The food was actually delicious, I could eat here on the regular if it wasn't for the other issues. A young man who wasn't our server or the cook, checked on us to see how we were and was very friendly. He had no dog in the fight, just seemed to be the only one interested in us being happy with our experience. He's probably the one you need running the place. The bad: As stated in a two year old review, cook on his phone, never said two words to us. Just pushed the food around with a stick when he wasn't texting. The place is filthy. It seriously needs to close for a week and deep clean. It has a ton of potential if you can only get some people who care about it. Food on the floor, grill looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. (We were there in evening) The decor is dated and so are the colors. Again, that can be overlooked if it's clean. But ugly walls and filthy floors do not make you want to return. Even though the food is greatA, I doubt I'd return. Cleanliness is a huge issue for me being a transplant patient. I can't afford to get food poisoning or bacteria from old food. Not that it was an issue this time, but when everything else is so dirty it makes you wonder if food dates are checked and things like that. I prefer to eat local, so if the owner reads this, I sure hope you can address some of the issues you have and apparently have had for a while.
