Double burger with sautéed onions and sweet potato fries

Great experience. We got in and was greeted right away by a friendly hostess. We ordered and the food came out within 5 minutes. Everything was cooked to perfection and the cook even came from around the back to ask us if everything was good. Overall it was a pleasant experience and a good burger. Will be going back.

We just went to this restaurant for lunch for the first time. My Hubby had a double cheeseburger with all the fixings and fries. The cheeseburger was delicious! I enjoyed grilled cheese with cheddar cheese and fries and a sweet tea. All the food we had was just delicious and I look forward to going back another time for another meal. Staff was very nice and informative and they play good music and have TV's to watch while eating. We will return here!

Yum! Yum! Yum! This location is the best! The staff is friendly. Food is always fresh. My go-to is the Arch D-Lux, single patty with everything, fries, and strawberry shake. I highly recommend going in to sit down and eat. You'll be sure to leave with a full tummy and smile on your face. :)

Ordered the Toklahoma burger with bacon. Cooked to perfection. The service was excellent and friendly! Very clean and the music selection wasn't too shabby. As a STL native, having Ski soda products is an automatic win. The only kinda sorta "bad " thing is the fries...if they cook them just a little bit more then it would be five stars no questions asked.

Seriously? This is Hi Pointe's Chicken Sandwich for $9.50.

Here's a local joint that has all the makings of being a family tradition; fun atmosphere, lively and friendly staff, great location. But, and it's a big one, their food is overpriced and very sub-par. I had the Frisco Melt ($9.50) which while an ample portion was a grease and salt bomb. I had to pay 75 cents for 2 cents worth of grilled onions to boot. As well, it didn't come with anything else, so I added Fries and a soda for another $4.50. Ouch. My wife got the chicken sandwich for $9.50. See the picture I posted and judge for yourself. It was pitiful. Aside from being paper thin, it was dry and nothing else came with it. The manager came around asking how things were, and I pointed out the chicken sandwich. He said he'd look into it, but it was clearly lip service and we never saw him again. The manager might have gotten us back if he made amends, but nope. So, we won't be back. It's a shame as they opened with such fanfare, and the town needs someplace like this.

Totally different vibe than the one in hi pointe theatre area but food is still fantastic. I love that each location has its own special, it makes each location unique. The patio is large and very nice for summer time. The seating indoors is very large and spacious ( unlike the other locations I've gone to). Overall, great food.

We have been to the STL location multiple times but it was our first time at this location. Let me say, we were not impressed at all. For $22.50 for a burger and chili cheese fries. It was just worth the $$$ at all. Actually felt kinda ripped off. Smh. The fries were not fresh. They were cold and stale. The chili tasted worse then can chili. The only thing that was good was the burger. But we could have ordered a regular burger for under $10. At least service was good. Staff was friendly.

We stopped in during our 1st day in the area. THIS IS a hard spot to beat!! Food was great and Jackie was awesome - she went over the menu with us and gave recommendations. The service was spectacular and it was a fun place to spend the afternoon. I ordered the root beer float and when I saw her ring it up, I thought "there is no way it's going to be worth $6" IT WAS WORTH EVER SINGLE PENNY!!! Sooooooooo, delicious! My husband got the shake of the month, Strawberry Cheesecake. He said it was amazing and he wanted a whole 2nd one This place is ABSOLUTELY a MUST STOP while visiting the area!!!

The chicken sandwich special from the day before. I missed it and the staff was cool enough to re-make it for me.

Hi Pointe Drive In is new to O'Fallon Illinois. Tonight I had the double burger with the works, grilled onions, bacon and avocado. I also had the Brussel sprouts and a chocolate shake. The burger was delicious and enjoyable to eat. The chef stopped by our table and we had a laugh. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely put this stop on your burgers list in Southern Illinois. We also had live music from a guitarist, which was awesome to dine to. read more

This is one of our favorite guilty pleasures! The burgers are amazing, fries are perfect, and the shakes and extras are our favorite treat! Once again, a restaurant that doesn't live up to the hype. Burger was average, fries were hot and crispy, happy to see Excel on fountain but the soda quality was weird and tasted watered down. The OG chicken sandwich was absurd. Absolutely no flavor or seasoning, tough, and served on a cold bun. It did have a lot of pickles and I grabbed several condiments off the dining room trolley to make it edible. For two sandwiches, one soda, one fries and cheese, it was over $30. Ordered (3) burgers with fries and drinks. Two of the burgers came out hot, and were delicious; the fries with both of those were room-temperature and tough (which is strange for fries). My burger came out 20 minutes after the rest of my party's food, served at room-temperature on a bun straight out of the refrigerator (no exaggeration), fries were cold. I would have asked for my $15 back for my meal but the staff was in such disarray I decided it wasn't worth wasting any more of my time or effort on the place. Nearly $50 for 3 people to eat "okay" food, that's ridiculous. If they're going to provide a fast-food experience they should charge fast-food prices. read more

