I have been here several times, and it's hit or miss with this place. Sometimes the food is hot and fresh and sometimes it's not. There is a wide variety of food items, but I'm still trying to figure out why French fries, pizza, chicken nuggets, mac & cheese and other non-asian food in put (probably for the kids) out, but I did try a few. I did not try the Chicken Nuggets or the mac & cheese (maybe next time), but the pizza was not good, tasted like a piece of cardboard with melted cheese on it, the fries had no flavor and were cold, so those are a no-go. Overall, everything I tried was either cold or warm, nothing was really hot and/or fresh. I was disappointed that there was no General Tso's Chicken on the day I went, but they did have many other option. I've come here several times now (my family goes once a week) and can say this is a really solid buffet. The food is always fresh, even on a weekday night! These photos were taken on a Monday. Service is really fast and it's really clean inside. There's plenty of space too. Highly recommend coming here since it's been awhile we had a solid Asian buffet in the area. read more

I think they cracked the code on keeping toddlers calm during meal time! As soon as we walked in my daughter was obsessed with the fun fish wall and they very nicely sat us right next to it. The entire staff was super friendly, attentive and accommodating. The place was very clean, the food was very good and the price was ideal. So many options to choose from that we got full before trying the hibachi and sushi, will have to return. The only thing I wish they had was some ice cream topping instead of plain ice cream, maybe something simple like sprinkles or chocolate syrup would have been great. We went as it was the tenth anniversary of my father passing away, and we all decided dinner instead of sorrow. As we stepped in, I had vibes of a dim sum place in Manhattan: round tables, bright lights, super clean. We ordered our drinks and went to the buffet. The food was fresh, gone quickly and replaced instantly. No off flavors, fried items tasted they were cooked in fresh oil, and just tasty! The waitstaff is fast. I mean, ask for drinks, at your seat in less than 3 minutes. That's lightning quick. The music was playing but at a volume that you can hear it but not have to shout to hear someone across the table. They made our experience and enjoyable one and dampened the blow on what would normally be a painfully rough day. read more

I was excited to drive by to see that a Japanese buffet was opening up on Farmington Avenue in the same plaza at Market 32. My wife and I waited patiently for the week when it would open and headed right in. Let me start out with the positives, the sushi selection although limited to 3-4 kinds (california roll, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura and another), it was delicious. The seating is plentiful. You are seated by hostess and assigned a server (like most buffets) who asks for what you want to drink and refills throughout the meal. The server/staff were very nice and came to check on us regularly even though the place was quite busy. Unfortunately for us (my wife and I), outside of the sushi and service, the food wasn't very good. It was at best, OKAY, but for the price of the buffet, I didn't think it aligned and felt like I had should of went to a chain restaurant for less. Variety was decent but I felt some options you would expect to be there, werent. In addition to that, I had bad experience with one of the items. The General Tsao Chicken had a strong off putting smell. I hadn't realized it until after I put it on my plate and in plentiful amount as its usually my safe "go to". The restaurant had a rule (as most Asian buffet do) that they will charge you for plates you dont eat. Since I didn't feel like challenging that, I mustered through eating all the General Tsao chicken and anything that touched it. The chicken itself they use for the General Tsao looked like what was left of the chicken too, little tiny pieces of who knows what. Perhaps that contributed to the scent. I'll never know. Honestly I'm quite disappointed in my experience and won't make my way back in the future unless some of the food selection and quality of it changes. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with the service & food here! We were visiting some family here for the week & decided to try something new. There's a few sushi options (all very fresh), and a pretty large variety of everything else. I'm usually a somewhat picky eater yet found I cleared most of my plates with ease! We were a party of 6 and seated within 5 minutes. With two small children that's a huge win! As any buffet everyone went back for quite a few plates yet the staff was very attentive at clearing plates as needed. Overall it was a pleasant experience and we will be back! read more

