BREAKING NEWS - Heytea now has the famous pistachio cloud jasmine coconut! I had to compare if it was just as good as the one from Molly Tea, and omg... I think it might be better. The pistachio cloud is much more nuttier, you can taste more of that coconut, while still retaining a strong jasmine flavor. Molly Tea is definitely more fragrant when it comes to the jasmine tea, but the other flavors (pistachio & coconut) are lackluster now that I've tried Heytea's version. The Coconut Mango Boom is also very good. I can see why is a fan favorite. The coconut jelly is a nice touch. I need to come back to try the grape one because I saw at least 10 cups of it being prepared in a row.

Hey, tea, you are too expensive for my wallet! Almost $10 for a milk tea. Yikes! It's good, but not that worth it in my opinion. I rather walk across the parking lot and buy a whole Chinese bbq rice box for lunch. On top of that, the last time I went during the afternoon, they ran out of boba. The layout and interior decor of this place is interesting. It's minimalistic and simple. There are no menus to read on the wall and the restroom door blends into the wall. The line to order is slow. I'm not sure if it's intentional or not. You can't read the menu until you get to the counter. Then you are in the "ummmm" and question mode. The payment screen asks for a tip. Why? It's getting out of hand. I'm waiting for grocery stores to start asking for tips for bagging your items.

In a sea of drink and boba spots in Chinatown, this place actually stands out. The quality is consistent, the menu has a ton of options without feeling gimmicky, and everything tastes like it was made with care. The space is modern, clean, and functional..the kind of spot you can hang out in without feeling cramped. Prices are about what you'd expect in this area, but the drinks make it worth it. Do yourself a favor and try the Mango Boom. One sip and your taste buds are going to wake up real quick.

I was in Houston visiting a friend and came across HeyTea and knew I had to make a stop. We do not have a location in Austin, TX but I am a huge fan of tea. They are known for quality ingredients, and giving ancient eastern tea a fresh, modern spirit. Through every cup, they aspire to bring a sense of inspiration and zen to everyone. The store had a very modern and minimalistic vibe. Decorated with silver tea canisters. You can place your order on the app or at the counter. They offer a curated selection of drinks that seem very well thought out. I downloaded the app and they had several reward offers and coupons and I ended up using 15% off my order. The service was very friendly explaining the variations in the drinks and was very patient with me as I was trying to download the app. The place was very crowded even though it had just opened. I had trouble making up my mind and so I ordered two drinks. The Pistachio Cloud King Jasmine, crafted through nine rounds of jasmine scenting, using 5,500 fresh jasmine blossoms for every 500g of tea, with no artificial flavor. Blended with real dairy milk only, no artificial creamer, and finished with a handcrafted in-house Pistachio Cloud on top. It was like heaven on earth with both nutty and floral notes. The foam on top was smooth and indulgent without feeling heavy. I got the Grapefruit Boom for the road, with freshly cut grapefruit slices and juicy grapefruit pulp are infused in Jasmine Tea. This drink was also very flavorful and refreshing with the citrus notes and fresh grapefruit pieces. HeyTea definitely lives up to the hype for creative drinks. I want to open one in Austin, TX because I would definitely be a regular if it was closer!!

I. Love. Heytea. It's up to hype and worth every penny. The "Booms" are fresh, delicious, and the perfect sweetness. My go-to is the Mango Grapefruit Boom, the bits of grapefruit could be weird for some people but I love the texture and added sourness of the pulp. My friends love the normal Mango Coconut Boom as well as the Coconut Mango Blue. While I don't usually like grape flavored things, their Crispy Grape Boom tastes fresh and the pieces of grape are truly crispy and crunchy, it's my favorite part. Their matcha drinks are also delicious, creamy with a strong matcha flavor. Service is pretty fast for how busy it gets. You can use the app to track your estimated wait time and also see how many cups are ahead of yours. The inside of the store always smells like jasmine and I love it, it could be too much for some people though. Their concept is minimalistic and seating is limited. While there are a lot of parking spots around it, parking could also be hard depending on how busy the rest of the plaza is.

My friend & I got the Coconut Mango Blue & the Kale Boost Tea. I was hesitant about the kale drink but it surprised me in a good way so I'd recommend both. The interior does have limited seating so we were standing in one of the corners waiting for our drinks. They were busy at the time we went but our drinks still came out fairly quickly.

