    Horchata cold brew :) yummy

Great coffee, right off the 5 freeway. Went to the other location and service was eh. I was really impressed with the courtesy of the employees at this location. Clean facility, with plenty of parking. The only little issue i came across was not following the online order. I ordered 2 iced coffees and 1 hot latte. Received 2 hot lattes, 1 iced coffee. I was in a hurry, so i did not have them correct it. Horchata cold brew is delicious, not too sweet.

Cool Latin inspired vibe, good culture and people visit. Good seating, ambiance very nice. Didn't get any food. Service was speedy, very friendly service and staff. My drink was pretty incredible, even for a sugar free vanilla iced latte. Tasted different and nuanced compared to others, may be moving but very delicious. Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Many cool and fun specials and options on menu as well such as flan and banana, matcha, chocolate options etc. very cool

    afternoon coffee, all milk

i come here very often in the morning before work and i never had anything bad to say because the morning crew is awesome!! I went in the afternoon and total different experience. I understand it's way busier and there's more people to help but I don't think that should affect the quality of your drink. I ordered a horachta latte and why is it pure milk?? See comparison below. I hope they are able to change that because no matter what time it is, your drink should still be the same

Banana latte not what I ordered

I had a very disappointing experience at Tierra Mia. We waited almost 20 minutes for our order, only to receive the wrong drink. I specifically ordered a regular Banana Latte with half sweetness and oat milk because I am lactose intolerant. Instead, I was given a large, full-sweet drink made with whole milk. This wasn't just a minor mistake, it meant I couldn't safely drink what I was given. What made the experience worse was the staff's attitude. They were dismissive, didn't seem apologetic, and made no effort to correct the mistake or offer a solution, even after we explained the issue. We were on a time constraint, but a sincere apology or an offer to remake the drink would have gone a long way. Customer service matters just as much as the quality of the drinks. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I'll think twice before returning.

Coffee time is the right time...especially for me! This has been on my radar for a while and now I can check it off. The inside is huge with a large variety of pastries and coffees. *The baking is done off sight so what you see is what get...(so don't ask for anything outside of the norm) It was hot out so I got a cold foam horchata which was very good. I loved the cold foam combo with the espresso...Not too sweet and the coffee flavor came through. My chocolate croissant was fresh, flaky and delicious! It was a good size too and I ate it all up! LOL! *Parking lot available *Matcha & Chai Tea also on the menu but they only make your basic drink *Wait time was decent

Went on a Sunday morning at around 7am. I was wonderfully met with an ample parking lot! Walked in and loved the layout of the space. Great display of the pastries and all items! I got the holiday peppermint coffee and it's nice and creamy! It's taste thick and full! The service was nice and friendly. I do plan on going back because of the parking and great tasting coffee!

Tierra Mia is a great coffee spot next to cal state LA. They have a little bit of seating indoor and out door. The whole place is covered in the most amazing tiles and decor. The service is fast when you order in store but they also have an online ordering option that is pretty quick too. I had a business trip all week in this area and got my daily caffeine fix here. Their espresso is wonderful and doesn't cause a crash afterwards like other places. The staff is super kind and so helpful. I know where to get my lattes when I'm in the area.

There was a parking lot right next to the building with 15 minute short term parking for stopping in the coffee shop. Some of the parking spots were actually covered and shaded from the sun. There was a short line when I arrived but I was in and out with my two drinks within 15 minutes. I ordered the Mocha Mexicana and the Horchata latter both hot and in a 12 oz and they were both spectacular. I also love their tres leches muffin too! They have keys on the bar to get into the restrooms. The restrooms were very clean and had paper towels. There were plenty of tables and lots of seating available even though they were decently busy. The staff were friendly and quick.

Huge location! They have so many different types of lattes and drinks here, as well as pastries. I originally got an iced pistachio latte but I didn't like it. It tasted really syrupy and just not that great. Instead, I got an iced horchata latte with oat milk. It was so delicious! It was like dessert, it's definitely a sweet treat. I got a large and towards the end it started feeling heavy and overly sweet, so if I were to get it again, I'd probably ask for it to be half sweet. A lot of my friends got the matcha horchata latte and seemed to love that. Love that they can do the horchata dairy-free since that's not as common!

