He mentioned that chloramine is the corrosive chemical in municipal water that eats through thin copper pipes (type-M) & that a catalytic carbon filter system would remove all chloramines. I also called a number of other companies & it was clear they weren't interested in spending the time texting & on the phone with me that Mike did. He set me up with a great dual catalytic carbon filter (to completely remove chloramines) & a soft water filter ( to treat hard water & remove calcium & magnesium). The system looks good & fits perfectly in a corner of our garage. Diamond Pure Water was also the lowest estimate of the 3 that I got.

I couldn't believe they managed to get the equipment in the small space beside my existing shelves. I previously had an under the skin RO but decided to upgrade since mine was 10 years old. I just had to text him some photos of my plumbing system for a quote. And, they had the best price. The new system has been in use for almost a month now and so far so good. After booking an installation appointment, the technicians arrived on time and two technicians installed the system in like 2 hours (which is fast in my opinion). One of my neighbors bought a softener system and hired a plumber to install the system as a weekend side hustle and that guy needed like half a day. They take Zelle or check payments.

I reached out and they got back to me real quick and with a great price for my water softener. The appointment was made, they showed up on time and walked me through what they were going to do. I asked them if they could add a spigot inside the garage so I could hook up a pressure washer and they said it wasn't a problem, just cover the cost of the materials and labor was free! Within about 2 hours, it was completed, granted I had a simple setup. I did have an issue with the water not being softened.
