On my visit to SJ this place was not open yet so I returned 2 years later ready. I ordered their guava grape and it was honestly one of the best drinks I've had. I hear great things about HeyTea but now I'm able to really try it and it does live up to the hype. This drink was a slush and the grape was chopped in small piece gave it a nice texture for crunch. I'll definitely get this again or go to another HeyTea
This is my preferred HeyTea location. The wait tends to be shorter than other locations, and order through the app ahead of time to skip the line! Nice and causal space with mostly standing room. The staff is friendly and efficient, which makes the experience even better. It's located in a plaza with a parking lot, although parking can definitely be a challenge as it's crowded on the weekend. I ordered the Crisp Grape Boom, my go-to drink. It's refreshing, packed with fresh-cut grapes, and consistently good.
among north San Jose/santa Clara area, this heytea is my go-to place specially they have any new items or new promotions Yesterday they released new drink with US open special goods (sticker and magnet) for magnet, you need to redeem your points through app early when system opened. Major reason I picked this place to pick up because anytime heytea is holding special event, this location is the most efficient and less wait time! For USOpen special goods, after choosing this store for pickup, and ordered ahead before 12pm, I was able to get my drinks and goods when I arrived. Sticker quality is better than I expected, it has 3d effect and magnet is cute! It is a hidden germ among Santa Clara/SJ area! If there are any further heytea new drinks, new promotion, pick this place as your 1st choice, it will save your time and give you a better pickup experience! (Tip: order ahead, and order goods early after system opens)
My son wanted Hey Tea, so we ordered online ahead of time so we don't have to wait. There were 31 cups of drinks ahead of us. It is crowded. So glad we ordered ahead and was able to pickup the drinks in 9 minutes and didn't have to wait while we were driving to get the drinks.
HEYTEA is hands down my ultimate favorite tea spot across the world. In Korea... In China... in Singapore... HEYTEA's quality upholds. And in California... HEYTEA is still one of my favorites. The difference type of flavors, the BOGO deals, and the simple branding makes the experience even better. I will say the service is a bit slow, be prepared to wait like at-least 8 minutes if it's a busy day (and it almost always is). But it's WORTH the wait always. I've never thrown away a half full HEYTEA drink. I've finished each one in under 20 minutes. Lol.
Luckily line was super short when we got here. I got the coconut mango boom and it was delicious! Love the mango bits, sago, and coconut chucks in there. Even though I'm not a fan of coconut, it went really well together. My husband got the pistachio cloud jasmine coconut and that was good too! Nutty yet refreshing. Great place to go after dinner. BUT... parking is horrible!!!
Came back to try other drinks. This time we tried Coconut Mango Blue, Crisp Grape Boom. They are both really good, refreshing and delicious. The coconut mango blue is also very pretty in color. Bear in mind that they're always busy and be prepared to wait at least 15+ mins for your drink.
The fragrance of the teas as you walk into this shop are wonderful, and I can see why it's a popular boba shop. I stopped by with my husband and got the king jasmine guava milk tea with brown sugar boba, while he opted for the coconut mango slushie. We both enjoyed our drinks, although I think I would like to try something sans milk next time as the tea itself seems to be of good quality. The boba was softer than I typically like it, but had good brown sugar flavor. The interior is almost aggressively trendy, white, and fairly minimalist, but is very clean and the staff seems to have a pretty organized system going for the orders. As mentioned, the fragrance of the brewing teas in the shop is wonderful, but it is a noisy environment so we ended up moving to the outdoor seating to enjoy our drinks. Orders are made through the kiosks, so the only interaction with humans is pickup at the counter. Overall, the tea seems good here, so I am looking forward to the next opportunity to stop by and try something from their menu.