Tierra Mia...Ay, Dios Mío. I wanted to love this quaint California specialty coffee retailer and roaster...but yeah, hard no. At first blush, the pristine cozy interior and Latin inspired menu offering a variety of unique beverages and a plethora of enticing house-made pastries had me at HOLA. But, then my interactions with the uncooperative cashier, Gabriel, started and it all went South of the Border from there. I asked for a shot of Pumpkin in my Iced Chai, he said NO. I asked can I have it blended, he said NO. I asked for some confectioners sugar on my Cheese Delight, he said NO. Three strikes...you're OUT Bro. As a former Barista, I know at least two of those three requests could've been accommodated. Needless to say, this was my least favorite coffee spot in LA. Lo siento, pero no lo siento.

My bf likes to come here for their cafecito cubano con leche. I got the salted caramel latte which mainly just tasted like milk. Wish it had more of the coffee flavor but I'll try something different next time. We also got the cheese danish which was my favorite as well as the guava cheese danish. Both were like the ones from Porto's but honestly I think Porto's is better. I guess if I came back I would order something that isn't any of the fancy sounding coffees like the horchata or pistachio since I think most of the actual coffee taste gets lost.

While I wait in line for BBQ, I walked over to Tierra Mia, a place I've been dying to try!!! I stopped in and was delighted with the smell of fresh coffee and sweet pastries. Staff were formerly welcoming and helpful with my order. There is plenty of space to sit and wait for your order and plenty of parking as well. When you come in you see pictures of the culture of the restaurant with photos of the history of Tierra Mia. I ordered a blended horchata which is a creamy sweet iced drink with no caffeine and I ordered the caramelo iced coffee blended and I ordered the tres leches muffin which is absolutely TO DIE FOR. The horchata cream is a dream, sweet, creamy, and fresh. I will definitely return to try more items because they had a chocolate and strawberry tres leches muffin. IM COMING BACK TIERRA

Cute building with lovely patio seating: from the trailing hanging pothos plants, Spanish tiles, to relaxing latin-house music the vibes were welcoming. I'm not much of a drinker though, when asked if I wanted to make my pina colada a "float" I thought incorrectly about ice cream. It was graciously explained that you take an additional shot of rum and float it on top of the drink or mix in to make it extra boozy. The pina colada is top notch they hollow out a real pineapple to make the drink and it's the size of your face! The watermelon cocktail was delicious and there is also a mezcal option. Tasted like if a watermelon aqua Fresca was combined with a margarita, there is a hint of salt that brings out the fruit sweetness. We special ordered a bunch of different proteins and vegetables at half portions to make a feast: Aguachile- Light refreshing starter, kanpachi perfectly marinated and great for the summer heat. Crispy potato- Phenomenally done fingerling potatoes. Whipped beans- Carnitas on top made this dish. Fried chicken tacos- Found the chicken slightly on the dry side, if there was a creamy/thicker sauce would be even better... nothing wrong with flavor, good mild heat. I did enjoy the fresh shredded cabbage and carrots, reminded me of bahn mi. Empanadas- Loved the acidity of the sauce that cut through the fattiness of the ground meat. Light shell. Crispy Squash flower- Delicate crunch, like an angelic version of a jalapeno popper. Lamb chops- Definition of "treat-yourself" luxurious meat lollipops. Celery salad- Simple dish but the lemon flavor and tartness really helped break up the richness of other dishes. Churros- Light crunch and small, petite dessert. The thin caramel sauce is addicting. Fine dining, for those special occasions or if you just want to splurge for a morale boost highly recommend this restaurant. Valet parking or park across the street or around the corner in a lot for $5-10.

