I could not love HERS bakery anymore than I do! They went above and beyond for my son's first birthday party. Melanie was a dream to communicate with and everything was so creative and went perfectly with our theme. She brought her own adorable platters, set everything up and I didn't have to worry about a single thing. The cookies, cake pops and donuts were all gone by the end of our party! I will most definitely be only using HERS for all of our dessert needs from here on out! read more

The pastries were very delicious. I got a carrot cake perfect size and great flavor. We also got a giant soft chocolate chip cookie and a raspberry scone. I also got a brown sugar latte iced with oat milk and it was just the right thing to get my day going. My friend got a hot cookie butter latte she enjoyed. Service was quick and easy, the one who helped us was very nice and got our drinks out in a timely manner. They also have a patio where you can sit and enjoy your coffee with a beautiful mural. She was really responsive and the cookies came out so cute! I requested delivery for additional $10 and Melanie provided confirmation of drop off. Bad cake, my wife got one for Father's Day this year. Came out dry. I'm not really a cake person but I can tell the difference between a good cake and a bad one. Exceptional bakery! For years, HERS Bakery has designed and baked the desserts for our milestones. Not only are the cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, chocolate pretzels, brownies and Rice Krispies treats so delicious, they are works of art! They have done an amazing job personalizing and customizing our desserts to our party themes (see pics). They deliver the desserts and even set up the elaborate desserts displays when needed. Super disappointed unfortunately. Got a cake for my daughters 3rd bday. While it looked super nice, the taste was not. Asked for fresh whipped cream and strawberries on the inside got a thick layer of frosting and strawberries. Everyone at the party took a bite and threw it away. Looked good, taste was bad and dry. Got a lot of compliments on how it looked and was designed, but unfortunately was tossed away as soon as they took a bite. Really unhappy with that due to the fact that the cake was pretty pricey. Asked for cream on the inside and got plain old thick layered frosting. Won't be coming back. Highly recommend this place! Melanie was super responsive over text and was able to make us some cupcakes for our child's birthday party. They were well-made, delicious and looked just like the inspo photo we had sent her. She was also able to rent us a cake stand - and she had a huge variety. Loved being able to support this small, woman-owned business, and look forward to ordering from her again. AMAZING AMAZING!!!! Called the Bakery and no one picked up but not long after received a text message apologizing for no one answering the phone and told me they could text me instead! This was great because we were able to communicate fast, I was able to tell her what I needed, how many and even text her a picture of what I had in mind. She gave me the price and couple days later received an invoice. I ordered 24 custom cake pops that came out to $3.50 each total $84.00. She delivered the day I needed the cake pops and was even early! (Just half hour due to rain she was being safe than sorry) Cake pops came out exactly like I wanted and everyone loved them at the party. They were also SOOOOOOOO good. Sooo where do I begin?? It was my moms Birthday and yes, there was a zero on the end. A big deal! So, we wanted to do something extra cool for her. So we rented a penthouse and called HERS Bakery to make her a designer cake. It came out marvelous!! My mother went on and on about how beautiful it was, and it tasted fabulous! We ordered a Chanel cake with whip cream and fresh strawberries... so delicious! I'd say, if you want a delicious designer cake, for a reasonable price, give HERS Bakery a call. There was no line, and I ordered and sat down at one of the tables out front. The service was so warm, and I believe the shop is owned and operated by one man on his own! He was an absolute delight to meet, and he brought my matcha latte to me at the table when it was prepared. He suggested I get the cream top on it, and boy was that the perfect recommendation. I would say I'm a little bit of a matcha fiend... I think I got a matcha latte at 3 different places this day... and this one far surpassed the others. I think it was one of the best matcha lattes I have ever drank to-date. It was perfectly green, the matcha quality was phenomenal, both taste and look-wise. The texture was just right, perfectly creamy with barely any grittiness. The cream top only added to the drink, and didn't take away from the matcha flavor at all, which I feel like has happened at other places for me. I'm dreaming of this matcha latte days later, and need to go back to Kokoro No Coffee as soon as I am in town again. This was a spectacular find, and I hope this spot gets all the love it deserves! A handful of cookies, not made fresh and leftover from a previous event. *These were themed cookies posted publicly on their social media. Sold at full price, despite being at least 2 days old. Cookies are not heat sealed for freshness. - Hours are limited. Open late morning & closed by the afternoon. This bakery seems to specialize in custom orders. However ways to communicate with them are too limited. Emails get ignored, and their phone isn't answered. Not recommended, unless there's literally no other choice. read more

My bridesmaids knew the situation after getting in touch with me and made many attempts to reach her but because she quickly left and wasn't responding to our calls. We were never able to resolve the situation and the cakes were left as is unfortunately. Communication was fine up until the end when it mattered most. She has an automated answering machine that won't let you get into direct contact with her and the only other way to reach her was email. I'm really disappointed that this happened to us on the day of the wedding. We had confirmation that she would be there at 3 and my husband arrived at the venue at 3:05 so within that timeframe she was already gone.