Tried this place when they first open and was not a fan. I gave it a second try as my GF said the mango slushie drink was good. She was absolutely right. Just the right sweetness for me. Love the fresh mango. Love the texture and creaminess of the drink. It also had little tapioca balls and live the coconut jelly. Just a yummy drink. Pricey but worth it. Stellar drinks, unmatched flavors and quality tea Heytea is one of the top tea spots in the bay, and San Jose is lucky to have multiple locations in such close proximity to one another. The flavors on the drinks are top tier-my favorite drinks being the coconut mango boom and the king jasmine guava. The service is efficient and no-frills. I went on a BOGO day and waited an hour. Despite the crowd, employees were pleasant and once you reached the front and ordered, your drink was ready within five minutes. Great organization on the store's part. On the other hand, on weekdays it's manageable to get a quick drink from here without a crazy wait time. I can't emphasize enough how high quality the tea and flavors are here. Mango pulp in the coconut mango boom is incredibly fresh, and the king jasmine guava has a wonderful, flavorful creamtop sitting above delicious tea. Heytea sits atop an already competitive specialty drink scene in the Bay Area-for good reason.
Stopped by on a Friday afternoon, there was a smallish crowd compared to what it's like on the weekends. Cloud Mango (4/5) - Love the creamy texture and bits of mango, which contrasts nicely with the cloud. I ordered at the lowest sweetness possible, but it still came out way too sweet for my liking. Triple Matcha (4/5) - Nonsweet, grassy, and strong. If you love matcha this would be a great choice. This is more of a grab and go place. The limited seats that are available are more for chilling as you wait for your order. I recommend ordering in advance.
Drove from Monterey just for our favorite mango coconut. Always a delicious treat! First time at this HeyTea location, ample seating inside and outside. Its more like a 'pick up your drink and go' and no restroom in sight. Service was fast.
I got the jasmine milk tea with matcha cloud with no sugar, and it was pretty bitter, so I'd recommend getting it with some sugar (even if you get no sugar at other boba spots). I think it has good potential with 25% sugar. The strawberry peach boom was yummy, but it is pretty icy with just 25% sugar. The green grape boom with 50% sugar was a too sweet for me though. Also, I was not the biggest fan of the green grape flavor, but my friend who really likes green grapes really enjoyed this one. Mango grapefruit is probably still my favorite boom.

I feel like most new boba places now meet a pretty solid threshold of "good" and HeyTea is no exception. Solid boba place with a focus on tea instead of the actual pearls. We came in Jan 2025 when they were earlier in their opening phases and the drinks came out relatively fast and the service was friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. Drinks lean on the sweeter side and the boba is okay (definitely not something to write home about, just average) but the jasmine matcha tea was pretty good. Interior was white/gold aesthetic and drink numbers are displayed at the top for when your order is ready. It was a bit crowded to navigate through to pick up the drinks but I imagine it'll stabilize very soon. read more

Heytea is my favorite new boba spot. I first heard about Heytea when I saw my Yelp Friend Minh-Chau D. review it. I tried the Mango Passionfruit Boom she tried, so I ordered that. It was so yummy. All the drinks I ordered from this location were: Mango Passionfruit Boom, Cloud Coconut Blue, and Fluffy Cloud Mango. All were delicious. The Fluffy Cloud Mango was surprisingly refreshing (I was originally expecting less drinking and more ice) and I liked it. I enjoy coconut drinks so I loveeddd the Cloud Coconut Blue. Mango Passionfruit Boom is a drink that kind of reminds me of Vietnamese che, and I always order this for people who never tried Heytea before. read more
We enjoyed our drinks. The sweetness level was perfect and flavors were distinct. I'll definitely would come back to try the signature fruit drinks next time. We honestly were more impressed with the service! We got our drink in 20-30 minutes despite there being a queue of 100 drinks!! The team was a well-oiled machine. Heytea is my favorite franchise right now but I think this location is weaker than their other spots in the Bay Area. I enjoy their Sunnyvale, SF, and Milpitas locations a lot more. The drinks still taste ok, but I am never amazed by a drink that I get here. My go to drinks are the Mango Boom series. Right now Sunnyvale has my favorite Mango Boom. read more