Our waiter was very friendly and did an excellent job all evening. After looking at the menu we decided what we wanted. We started with the guacamole chips and salsa. The chips were okay. They were lightly seasoned with salt. The guacamole was fresh and the salsas were tasty. I preferred the green salsa as the red salsa was spicier. For my main meal I ordered the Quesadilla filled with skirt steak, pico, avocado, salsa, and crema. The quesadilla was delicious. I've never had a quesadilla like this. It was rolled up and looked like an egg roll. The steak was very tasty with a lot of flavor and the other ingredients were fresh. It was so good. For my side I ordered the rice and beans. I really wanted to like this restaurant. Ecuadorian food is one of my favorites. I ordered Guatita,…read moreEmpanada de Carne, Hayaca, and Quinbolito. The Guatita was made well with the honeycomb tripe tender yet retaining a slightly firm texture that this type of tripe will have. There were also several pieces of potato in the stew. Served with yellow rice, the guatita could use some seasoning, such as salt, as it was quite bland. A larger portion size would have been good considering the rather high price point. There were only four pieces of half inch sized tripe in the whole meal. Plantains came with the dish and were nicely prepared with slightly caramelized edges. The Hayaca was a good portion size in the banana leaf wrap with seasoned shredded chicken breast, green peppers, green olive, raisin, and a wedge of hard boiled egg. The slightly sweet cornmeal masa texture was fairly loose, resembling thin mashed potato. Overall, the Hayaca tasted good but could have used a sprinkle of salt to bring out the individual ingredient flavors. The Empanada de Carne, however, did not need additional salt. The beef filling had green olives in it which helped balance out any blandness but I did not detect any other seasonings used. The crust, however, was crispy on the edges with a nice chewy texture throughout. Quinbolito is a bread steamed in a banana leaf with a single raisin on top for decoration. I liked this very much because it was not too sweet. The texture felt light for a dense textured bread. This was a good ending for my meal. An average rating for this restaurant. The food was prepared well but overall lack of seasoning in the items I ordered was very disappointing. I had ordered the food for delivery so I cannot comment on the service and ambiance of the dining room. There was no price increase on the menu items for delivery; same price for delivery and dine-in. Boxes came well packed with no spillage. But considering the high price point of this restaurant, I may or may not return.

I'm glad I got to try Escala but I don't know that I'd seek this place out again, unless it just happened to be convenient. Parking sucks in this area and there are so many amazing restaurants in K-town. I'd rather keep exploring.

We went with the cheese bread and the mixed plate. You could have fed 4 grown men. This is where you appreciate true to ethnicity food. No messing...no pretending and no nonsense. I don't think I could have bought the ingredients, seasoned and cooked this for any less than what we paid. The table next to us ordered the fried fish...as full as I was...I wanted to taste that fish. La Finda Antioquena, thank you for a great experience. We will recommend this place and WE WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

To begin the service is horrible. Nobody I mean we had two different people come up to our table…read moreand neither of them greeted us. The woman (Sandra) who came up to our table was to ask us to move to a smaller table. Mind you we sat there so we could watch the World Cup game as we waited and ate. She was so rude about it!!! Then the waiter to finally came to take our order was also rude. Didn't greet us, they lack manners. I liked one of the empanadas but they have a different name, other than that their food was bland tasteless. I came here with a Colombian friend who wanted to try Colombian food in LA she liked her plate but it was the most simple thing you could order, steak rice and beans. Would never go back here ever... oh also the place was filthy they should keep their tables and floors clean come on.

The restaurant has a modern and cozy atmosphere, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The football-themed décor adds a unique touch, and I can only imagine how lively it must have been during the FIFA World Cup. It's a shame I missed that experience! As for the food, it was excellent. The portion was incredibly generous and definitely worth the price. The steak was tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. As a beef lover, I really enjoyed every bite. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back again. Next time, I'll bring my babe here because I think he would really enjoy both the atmosphere and the food.

It was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and served in thick, juicy slices. If you order the set for two, it also comes with cheesy baked rice, potato salad, beet salad, and chips, which made the meal feel complete. I also loved the three different sauces, and I thought it was a nice touch that they served kimchi on the side to help balance the richness of the meat. The whole meal felt surprisingly fresh and well-balanced. - Also have variety of tab beers ! (Coors , asahi , modelo etc) The owner was very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I definitely recommend giving this place a try! Free parking but limit space
