I've been seeing Maisie at Heydey for waxing. Not only is she great at waxing, she is also very professional and joy to be around. Makes a somewhat uncomfortable service (having hair ripped out, haha) so much more bearable! Her pricing is very affordable, which makes maintaining a waxing regimen doable! I found Maisie by searching online and reading reviews. I was so happy when I found out about sugaring a few years ago, as I have really crazy skin that bruises and pulls away with hot wax, leaving me looking like I've been in a bar brawl leaving a salon. Sugaring worked pretty well for me but for some reason I kept finding it more and more painful over the years. I decided to give waxing another try and went looking for someone who wouldn't mind turning down the heat on their pot of wax for me and would take care of my skin! Well, I certainly hit the jackpot. Maisie was so kind and told me she completely understood the type of skin I have and turned the heat down before my appointment. She has a method of waxing where she waxes relatively small areas in slightly different directions and for the first time in my adult life, I was not trying to hold in whimpers or tears while being waxed. In short, she is truly amazing at what she does and she made me feel so comfortable and welcome.