Went to Heytea recently, they had a QR code to order online but the system was closed because they were too busy, so had to line up to order. Got a grape slush, not bad, but felt like it could've used more ice (or maybe it just melted fast because it was a super hot day). The grape flavor totally reminded me of Vitagen, brought back childhood memories! read more

heytea has become one of my favorite boba chains. I love fresh fruit teas and they do a great job. I'm also trying to cut added sugar and their minimal sugar is the perfect amount of sweetness. Mango drinks are also my top choice and theirs is top tier. They have bogo deals pretty often and i love a good deal but the line can be killer. I would consider the ambiance to be nice but usually it's too crowded to enjoy your drink there. read more

I love their jasmine matcha here! The jasmine is so floral and the matcha creme on top is the perfect amount of sweet. The sago and jelly are an amazing addition as well. I would avoid coming here on their BOGO days if you do not want to wait in a long line, but on normal days, you will be able to order ahead of time on their app (which usually takes around 20 minutes). read more

*Review based on mobile orders* When placing orders through the app, it gave an estimated 20 min wait. The only thing is that you can't leave notes on individual drinks, just on the overall order. I had left a note saying to remove boba from one of the drinks and they were able to accommodate that and added additional cheese foam since the drink was lower. Pick up was fast and quick. There is very limited indoor seating but it's pretty spacious & clean. It's more of a pick up & go spot. Parking is free since it's in a large plaza. read more

This has become our go-to boba spot in the north San Jose area, and it honestly never disappoints. The drinks are always refreshing and made with great quality ingredients. The Coconut Mango Boom is my favorite it hits the perfect balance of fresh and sweet and totally satisfies a boba craving. Their matcha and milk tea are also solid choices, especially if you get them as a slush or shake. The boba itself is nicely chewy and doesn't harden as quickly as boba from other places I've tried. I haven't explored all the toppings yet, but everyone I know who's been here has had a great experience with Hey Tea. The shop is clean, modern, and aesthetically pleasing. Even when it's busy, the baristas work quickly and efficiently. If you're short on time, ordering online for pickup is a good idea since lines can get pretty long, it also take my school group orders, kids really loved it! read more
Located in San Jose, the parking lot is enormous but availability is quite scarce. The interior is super fragrant with all of the different tea aromas. Ordering can be done through the app which speeds up the process or through their self serve kiosk. Definitely recommended to order through the app as the line does get quite long. Strawberry peach boom (4/5): so yummy. I had trouble mixing the drink which I found very odd, even after multiple rounds of vigorous shaking. The boba was delicious though. It was soft and chewy. Tap to pay is accepted. Overall, Heytea is a great boba shop. The line does get quite long though but the drinks are absolutely delicious. read more
Heytea is the newest tea chain to hit the Bay Area. I only know of the ones in the South Bay, like San Jose, Milpitas, & Sunnyvale. Though, I see Daly City, Berkeley, & San Francisco each have a location. Pretty cool! This location had about 10 people working to made drinks. You can order with the cashier or online. New, simple decor. Not many seats and it's crowded, so be prepared to wait. The menu was pretty large and had a lot of flavors. I was curious about the Mulberry, so I got the Mulberry Strawberry Boom. It was refreshing and muddled throughout was the Mulberry fruit & a slice of lime. I couldn't really taste the strawberry but the Mulberry was good. Come check them out! read more
I'm really surprised at how much I really enjoyed a hot milk tea boba. Ordered the hot brown sugar milk tea boba lightly sweetened & it was perfect! The tapioca was very soft & chewy, the flavor wasn't overwhelmingly sweet, my kids loved it as well. The second drink I ordered was the crisp apple grape boom. It was very interesting, but also very enjoyable. Something different from what I've ever had but nonetheless it was still delicious. Good drinks, price are a little higher than most but it's still very much worth it. Can't wait to go back & try a different drink. read more

