I am writing this review three hours after leaving this place on Thursday, 9/29/22. I had diarrhea two hours ago, and the food here was the only thing I ate today. My fiance also had diarrhea and we both have stomach aches shortly after leaving this place. Weekday lunch is $15. I came here about a year ago when I first moved to Michigan and it was $12. I would expect a place like this to cost $8-$10 but I know prices have gone up everywhere so that's no longer the case. Note that if you have 6+ people, they will charge a 15% gratuity fee. They also charge you an extra 2.8% if you pay by credit card. They call it a "cash discount" but really seems more like tax evasion. So the prices you see on their menu are the "cash" price. Though a lot of Asian restaurants and bakeries do this. Anyways the food variety is mostly of a typical Asian buffet - you got the nasty baked cheese seafood, triple french delight, and a bunch of greasy/fried foods. The sushi selection was 90% california rolls (fake crab + avacado) with a random topping and that's it. Sad to see such a limited amount of noodles, rice, and stir fry - but the food was heavily geared towards Americans and not Asians. The labels did not match a lot of the food. They had four different soups and four different hot pots. Not sure if the steam buns were filled because the labels weren't accurate. Did not see any pork buns, custard buns, mung bean buns. Did not have taro soup but maybe that is not a thing in this part of USA. Cleanliness - Some of the plates seem dirty with caked on food that was not washed off completely, so you should always check your plate (same applies to all buffets). I did not notice any bugs like some people had mentioned. I am not sure whether they supply you with utensils when you sit down, but we did not receive any. They also only had spoons and knives up where the food is, so no forks or chopsticks... I think they may have just forgotten to give us a set though. Overall I would not eat here again. This has probably been the worse Asian buffet I have been to. Regret giving this place a second try. Will need to try Fuji Buffet again (more expensive than this place) and compare but I don't think it'd be hard to beat lol. read more

Horrible experience was there 20 minutes no crab legs then they brought 1 small bowl out, had to beg for refill of water, was there an hour and only got 1 small cluster of crabs my husband got none, charged a $3 credit card fee that was not told or posted anywhere.sushi had what appeared to be mayo and nasty sauces all gobbed all over it, crab ragoons tasted like the cream cheese was bad was very sour. Concerns are raised about the hygiene of this place, as cockroaches crawl around diners' utensils and also near the beverage dispenser. No one seems to be cleaning up the hygiene here. I even saw them cleaning moldy grapes to serve to the customers. Eating here is a gamble on not getting sick. Why isn't there an institution to manage restaurants with such poor sanitation? Was just here yesterday. May 2, 2023. We used to love this place. Especially how clean it used to be. We had not been in about 8 months and we were very disappointed. I think it was the dirtiness. Everything you touch feels dirty. Like a build up of dirt. I touched the napkin holder to get a napkin and immediately had to go wash my hands. It had not been wiped down in minimum a several months. They let us watch the security footage but not the whole footage??? Why not if you have nothing to hide? So we called the cops & they wanted the footage as well but then they wouldn't let us watch the footage anymore. Then told us to go check back where we were sitting again and it was in the booth behind us shoved into the cushion(it was not there before the cops showed up, we checked everywhere). They only gave it back because the cops showed up. Food is TRASH anyway, find a different restaurant. Although I'd like to jump in joy and say, "oh, it's sooo good you should definitely try it," there are some things that I don't like. 1. Food is good, but sometimes I feel like I'm getting the same thing over and over again. 2. They have Christmas decorations still out. This weirds me out because it's the middle of July, but hey! The food is pretty good. Have a problem with the servers in the dining room having little hospitality. They make you feel like after one round of food you have to leave. The place has rarely been full when we have been there. I also am put off by the fact they practically beg you for a tip. I am ok with leaving something for their efforts, but we had one server outright ask for their tip and another walk with us to the cash register area and have a hand out for a tip when she gave me back my change. My husband and I had lunch here today for the first time. Most of the fried food was tough to eat, not much flavor either. The only thing I actually enjoyed was the pepper steak. The food could be warmer, hot even, but it tastes fresh and not like it's been sitting out all day. I saw the staff constantly refilling food items as they got low. My friend and I went on Monday and the price was great at $13.99. I believe crab legs are available on Friday for a higher charge. There is a sushi station, and a hibachi grill although I didn't see anyone on this station assisting customers. This place is bomb. Food tastes like it just got done cooking! I'm really impressed with the amount of stuff they had and the flavors from all the different foods. My favorite has to be the orange chicken. It was so soft and crunchy, the flavor was there. It's probably the best orange chicken I've ever had! Not kidding. Crab Rangoon is always one of the items I eat when going to buffets and they killed it with flavor and texture too! One of the employee was nice enough to give a customer a mask. If you don't wear one when going to grab the