I practically a regular here now. Though it does get packed quickly and hard to find a seat to sit down to enjoy your drink, I definitely recommend just going once for their drink. It's as good as the hype says it is. I definitely recommend getting the app and ordering ahead of time plus they have coupons available in the app! The staff try their best to quickly prepare the drinks and bag every purchase in a nice bag. I would say the downside is that it does get pack, loud, and overstimulating during peak hours. Overall, they have been a favorite to-go place for drinks and they often times have promotions going on!

I had a great experience at heytea. My drink was great! And the ambiance was interesting as well I got the coconut mango boom. It was a great drink. You can tell they use fresh fruit - it's hard to describe just how big of an impact that has on the quality of the drink, but it was darn good. My mango tasted very fresh & juicy. The coconut was delicious too. I was very surprised with the quality & taste of my tea. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is just due to how packed the place was! It was crazy, so many people. And I think as a result it was a little dirty/untidy. There was no soap in the bathroom... It took a bit to get my order, but for the quantity of people it was actually not too long. I'd recommend giving this place a try, but maybe place an online order ahead of time

I love HeyTea! Their drinks are always so refreshing and they use fresh fruit and the most floral tea in their drinks. They have been opened for a while now but the line is still so long everytime. I have tried a lot of drinks from them: * Supreme Brown Sugar Bobo Milk Tea * Supreme Matcha Latte * Triple Supreme Matcha (eh) * Mango Grapefruit Boom * Crisp Grape Boom * Oat Matcha Bobo (eh) * Magnolia Cloud Tea Latte * Coconut Mango Blue * Tiramisu Milk Tea (eh) Some of the drinks are okay but most drinks are delicious. The milk teas are a hit or miss, but you really can't go wrong with the fruity drinks. They are quite expensive but it's worth it!

Wow the coconut mango boom tastes like mango sticky rice in drink form which just happens to be one of my all time favorite desserts! I get it with less sugar. What a perfect treat. Also enjoyed the kale boost tea which was light and floral. Lines can get long so order ahead. Worth a try for sure. They have many offerings. Will be back!

Second time back and this place always hits the spot! Their tea is very aromatic and I really love their jasmine tea. Saw that they had this pistachio jasmine drink and had to try! It was just as good as it looked, pistachio was creamy and nutty and the jasmine was subtle yet delicious. Saw a few people order and come to pick up, maybe that is the move instead of waiting a bit for the drinks. Rewards are only earned through the app so that is more incentive as well. Still waiting on the day they add milk substitutes because my gassy stomach is suffering but it's worth it LOL.

My first time at Heytea was interesting. I was not expecting such long waiting times considering it was a random weekday that I went. I found out that ordering on their app makes it much more easier so that's what I've been doing. Their drinks are definitely worth the long wait. I see this place more like a order and go place. There is not much place to sit considering that everyone there is waiting for their drinks as well. The place is small and can get a bit cramped at times. I recommend trying their jasmine tea latte and the grape boom. read more

Came on the last day of Bogo Sunday and man that line was long! Took relatively 30-40 min to get the drinks which is normal. They handed out menus to look at while we were outside. Very simple to order . I got the coconut matcha and it wasn't too bad. I did enjoy the triple matcha supreme more as it was a little more flavorful. I tend to adjust all my drinks to less ice/light sugar. Interior is pretty aesthetic and spacious. Definitely worth coming for the Bogo special they had running for couple of days! read more

Triple matcha latte with boba - My drink had a bit too much mochi or the matcha wasn't blended well because it was rather thick. The boba was the perfect texture. I've gotten the drink before where it was perfect so it may be from the busy-ness of opening weekend. Not sure I'd come back unless it was one of their bogo promotions because prices are steep. Still one of my favorite places for matcha though! read more

ANOTHER BOBA SHOP IN BELLAIRE!!! The competition is fierce, so you gotta bring a quality product or have something unique to offer if you want to stay in business. HEYTEA accomplishes this with their quality drinks. My fav is the triple supreme matcha latte, a must try for another fellow matcha lovers out there. I made it the Galleria location too before this one opened, but ngl this location is sooo much more convenient because who shops at the Galleria still nowadays? Anyways, the establishment is clean, the service is quick, and the drinks are spot on. Of all the boba shops around Bellaire, I think this one will be staying for awhile. For reference I'm a big lover of Chicha San Chen for regular boba drinks, but they don't offer any matcha drinks! read more