HeyTea is Bay Area's latest and greatest tea shop with its opening met with significant fanfare and long lines. Although new(ish) to northern California, HeyTea is actually a well-established chain with multiple locations in New York, Los Angeles, and even around the globe in the UK, Australia, and Malaysia. HeyTea was first founded in 2012 born from the desire to revitalize tea culture with high-quality ingredients and unique flavors. With a slogan like "Drive Quality, Spark Joy", HeyTea definitely aims high to offer great tasting drinks that everyone can enjoy. As with all new and shiny tea shops, HeyTea opened to long lines of adoring fans wanting to take a sip of their creations. The interior of the store is very clean and very aesthetic, although there isn't a ton of seating inside so you're probably better off taking your drink to-go. I highly recommend ordering from their app and to pick-up in store to cut down on the long wait times (both for ordering and pick-up). I placed my order on their app around 5:30pm, and the app gave me an estimate of 11 minutes until pick up - not bad at all. Indeed my drinks were ready for pick-up at the promised time and I was able to waltz right in the store (past a significant line of patrons still waiting to order at their in-store kiosk) and grab my drinks for the road. This time we got their (1) yumberry boom, and (2) passion fruit tea. As before both drinks did not disappoint in the slightest. The yumberry boom is a comeback drink (as noted on the app), and I will say that the taste/flavor of the drink reminded me a lot of their mulberry - so if you like their mulberry strawberry boom, then this one should be right up your alley. The passionfruit was crisp and refreshing, a perfect pick-me-up if you're looking for something light to enjoy. If you're wondering if HeyTea is worth the excitement, then I'm happy to share that it is! Whether you plan to go in the next few weeks or the next few months (when hopefully the lines die down a bit), you'll always be in for a treat at HeyTea! read more

Finally got the chance to try HeyTea after hearing about it everywhere online! Came here on a Saturday night at 6pm. As expected, the plaza was incredibly crowded. I had to loop around twice before having some good luck and seeing a car back out. I'd anticipate having to park nearby and walk over if you're planning on visiting the plaza during typical dining hours. The storefront is relatively small -- only 2 tables and some booth seating on the side. Definitely a bright, modern interior. Mobile ordering wasn't available during the entire day, I'm assuming because of the sheer number of drinks that already had to be made from in person orders. I ordered the mango grapefruit boom, and my friend ordered the coconut mango boom. The drinks can be pricey but honestly pretty on par with other boba shops nowadays. The line to order moved really quickly, and we waited around 20 minutes for our drinks to be made -- there's a TV screen which displays your drink number as ready, so make sure to pay attention since they don't text you or call out the numbers. The drinks are quite loaded with mango and sago. However, comparing my drink to my friend's, I didn't taste a difference -- there was only a very slight grapefruit flavor in mine and a subtle coconut flavor in hers. I appreciated the fresh mango in both, and each sip was filled with both mango and sago. Less sweet is the perfect sweetness. I wouldn't say anything too out of the ordinary, but HeyTea definitely stands out with freshness and sheer amount of toppings. Will come again when the lines die down! read more
I tried Heytea while I was in Asia, where it was all the rage, so I was thrilled to find out a location opened nearby! It's in a busy plaza next to Gen and Kura Sushi, which made parking a bit tricky, especially on weekends. I visited a few times during their BOGO and BOGO 50% off promotions. While the lines were long, they weren't unbearable--especially given the special deals. It took about 50 minutes from lining up to getting our drinks. Cloud Crisp Grape (3.5/5): This drink feels like it would be super refreshing on a hot day. The grape flavor was nice and not overly artificial. It's an icy slush with real grape chunks that added a nice touch to the fruity drink. Matcha Jasmine Latte (5/5): Absolutely my favorite! The matcha was mild and earthy, and the fragrant jasmine tea paired perfectly. It was creamy, subtly sweet, and