Stumbled on this gem on the way to the post office and couldn't have been happier I stopped in. They have a pretty extensive menu which I was pleasantly surprised by. Plenty of space. Can get a little noisy around lunch time, but if that's a problem for you you can enjoy your meal on the patio which makes the space even better. read more

A friend suggested this joint and said "they have the best burgers ever." That may be a slight exaggeration. It was busy upon arrival, but this is a new place and it was lunch time and to their credit, they got through the line pretty quick. Little hard to hear or communicate since they have the music turned up to 1000db, but we made it. Imagine a Freddy's and a Five Guys collabed on a joint. This was it. Burgers arrived very quickly. Quicker than expected. I had the Arch D Luxe burger and it was pretty tasty. If I was rating the burger alone, I'd say it was an 8/10. My experience overall is 4 stars. Here's why it's not a perfect 5: 1) it is very overstimulating in there. I almost felt stressed eating in there. There's no clear direction on where to go after the register. I was in line for the to go orders when I thought it was for the drinks. The loud music didn't help either. 2) With no clear direction on where to go, everyone was just kinda standing around and crowding certain places of the restaurant. 3) This place is very pricey. For me and my family, it was $50 with tip. If I were to spend that kind of money again, I'd stick with Five Guys simply for the fact that there's some form of order in there. Do I recommend this place? Yes, absolutely. Should you try this place if you like Five Guys? I'd say give it a shot, but my pick is still Five Guys. Is this a good family place with a great atmosphere to boot? Maybe not for your little ones with all the overstimulation. I'd recommend Red Robin if you want good burgers with your kids. read more

Obviously we had to try the newest Hi Pointe location! The food was FANTASTIC!!!! On top of that, the staff and cleanliness was amazing. The staff constantly stopped by to see if we needed anything, or anything cleaned up. I really hope they stay on this path, and hoping they open Uber Eats or something similar for the future! read more

I hate writing bad reviews. When we went, we had complete sticker shock. The food was unbelievably expensive and the drinks were in what I called soppy cups (they were very small and only come in one size). Then, the burger was just OK. The fries were so salty my ankles swole up like I was 9 months preggers. I LOVE cheeseburgers and I first tried Hi Pointe in STL. loved it. Food, people, everything. I was excited for ours to open but I have not been back since my first visit. . I may try them again because they lady who took my order was very kind which is a big plus for me. read more

Hello, I am writing this to help you in these times of trial in the USA. 1st) service was nice, polite, and helpful. 2nd) prices out the roof for a burger, one time purchase 3rd) The burger was a mess. So sloppy. Had to take my shirt off and grab a towel. 4th) fries were very limp and old. 5th) only black American employees. Black owned? Please give what you ask for. PS - I am sorry but I have not been able to get the beef grease smell off my hands. Alcohol, hydroperoxide, dawn, and now vinegar to hide the smell . Haven't had this problem since my first job at 15yrs with McDonalds. read more

First visit: I fell into the hype of the new opening. I went on a Friday around 1pm and caught the lunchtime rush. I placed my order for pick up through doordash and came at the referred times and still waited about 20 minutes. No real place to wait, staff was kind and attentive though. I ordered the salmon blt w/ brussel sprouts. That sandwich was some kinda marvelous! It was perfect in every way. I could've used more sauce (not sure what it was) but that's just my personal preference. It's a huge portion. I had half for lunch and the rest for dinner. A quick zap in the microwave and it was still as delicious. The Brussels... rather the pork and brussel sprouts. It's a weird complaint to have but more vegetables in my vegetables, please! If the pork overpowers the veggies, it becomes a pork dish. This is very much bacon and brussel sprouts, so be prepared. Overall, very nice and I'll be back. I wouldn't make it to point to go. But it is a nice option in the area. read more

We stopped in on a weekday, there was a line that moved pretty quick with two cashiers working. We ordered a little bit of everything and enjoyed ourselves. The food was good, but just good. It was decent food in my opinion. I didn't get a milkshake so I will have to come back and check those out. I got a turkey burger and sweet potato tots. I had the Hi-Chicken Stepper special. So good! Food was fresh, hot, and as advertised. Sweet potato tots are a nice twist on an old favorite. My husband had the Taco Burger which was delicious. Only suggestion would be to make it a double patty. We will definitely be back! read more

This place has the best burgers I've ever had !! I have been here 5 times already and everything I have tried was absolutely amazing !! The margaritas are to die for !!! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is uplifting and fun to be there , their fire pit outside definitely adds a great touch . I love this food chain, just not this location. Burger came out way over cooked and had black chunks on the bottom that just looked like the grill hadn't been cleaned. Washington Ave, Hi pointe neighborhood, and Kirkwood are all second to none locations but I was not impressed with the effort that went into a $20 meal. read more

First time to Hi-Point. Ordered Arch deluxe Frisco Melt Sweet Potato Tots and 2 drinks. You order and they bring the food out to you and they want a tip ( you make your own drinks) ? Okay $35 later the Arch Deluxe comes out and 10 minutes later the Frisco Melt and tots. The Frisco Melt had a spicy taste to it. I asked why? And they said maybe the sauce??? Whatever.
