I have had 2 custom wiring jobs done at HID Kit Pros over the last 6 months and have left happy both times. The lead tech has always been super friendly, understanding, and has always prioritized getting me the look i want out of my truck. They have gone over the hours budgeted both times but chose to honor the estimate they gave me. Inspecting the wiring work they did myself shows an amazing attention to detail and sound technical practice. They also told me that if i ever encounter a problem they stand behind their work. I replaced some tired halogen low beams with Hylux ballast and Mirimoto HID 5K and the system know has held up perfectly for over 5 years now. I also replaced the entire headlight assemblies (Hella) which i brought in myself and they did the correct way to install/convert the outdated lights. This many years later I have no inside "spider webs" nor any UV fade or discoloration on the inside or outside whatsoever. I know there are newer systems now perhaps but this setup for an electronically sensitive vehicle works perfectly. Makes the older ML500 vehicle look brand new. read more

I love my 2009 Toyota Matrix, but what I didn't love was how bad my headlight casings were all fogged and gunked which tends to happen over time and under certain conditions. I got the car preowned, so I just dealt with it but between that and the standard halogen headlights, it was just becoming a chore driving at night. Luckily the boys at HID Kit Pros took a look, quoted me and kept pretty good communication with me about the whole process. I opted to go with headlight restoration for the time being. They did a terrific job, special thanks to Richard. I brought my car in and left it overnight so that the solutions they put on my headlights would settle. As a result, my lights look like new and of course that means I can see much better at night, which can be even more harrowing in low lit roads and streets. I may do more lighting work for my car, and I'll be sure to check in with HID, I'd recommend you do the same. Terrible product. The lights blew fuses in my Cadillac. I contacted the company and they told me it wasnt their fault. I took off the HID lights, changed the fuses and everything worked fine. Reinstalled the HID lights, blew the fuses again. Then after returning the product I was only refunded half and I paid for shipping both ways. They told me there was a "restocking" fee, even tho the products didn't work as advertised, and that they don't refund shipping. I will NEVER used this company again and will advise anyone I know to avoid at all cost. read more

I had the team at HID Kit Pros install these Diode Dynamics Stage 2, 2" lights on my 2023 Hyundai Elantra N. The job looks and operates at a factory installed level. All the fabrication was done in house to a very high standard, at what I feel is a very reasonable price. Lights have exceeded my expectations for something so compact. The output of these is exceptional. Especially the added peripheral lighting which really lights up the shoulders, and enhances your vision through tight corners. These lights have a wide spread, just what I wanted, and fill in all the gaps of the factory lighting system, on both high and low beams. Extremely pleased. I will definitely be using HID Kit Pros in the future. They will be seeing my Mini Cooper and possibly my Corvette in the near future. read more