just delicious overall. However, if you prefer a strong matcha flavor, this might not be for you. Supreme Brown Sugar (3/5): This one felt a bit underwhelming compared to the photo--it didn't have the brown sugar syrup I was expecting. The boba was chewy and enjoyable, but the drink itself was just okay. I wouldn't order it again. Mango Grapefruit Boom (4.5/5): So refreshing and flavorful! The tartness of the grapefruit complements the sweetness of the mango perfectly. The drink includes fresh mango and grapefruit pieces along with sago, and the creamy coconut milk ties everything together beautifully. Usually I just a new boba spot on how well I like their regular milk tea, however, I after trying this delicious and refreshing treat, I can't seem to bring myself to change my order yet. I discovered HeyTea when my friends and I went to Gen Korean BBQ for lunch. This establishment is located in a popular plaza in East San Jose, and parking can be crowded at time (especially during peak hours). Since the line outside was long, I downloaded their app and used it to order ahead while I was finishing my lunch. The app was very easy to use and I was able to find what I wanted to order rather quickly. After finishing my lunch I went back to the tea shop and quickly got my drink . I got the Mango Grapefruit Boom and it was really good. It tasted more like a dessert than a tea drink though. It had a strong mango flavor that went well with the creamy coconut milk. The grapefruit wasn't as strong as I hoped, but it was still a solid drink. I say HeyTea is a great new fruit tea place, and it definitely presents itself as one. I especially loved the mobile app ordering experience, and would recommend this place to others! read more
Hey Tea finally opened their first location in the Bay Area a couple of weeks ago! This is my favorite fruit tea brand from China, so I'm very excited about their opening here! They recently collaborated with Yayoi Kusama to launch the Love & Life packaging, along with some merchandise. I managed to snag the adorable keychain and mug. First review of 2025! Little did I know, a friend and I got in line during the last day of grand opening week, 1/2/25. This meant we made it in time for the BOGO 50% off offer! No wonder there was still a line at 8pm on a Thursday. A father-aged gentleman handed out menus at the end of the line. It took about 36 minutes standing in line before 1 of 2 cashiers took our orders, which took about 2 minutes per person so we could each get the deal. The wait went by quickly and it wasn't that cold outside either. Drinks were ready in 10 minutes despite the tv monitor stating approximately 19-20 minutes. That was fast! One monitor has order numbers in que for prep and the other says which orders are ready for pick up. Customer service is surprisingly great here despite the influx of people. I overheard one cashier asking if the couple in front of us wanted to order another drink since it would be half off. My cashier thanked me for waiting and handed me another menu when I couldn't find what I wanted on the menu screen in front of me. She was patient and helpful. The menu doesn't mention toppings other than boba but they have jasmine tea jelly, sago, and other options. Unfortunately, they forgot my tea jelly but I didn't want to go back inside once I noticed. It was a 49 cent charge (which she informed me about) but I got half off one drink so it's ok. The employee calling out completed order numbers was very nice and told us if we had any questions, feel free to ask. They can also remake drinks if we're not satisfied. I also got some useful info about the two kinds of straws they have. They have the PLA straw for cold drinks and the degradable stronger paper straw for hot drinks. Teas: *Hot Bobo Milk Tea, no sugar added *Iced Matcha Jasmine Latte, no sugar added, 30% ice *Grapefruit Boom *Passionfruit Blast OMG I loved the hot milk tea & matcha jasmine! I tasted the matcha cream foam first and wow! It tasted like a strong but sweet, tea flavored salted cheese foam. It meshed so well with the delicate jasmine tea and fresh milk. I don't typically like overly floral green teas and this was right on! Best decision to get no sugar added. I used the sturdy paper straw for the hot milk tea with boba and WHOA the tea was prominent in flavor but light in brew! Paired excellently with the milk and the lightly sweetened chewy boba all just blew me away. I couldn't stop sipping the comforting hot milk tea. It was a horrible, terrible decision to finish the hot milk tea at 10pm because I literally could not sleep the whole night and went to work with the caffeine still in my system 10 hours later. It didn't help I drank 1/3 of the matcha jasmine because both were so darn delicious! Ok so I finished the latter when I got to work so I wouldn't fall asleep. Judge if you must, just try their drinks first. Interior is bright cream, warm and inviting with a few seats to the left but mainly standing room. The monitor system reminds me of Zero& but I like these drinks so much better. Excited to go back once the online order system is up and running. 