I was disappointed as the pics on their website showed fried shrimp and those red pork spare ribs, neither of which were on the buffet. later a waitress told me they had been on earlier in the week and items change daily. so I only gave them a three star. that being said, I will give the pros and cons. their vegetables were probably the best I have ever experienced on a buffet, especially the corn on a cob. but there was no salt at the table so you had to go up and put some in a small container then sprinkle with your finger. green beans were done to perfection. since this was the opening week it was very crowded. but service was excellent. They kept running out of items due to large number of people there. they had a beef roast that was good. for me and my grandson personally, the shrimp had a bit too much pepper. The chicken wings were large but a bit tough as if they ha$ been cooked too quickly. there was a good assortment of fresh fruit and melons and the cakes on the dessert bar were fresh, not dry as at son e buffets. Ice cream but no sherbet. I would come again as it is a closer drive than Imperial China, but only if I called first to see what they were having that day. read more

It was just as bad, if not worse. You can tell after tasting the chicken... it is the cheapest chicken money can buy. The broccoli tasted rancid, I couldn't even eat it. I made 6/7 trips to the bar to find something good, there was nothing... We have been to the new Buffet restaurant in town three times. While the food has been good and the variety was nice, I've got sick the next day every time. I've been tracking my system, so I know it came from Hibachi Buffet. Something I ate didn't well with my stomach. Everything else about the restaurant was good. Beautiful place, extremely clean and bright. I was seated right away and received my drink within 2 minutes. Food is exceptionally flavored with seasonings. One thing I would have to consider that several items are not hot or have been sitting for some time, if you eat at buffets though, it's not a big deal. I went 3 weeks after it had open bc the first time I went they told us they where no longer serving anyone bc they didn't have enough food so that was a bummer so we waited till they got their stuff situated and when we went there was a lot of ppl but to be expected thank goodness we didn't wait long bc my bf had gotten their before us and was able to get us seated, we get seated we get drinks the lady that gave us our drinks was nice didn't interact much but we don't really care what got me upset was the sushi guy I grabbed some sushi and when I asked him what type of sushi was a certain one that I don't know the name of bc there's no labels on the sushi that are in display he tells me if you don't like it don't eat it like ok? This is not Japanese Food. My friends went for lunch on day one and the hibachi was out of order. We all went back the second day for dinner. The food was not fresh. There is only tiny pieces of raw tuna. They had a beautiful plate of sushi but I pointed to the yellow-tail and the chef said NO that is just for show! Bait and Switch Day 2 No real sushi Hibachi still out of order. No actual Japanese foods rubbery chicken fatty inedible meat. Staff was nice and friendly and did not mind the many children's hands touching things like cakes, then putting them back in the tray. Kids not being looked after. Its a buffet, There are so many viruses out there. I felt it looked clean but its not warm inviting atmosphere. They will most likely never see the crowds they had on the first two days. read more

In the fast food mecca of Bristol..this is the Gold star premiere eating establishment.. Bristol doesn't have much but attitude but this restaurant is a 100% plus in this sleepy dreary little town. I went with my family last week around 4pm in the afternoon. Which is probably the best time to go since they get really busy later on I'm the evening. That being said no one I was with had any complaints. I myself like the sushi and the sweet chili shrimp. The desert was limited and I wish they had green tea ice cream or mochi but that can be found at any other strictly Japanese restaurant. This is a buffet and not strictly Japanese so you got to give the a little credit for what they did have at least was good. We haven't been to an Asian buffet since Covid and decided to give the new restaurant a try. Everything seemed clean and bright when we entered and we were greeted with a smile and shown to our table. Our drink order was taken and we moved on to peruse the food tables. We started with hibachi and were pleased with the selection of beef, chicken and shrimp along with multiple choices of vegetables, noodles and rice. Our choices were cooked to order and served quickly. Upon sampling the 15 or so choices of sushi, I must admit that I was a little disappointed. I personally found it to be a little on the bland side. I did try a few of the other items on the full tables in the center of the large well lit room and found the all to be quite tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for good food at a reasonable price. There are no wine stewards or chefs touching your table, but certainly value in every dish. read more
