the spot perfectly. For food, I only took appetizers...the roasted brussels sprouts and chicken wings. Both are what you would expect from typical bar fare - tasty, well-prepared and satisfying without blowing you away. Nothing extraordinary, but nothing disappointing either. The vibe is ideal for catching up with friends. The front outdoor patio sits right along side a busy street, yet the noise level stayed comfortable enough for easy conversation. It felt a bit quiet during my Monday afternoon visit on a public holiday, but I can easily see it being a lively and fun hangout on a weekend. Overall, this was a decent spot and a good find. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the neighborhood.

I also love their Cesars, always really tasty which I find can be hard to nail at restaurants - this one is really good! My dad accidentally ordered a chocolate martini instead of an espresso martini, and Aaron made it happen. (The entire table loved it! Take that poured over some ice cream and I'd be far too content!) My brother had the gin martini, and while not a fan of gin straight up, it had a nice smooth finish that I could appreciate.