15% off your first order after downloading their app! The bay area would like to give a warm welcome to.. HEYTEA! The second location of HeyTea opens in one of the busiest plazas in North San Jose. Not only is this plaza incredibly busy especially on weekends, but the line for HeyTea also adds to that congestion and long lines. The menu offers a fantastic selection of non-caffeinated drinks, teas, milk teas, lattes, and their own unique "booms". Each drink is priced at about $6-$8 each and the cups are pretty short and chubby. The supreme brown sugar milk tea seems to be one of their popular milk teas so of course I had to try it. It was soo creamy and had the perfect amount of sweetness as I had asked for "less sweet". The tea flavor is subtle but the best part is the boba. Its so chewy, soft and slightly sweetened from the syrup. I wouldn't call myself a boba consisseur but the boba was much better than the average boba shop. The online ordering system makes it soo much easier to place your order. The screen above the pick up area will display numbers so its easy to keep track of your order. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. We live just down the street from here so we will easily become regulars here. read more
I've been to HeyTea in Shenzhen, CN and so I was excited to see this place pop up! You can taste the tea and boba, and know that it's good quality. Very delicious. You order via a tablet in store, so there isn't much in terms of service that the workers provide outside of calling your order and giving you anything you need when you pick up. Since this place is new, the inside is very busy with a couple of seats. People are currently sitting and waiting for their tea and then leaving. All in all, really good boba tea. I only gave it 4 stars because it is rather pricy. If you don't mind paying, it's good quality. read more
My favorite tea spot recently. I've had friends say they didn't like other HeyTea locations, but have enjoyed this one specifically. I LOVE the matcha jasmine latte; it's the best I've tried. It's a perfect balance of florally jasmine, creaminess, and matcha. The coconut mango boom is a good creamy mango drink as well if you enjoy that, kind of like Hui Lau Shan. I've tried the Matcha Cloud Jasmine latte(?--can't remember the exact name) and Jasmine latte, their newer drinks, as well but didn't love them; the Jasmine tea tastes a little watery. The boba here is pretty good, it's a good sweetness. The store is in a VERY busy plaza, parking and leaving the plaza is hard at busy times. The store itself isn't too big, there's minimal seating (maybe 6 seats total?). You can order at a self-service kiosk or at the counter, and they have a screen showing orders in progress and completed which a pretty accurate wait time. It's been quite busy both times I've went, it took about 20 minutes for my drink to come out. I believe you can order ahead online as well. The baristas have been kind and accommodating despite the stressful order volume. Highly recommend! read more
After taking a look at the menu, we decided we had to make a stop in here after our hefty KBBQ dinner next door. Drinks were yummy and perfectly sweetened. The mango drinks were creamy, yet not too heavy, and the crisp grape was perfectly refreshing after our heavy meal. Love the aesthetic and vibe of the shop--very clean & minimal. When you order on the kiosk yourself, there's thorough descriptions for each drink and quite few options to select per drink, which I honestly appreciated. It was the perfect level of customization without there being too much selection for toppings and such. Will say the drinks took quite a while after ordering to come out, but that's to be expected after dinner hour. Definitely will be back to try the matcha and jasmine drinks!! But honestly would love to try everything on the menu because everything sounded delicious. read more
