I absolutely loved this place. I was in the mood for hibachi and looked up some spots, and this place came up. There is one in Durham, but I felt like driving out to Cary. It was in an easy to find area, and very nice. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the nicest woman ever. We had a great conversation about our love for NSYNC lol. I picked up my order, and ate it as soon as I got home. Cary is a good 15 to 20 minute drive from where I live, and the food was super hot still! I ordered the hibachi chicken and shrimp with clear soup and crab rangoons. Everything was delicious. I wish there were more vegetables with the hibachi, but I know next time to just order extra vegetables next time. I will definitely be back here soon.

Overall, it's a good spot for take out. The portions were generous, food was not over seasoned, and pricing is very reasonable. I had the steak and shrimp and was pleasantly surprised by how much food I received. The fried rice was average at best, but you can upgrade to noodles. If you need a take out spot, this will do just fine.

Solid fast Chinese spot. I tried the soa chicken noodles and a miso soup. The miso soup was delivered to my table first and a few minutes later the noodles. Both were very hot which is excellent. The miso soup was average, but for just 2.28 I can't knock it much. The noodles had an excellent flavor. The zucchini was cooked all the way through, but retaining a slight crunch almost like a slightly meatier pickle. the quantity was large enough for just about anybody's hunger. The total of the meal was 11.67. I would definitely return here if I'm looking for a decent lunch with quick downtime.

This new, cute spot had really high reviews so we decided to try it. I ordered hibachi steak and shrimp & my ordered shrimp fried rice. The steak was a rubbery and dry. The sauce they gave me really didn't help. The shrimp was okay but would've preferred larger size. My husband said the fried rice taste like it was prepared from an instant meal and not fresh. The crab Rangoon was good. They need to upgrade their plastic forks from those flimsy cheap kind and move away from styrofoam while dining in the restaurant. I gave it a Three because it wasn't bad but also wasn't great.

Hidden in the corner of a plain Jane Lowe's Food shopping center in Morrisville, it's very easy to miss Hibachi88. It's not fancy but it is a good fast casual healthier option for this part of West Cary. This is the standard order at the counter & they cook to order. The only issue I had was that we had to repeat our order 3-4 times to the young girl behind the counter & she still had the order wrong. Entrees were all served in disposable to-go containers with plenty of white and ginger sauces. They all came with fried rice and sautéed veggies. Food was flavorful as well made but the steak was very chewy.

Food was awful. Miso soup tasted like water and the rice tasted like gruel. Chicken was ok.

I had already looked at the menu online and knew what I wanted: shoyu ramen. The order was served with a spoon, a side plate and a paper towel. There was 1 soft-boiled cut into two halves and ample amounts of scallion, menma and braised pork belly. The latter had a rich flavor, helped in no small part by the pork and chicken broth. Not only that, the broth complimented the rest of the ingredients; the egg was enjoyable. My only (minor) complaint is the portion size of the ramen itself. It was smaller than I would like. The lady that served me was probably (best guess) the owner. Her service was impeccable. In addition, Kinoko has a pleasing amenity not found in most restaurants: an AC outlet at every table that was by the wall. This was very handy for a heavy user of laptops and phones like myself. Although there was music playing in the background, it wasn't loud. The server and I were able to hear each other, and I could also hear the voices of others at the bar. The restroom had an interesting decor of newspapers for wallpaper. That was something I didn't see elsewhere. If you love good ramen, come to Kinoko Ramen. If you like a quiet place to dine in, come to Kinoko Ramen. Perfect scores in food, service and atmosphere.

It wasn't crowded, but it was doing a lot of takeout for a ramen spot (generally a food best enjoyed fresh). The mala ramen (a mix of spicy and tingly sensations) that I sought delivered on the premise. It was a fascinating flavor mix, with some harsh notes that would be a discovery for those that haven't had mala before working well because of the balance of salty and savory flavors and some nice greens and sweet corn. It was unique and I enjoyed it. They had some appetizers and things that I wasn't hungry enough for, but I did wash it down with tea. It was a very reasonable price given how the hipster ramen market has gone. And they had enough menu options that returning would be worthwhile. I ended up going to the other local ramen place anyway the next day, and I would say that both were really good. You can't go wrong.

The broth had great depth, the spice provided a nice kick, loved all the different toppings but I do think there could have been more pork. - Tonkatsu Ramen (Signature rich pork broth, pork belly, bamboo shoot, wood ear mushroom, green onion, 1/2 seasoned soft-boiled egg, thin straight noodles): Same great broth as the tan tan, chashu was perfectly fatty and tender, liked all the toppings again. The noodles themselves didn't really stand out to me. - Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box (Dashimaki, shrimp shumai, salad, pickles, rice, miso soup): Ehh... this was fine, but I'd definitely skip it next time. For the price, the quantity and quality of everything but maybe the chicken (which was smoky but way too sweet) was lackluster. - Chicken Curry Don (Panko breaded chicken cutlet, Japanese-style curry sauce, potato, carrot, onion, nori): The chicken was crispy, but quantity was so small. Curry was tasty, but inadequately warmed. - Raindrop (Plant-based ice jelly, brown sugar syrup, soybean powder): Such a unique dessert- ofc the visual is great, but the texture was interesting and it was subtly sweet too. Ambiance is nice, but the space is pretty small. Service was fast and friendly. There's plentiful parking. 7.5/10 would recommend!

My wife and I booked a reservation for 5:30 PM, and the booking system was a little strange. First, you have to wait for the restaurant to confirm your reservation, so you're basically just submitting a request. Also, there's an "Assignments" selection in the reservation form which has a possible value of 1, 2, or 3. No idea what it means so I left it blank. Then, the next day, we received a curt text telling us that our reservation was confirmed and that they would only hold our table for 5 minutes. I mean, geez, I get it, but how hard is it to say "Thank you for dining with us!" or something to that effect? Not a huge deal, obviously, but kind of funny :) Our server did a pretty good job throughout the meal. The food was prepared quickly and it was very good! My two sushi rolls were very tasty, and my wife's sashimi was definitely fresh. Because we ate there in the late afternoon, there were also some happy hour specials that I appreciated ($13 for any specialty roll, and $6 for certain beers). The beer selection wasn't bad at all, and of course they had sake as well. Overall, we had a really good time at Sushi Suyu and would definitely come back!