food. They want you to wear your mask when getting up at all times. Customer service was good, nothing I can complain about. I only have one thing to mention though, they don't give out gloves. So everyone is touching the tong's to grab food. Which I think, should be a priority concern considering there's a pandemic. Well what can I say. I'm not one to write posts. If the food or service sucks eh it could be an off night. We all have those days but not this. My wife and I were on our way home and decided to just grab something to eat. We know we weren't expecting some 5 star establishment but we definitely weren't expecting this.... Yes that is some sort of cockroach. It happened today (2/24/20) at about 1:30-2:30. Needless to say we won't ever be coming back. Our family love buffets, golden corral and a few others to name. But this buffet was disgusting. The food was sub-par. For the $17 a person price, you think the food would be fresh or filled up. I went for lunch on 2.21.22. I was looking for a place like benihana, so I was shocked when u walked in to see an all you can eat Chinese food restaurant. I wanted to leave but my kids were excited when they saw the variety of Chinese food. ). I had made a meal that they cooked on the hibachi (similar to bd mongolian) & a few chicken items from the buffet. Well by the end of the day I was vomiting & had the runs (at different times thank goodness). It was a terrible experience to be that sick.... within like 2 hours of eating. We did not have a good experience. The wrapped silverware had a filthy spoon inside. The salt and pepper shakers were so disgusting my hand stuck to it. There was a sign stating buffet $17.99, 1 lb crab legs $24.99. We assumed incorrectly that for $24.99 it would include buffet and crab legs. We were shocked to be charged $42.98 each. Had a relatively ok experience until I received a bank notification about my payment being updated to $41. I went by myself and left a $5 cash tip. I paid at the counter $20. According to them I also left an additional $20 card tip after the fact. Why would I leave a $25 tip which is more than my total when they ignored me the entire time? I called to try and resolve this. I have all the proof I need. I told them they have two business days to fix this or I'm going to the police because one of their employees decided to steal. I have to say first that this is my go to Chinese place around town but the last time I was here the Hibachi was awful and spicy when it shouldn't have been, I thought it was a one time thing it wasn't. I came back today the guy doing the Hibachi took my food dumped it on the grill and went to the back like he had something better to do came back much later flipped it and dumped sauce (wasn't cooked in it) then put on a plate again it was spicy (wrong sauce) and dry because it wasn't cooked in it was ignored, I asked for sushi special (they make for me all the time) he told me they don't do special requests I even showed him the sign that said if you don't see what you like ask for it special made, he informed me that sign is probably 10 years old they don't do special requests eat what's out. Despite the poor to mediocre reviews, a friend told me about his visit to this place and it was positive. So I ended up going to it with him yesterday evening. Now, typically, I'm not a huge fan of buffets for obvious reasons (the general clientele are usually filthy and inconsiderate, etc.), and I know other people are not as well for these reasons, which is why I took the reviews with a grain of salt. It's simply rare to come across a buffet with glowing reviews. I have to say, I didn't have a negative experience. The waitress was friendly enough. We were immediately sat and our drink orders were promptly taken. The drinks were also brought to the table relatively quickly. It wasn't too much of an issue getting refills, either. The buffet area was clean and presentable. All of the foods (the ones that I chose to try, anyway) were hot and tasted fresh. While we were there staff came to refill certain entree items several times, so food options were not empty for very long. This includes the sushi--it was also well stocked and tasted great. All in all, I was impressed and will most likely return in the future. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! Me and my partner decided to try a new Chinese buffet since the one that we usually go to near us closed. First, when we arrived the lady at the front stared at us and didn't say anything until we walked up to the wait to be seated sign, that we didn't know was there because we had never been to the establishment before. Second the selection is horrible. Compared to any other Chinese buffet there is barely anything to choose from. The only variety is maybe the sushi. Third, the food was COLD. And hard because it has been sitting out for so long. I know at a buffet it must be hard to switch out the old for fresh food but they literally had staff just standing out at the buffet staring at you pick up the food so they had to know it was old. Fourth, the staff stares at you eat! They stare at you while you get your food and stare at you at your table so they can rush in and take your plate. One of the attendants bumped right into me rushing to get my plate. And finally when we were not even done eating and were about to get up to get dessert when the lady who wasn't even the one refilling our drinks, came with the bill and stood there until we gave our card to pay. She would not leave until we gave her the card. And when we came back she told us that we had to tip her 5 dollars. Like it was mandatory. We tip everywhere we go but this was just outrageous. This place really was a disappointment and I would not recommend for anyone to come here. We were ignored, rushed, stared at, had bad service and the food was NOT GOOD.