My friends and I came here after we ate, and the line was super long, stretching out the door. I actually thought it was for the Korean barbecue place but it wasn't. It took about an hour to get in, only to find out that we could've ordered online or used the self-kiosk. However, the kiosk wasn't really being used, and the workers didn't mention it, which felt like a bit of a miscommunication. After I placed my order, I had to wait about 30 minutes to get my drink. The drinks themselves were really good, but I wouldn't want to wait that long again. Next time, I'll order in advance and just pick it up. Keep in mind, this was a few weeks after the place opened, so I think as the initial hype dies down, it'll be a great Boba spot to visit. read more

Heard about this place being popular in HK. We stopped by thinking it will be a quick stop. We ended up waiting for over an hour. Good thing is I came with a friend so the hour wait went quick. They had a worker or two outside passing out the menu with a number on it and helped answer questions. Right now they offer a Buy One, Get One 50% Off deal. I would highly recommend trying this place with this deal so you can try flavors you always wanted to try, but didn't want to risk it. This place is different as their drinks are naturally flavored! The tea is light, but distinct. Their boba is super bouncy. I think I like their boba better than most others. They have a monitor that tells you when your order is being prepared and when it is ready for pick up. Like the efficiency of the systems. The workers are like a well oiled machine. Despite the crowd, they were able to serve over 100 plus people (I was #124) fairly quickly as their place was fully staffed. At first it looked like chaos when we finally got in, but they were incredibly efficient and kept the line moving smoothly. The ambiance is simple clean lines. Looks aesthetically pleasing. Overall, the line was long, but worth the wait! Update on 2nd visit. I ordered the same drink, but got this time. Instead of giving me a cup for hot, I received the same cup they use for cold drinks. Finally got to try HeyTea, and the fresh flavor of fruit was really good so I see the appeal! I ordered the grape cloud crisp, and luckily came in when there was 0 wait. Shop is really clean and maintained well, and the staff were very friendly. I did enjoy my drink but I wasn't blown away by it. It was hard to get all the fruit at the bottom because it wouldn't fit through the straw. It also wasn't too icy when I drank it but that's my fault, because I only drank it when I got home. All in all a solid place and I do want to try more of their drinks, so I will be back! read more
I went around 3 pm on a Tuesday so it wasn't crowded like I usually see around the weekends and after work hours. The store got busier 10-15 minutes after I ordered. I got the Matcha Cloud Jasmine Latte and the tea taste was good, however it was a little bit on the milkier side and I barely taste the matcha after mixing it into my drink. read more
After months of waiting, I'm excited to see all the Heytea locations opening in the Bay Area! The location by Hostetter was quite busy on opening weekend, but the wait wasn't too bad. The staff were fast and efficient which made the whole process of ordering and picking up drinks a lot easier. I'm looking forward to seeing the online order system come online, but in the meantime, it's not too bad of a wait at the store. Fruit teas such as the Crisp Grape Boom were unique and perfectly sweetened. I also tried the Coco Water Jasmine a couple days later, but the fruit teas were much tastier. Pros: Fast, friendly service. Drinks came out within 10 minutes of ordering which is impressive given the large crowds. Cons: Limited parking in the plaza shared between with the 99 Ranch, Gen BBQ, and quite a few other businesses. read more

One of the better places in the bay now. Glad they opened locations here! Definitely depends on the drinks you get! There boba milk tea was hella GASSSS *Creamy and solid boba balls *Great Tea flavor as well *No creamer either the mango coconut grapefruit drink 11/10. *Loved all fruits that made this drink *Grapefruit really cuts through and balances out the drink (even tho i'm normally not a fan of grapefruit) *You can even adjust the sweetness The cheese foam drink was uh meh 7/10. PERSONALLY not worth that 1.5 hour wait. But when the crowd dies down definitely worth swinging by . They should have at least one kiosk on top of another worker considering the line. They did get the drinks out really fast regardless of the crowd. The place is really clean looking with a modern minimalistic shop like some other recent ones that opened. Plaza parking is kinda ass tho. read more
