The two contractors Manuel and Ernesto also worked very hard, were extremely nice and patiently answered all my questions. When there were issues, the way they managed everything left me very satisfied - they were responsible and professional. Their technicians were also extremely knowledgeable and determined to make sure everything was done right and fully resolved. The entire process was handled seamlessly - from applying for permits to eventually getting the rebate - by professional company. Sandium took care of all of it, so I had nothing to worry about. They did a temporary fix which stopped the leak right away and then followed up to come back and redo the shingles to properly install them as it was not installed correctly by the contractor who installed it initially. Bottom line, we built a solid working relationship with Michael and this gave us the comfort we needed to move forward with our HVAC investment. Calvey Heating and Air's estimate for a new heat pump and furnace at our house was very competitive. I was amazed at how much the pricing varied from vendor to vendor. Michael and the Calvey team made the entire process seamless from start to finish. Michael recommended an electrician who did a great job with our electric panel upgrade and the permit team did a fantastic job working with the city for all of the required paperwork. When it came time for the installation, the lead installer, Servando, and his team took pride in their work for the two day install. Similar to Michael, they were patient with me and answered all my questions during the install. Following the install, the Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Team promptly arrived and conducted the necessary testing. Lastly, the permit team met with the city building inspector to successfully get the city sign off on all of the work. Throughout the entire process, Calvey Heating and Air did a great job choreographing and managing all aspects of the installation. I was constantly kept informed and Michael and his team visited our house daily during the installation to ensure all was moving forward properly. Lastly, a final walk-through was conducted by Johnny from Calvey ensuring that the install was 100% perfect. Once my wife and I have had time to work with and get familiar with our new system, Michael indicated he will have his team come by our house and balance out our vents if needed and answer any additional questions we may have. I met with three HVAC contractors and Noam was the only HVAC contractor who honestly told me that I didn't need a new furnace, but I needed to remove the asbestos in my attic and get new attic insulation. The other HVAC contractors were not qualified to help me with my attic insulation and one contractor said I had no asbestos, but Noam , who is certified for asbestos removal, said I did have asbestos. I have peace of mind knowing that Noam was honest with me in telling me what I truly needed. His crew also did an excellent job installing my garage roof insulation with a ceiling fan. My garage gets incredibly hot in the summer. I look forward to having a cooler garage and house during the hot summers and a warmer house during the winters. I highly recommend All Bay Insulation & HVAC. My doorbell was not working and when Alonzo from All Bay Insulation & HVAC went into the attic, he discovered that the wire to the doorbell was cut and the wire next to the doorbell ringer was also cut. Since we don't know who cut the wire, Noam offered to have Alonzo install a new wire for free. Alonzo had to break through my kitchen wall to install the wire and when he repatched the wall, the wall looked good as new. You cannot tell that the wall was re-opened to install a wire. My doorbell now works perfectly, and thanks to Noam, I didn't have to pay a cent for this repair.

They were done within two days and I was able to keep working while they were here! That's the overview. Here's the long story. I had a maintenance plan for our furnace through another company. They inspected the furnace and freaked me out when they said they couldn't do maintenance because of exposed asbestos in the ducts! Ugh! Even with my "special" plan pricing, their rate to remove and abate the asbestos (through a third party) and replace with new ductwork was very high. I saw All Bay and asked for an estimate. His team included removal, remediation, new ducting and insulation, new furnace - oh and cleaned the attic and installed new batting for the same price as the other company's quote. Plus the photos of previous work and their reviews sealed the deal. Done with all of it in two and a 1/2 days. The half was because they had a team that just cleaned and touched up behind the first team! These guys were so kind and worked fast. They even hauled out and disposed of some things a previous contractor had left in the crawl space without me knowing it was even down there! Then when we realized the fan in the bathroom wasn't working after the attic clean out and new insulation, the foreman himself came out to fix it. Pasquale had everything fixed within hours. If you're thinking of squeezing out another year with your old furnace, consider this - our PGE bill dropped by 100 with the new insulation, proper duct size and new furnace. That's 1200 in one year. Noam can help with that. He did not give me anything nor ask for any of this. This is for y'all doing your due diligence when it comes to home repairs. I feel you and it's been constant contractors in and out since we moved in. This team cared and I can't say that about many of the others.

I did blow-in attic insulation to R-38 with RB over the insulation in 2019 based on Sam's…read morerecommendation. After the new insulation, I didn't feel any difference in house. The new insulation and RB covering didn't change anything in my two-story house. The heater is still running in cold days. Also, Sam told me that they would do EXTRA blow-in on the existing ducts in upper attic; however his team who did the job didn't do EXTRA on the existing ducts. I told them about the extra blow-in and showed them the picture, but they didn't care. Very unprofessional. (Refer to the picture). I would never ever hire Sam for any jobs because I feel that he just tries to sell his "Green" products through his presentation to get the job. Do not fall for his presentation when he comes to your home to quote you!

We had the attic insulation in our townhouse upgraded by Premium Shield in 2016. Sam and his team…read moredid a great job, in and out all in one day. The little debris on floor was vacuumed up by them. We paid extra to have the reflective shield added. Highly recommended as the shield over the insulation keeps heat inside the house in winter, but keeps summer heat in attic from penetrating downwards on hot days. Our heating bill in winter dropped by 20-28%, and on hot summer days the living areas were cooler.