I've been searching for a decent matcha place in Houston and this is it. I love the drinks, I be tweaking out because the matcha actually makes me jumps off the walls lmao The service and staff are very quick and informative even when it's busy. the store is spacious, yet quaint-- theres 1 table? inside from what i saw, some small couches, and it gets a little cramped when lined up. the service was great despite the rush that they were experiencing, they were efficient with handling both instore and online orders. i got the mango coconut boom, tasted like mango sticky rice almost! the creamy sweet coconut and the flavor of the fresh mango paired amazingly, would get it again! read more

There's always a lot of people here. Mainly because this place actually serves good milk tea. It's a little bit different from other spots and you can order online and pickup instead of waiting in line. I recommend going on weekdays-- avoid Saturday and Sunday since EVERYONE will be there. There is limited seating. I would go back just for that triple supreme matcha. read more

Came here hoping the grand opening buzz had died down but it sure hasnt! Make sure you download their app before coming here because the line can get very long (especially since it opened last week) and you are able to order ahead. HeyTea is here! It is located where YumCha used to be. We went on opening weekend - Sep 20th, 2025; the line was very long (waited for about 45 minutes) and for good reason. The drinks were good! Not really much room inside; it feels like an airport security line, but hopefully only for the first few weeks as the crowds start to die down. Drinks: Coconut Mango Boom: 5/5 (tastes great, just like Hui Lau Shan) Supreme Brown Sugar Bobo Milk Tea: 3.5/5 (not quite as good as Tiger Sugar - R.I.P.) Almost 9 dollars for boba is crazy and the mango drinks are okay. We got the coconut mango and the blue mango and they both aren't very flavorful compared to some other places nearby. A drink we did like was the triple matcha but with how pricey it is, I think other places nearby are not worth the time. read more

Overpriced for mediocre drinks. They're trying to charge $8-$9 for a medium sized drink, and it's just tea and liquid. The tea was flavorful, but nothing special. This is some of the most expensive drinks around. Go save your money and get some just as good drinks for half the price elsewhere. read more

9/19/25 Stopped by on the first day of their BOGO special. Ordered the triple supreme matcha latte and the kale boost tea. The kale comes in this cute plastic mason jar - very refreshing. Health drink cheat day! There's definitely plenty of match taste in The triple matcha drinks 9/20/25 Today I'm back to try the matcha cloud coconut blue and the coconut mango boom. Hey it's BOGO and there's no limit to what you can get. Definitely should download their app so you can see what's in their drink. Very easy to navigate thru the app. Right now the place doesn't have any seating Half being use to place your order and the other half for waiting. So far the line is moving smoothly read more

coconut mango blue is probably one of the best things i've ever tasted in my life. delicious fruit and refreshing, light taste. matcha supreme was too rich for my taste, but i could imagine people who like a strong matcha taste would enjoy it. person taking drink orders was nice too. i used to frequent this place when it was yumcha, and back then it was really easy for people to hang out and get studying done. the heytea interior is nice and all, but completely lacks seating. i went to one in seongsu, seoul, south korea and it had decent seating despite being smaller so i don't know what's up with that design choice. price is a little high but the drinks are good. i would come here again to treat myself. especially that coconut mango blue.. read more

To be perfectly honest, I am really more of a Tea Sip kind of person and still lament the closure of that Heights institution. For me, 19th Street isn't the same without it. Path of Tea is a totally different kind of operation, however. As for ambience, although I did enjoy looking at some of the decor (hanging fixtures, wall art, etc.), the overall design of the interior felt a bit dated and I would classify the lighting as dim. When we walked in, the guy who works the counter was actually seated and seemed to blend in with the clientele. So, initially, it wasn't clear who's minding the store, so to speak. I thought the guy's communication was on the dry side, but was really more interested in the offerings to focus much on that. The tea I ordered was just OK (peach and apricot blend, as I recall). My guest enjoyed their tea and cookie, but for myself, my heart is still with Tea Sip and it will probably take a long time for me to find a shop of that caliber. Parking, as I recall, was fairly easy as it is towards the end of a strip center. Overall, I would rate this business a 3/5.

Hey Tea in Chinatown is such a gem! I got the jasmine tea with cheese foam, and it's easily my favorite, perfectly fragrant and creamy without being too sweet. The whole shop smells amazing, like freshly brewed tea, and the ambiance is super cute and calming. Only reason for 4 stars is the pickup process. Its a bit confusing since the order numbers aren't visible anywhere and they don't call them out. A better system would make the experience perfect.