This is already my 2nd car here at HID Kit Pros to do an upgrade on my cars. My 2020 Nissan Altima SR doesn't come with fog lights (only on Altima Platinum), so I did some research and emailed the sales rep at HID Kit Pros to see if that would work on my vehicle, after 3 weeks of communication I have decided to purchase the fog lights on Amazon. The fog light was perfectly installed on my vehicle, they had to drill a hole inside of my car to add the light switch for these fog lights, it was really clean and looks like it came with the car originally. My beloved e-Golf had one terrible flaw - terrible headlights. Even the IIHS agreed and rated them poor, which is a real problem when you drive on as many unlit roads as I do. So I brought my e-Golf in and chatted with them about upgrades. In the end we did LED and after a few nighttime drives I gotta say I'm impressed, without a doubt the lighting is now on par with cars I've had with factory xenon lights. I'm not a car guy, which has always led to impatience and manipulation from mechanics. These guys were completely night and day from that. Can't recommend enough. They are straight up customer service oriented therefore put us before their bonuses and commissions (I don't know how it works but they never pressure sold me anything so I'm assuming) I went in having purchased a Land Rover and not knowing anything about its history. These guys took a couple hours to go over it with a fine tooth comb. Looked at every nook and cranny, every computer blip. They said the car was in amazing condition and they struggled to find something wrong. "Maybe down the road you'll want to swap the battery but everything's coming back normal at the moment." I actually found them while I was still living in Hawaii a few months back and I knew I needed to replace my crappy headlights when I moved up here but didn't wanna bite the bullet on the price since they only offered the Morimotos. This place is legit. After spending a few weeks looking into remote starters for a manual transmission, I was told that it was not possible from many places on Yelp until I've talked to Brian here at HID Kit Pros. I explained my situation to Brian, letting him know the specifics of how I wanted a remote starter for my manual transmission by only having my OEM key fob & to not have the engine turn off when the doors open. He knew exactly what I was talking about and told me that they could do it, no problem. Literally every business on Yelp either told me it was not possible or directed me to Best Buy or Car Toys. There's no way in hell I'd take my car to either of those places, I'm looking for quality work. I also inquired about replacing my headlights and fog lights and got an estimate for them. I booked my appt and went in. Brian had everything all set up for me as I walked in and had estimated my car to be done around 6pm day of for the installation of the remote start, HID low beams, LED high beams, LED fog lights and all of my exterior and interior bulbs to LED's. Aaron was the person to install the remote starter into my car and throughout the day, he'd call me to update me on the installation. There were a few hiccups during the installation and I was already expecting it during the process. Aaron did a fantastic job with communication and am glad that he kept my car overnight for quality of work that he has done because I knew it wasn't going to be easy. I had been the guy who tried to fix my headlights by buying one-off HID bulbs on Amazon and putting them in myself. That is not my skill set and it was time to pay for someone to do it right. My appointment made it easy and the turn around time was excellant. Aaron upgraded my lights and found a number of other issues with the car that other mechanics had overlooked or been sloppy about. There were a couple of issues that needed follow-up, and he put in some notes for this to happen in the coming days. I could not be happier with the professionalism. My lights are brighter, more efficient in the dark Seattle winter and properly adjusted (oh, I never paid attention to adjustment when I was in DIY mode). Although I was not in the market for super bright off road accessories, I was impressed at all the types of after market lights they have to offer. I had one of my trucks upfitted here. They are very knowledgeable and professional. Their work is high quality. But they are also very expensive. Be forewarned. I'm not sure if I would continue to use them just because there are many other truck upfitters within an hours drive that are just as good and more affordable. But like I said they do good work - certainly not going to take that away from them. But I probably paid double what it would have cost me to do the same job at another shop. I have had both of my cars through the shop. Upgraded my wife's Santa Fe to HID low beams and my TL with HID 3K fog lights. Both times the staff has been professional, informative and friendly. Their estimates/prices are very reasonable and thus far I have had no issues with their installation work. So, I had a headlight bulb out on my recently bought 18 Ram 1500. I did the normal thing a non mechanically inclined guy would do, I youtubed how to fix it! Well imagine my surprise when I finally got the headlight out of the truck to realize, that I had a bulb I had never seen before, HID lights, there was a bunch of stuff, ballast, can-bus'. It was overwhelming to say the least. Well, what to my wondering eyes did appear? The name HIDproskit.com. I was able to google the company, make a phone call, and got ready to get a new bulb, when the sales person asked, are you sure it's a bulb and not the ballast?! Upgrading the audio on newer vehicles can be a challenge, since many functions go through the infotainment system, changing out the factory deck may not be feasible. I wanted to add some bass to my stock stereo and wanted to do it right! Right off the bat, I was impressed. Emphatic +1 for HID Kit Pros. I bought a used 2012 Lexus IS250 that was in awesome condition BUT it didn't have HIDs. It ain't a Lex unless it has headlight blingage right? Enter Ayse and Aaron into the equation. Don't be fooled by the cute face, Ayse (pronounced Ai-ee-sha) is a car girl and knows lighting. I wanted the closest thing possible to stock HID (clean white and blue light). The lighting kit and installation was ~$350. It comes with a 5 year warranty and the installer stud Aaron really took his time, tested out multiple bulbs, and simply did a PHENOMENAL job. The light is clean with a white and slight blue hue, and the cut-off is excellent. Being the Asian driver that I am, the HIDs really help with the rainy nights in Seattle. I ordered through online for my ML350. The bulb they sent is defective. After 5 mins. of use one bulb turns off. I have message multiple times but received no replies. I called the store and spoke to a lady, she's not much of a help. I just wanted the defective bulb replaced, she went on and on about them testing their kits before sending. We'll I wouldn't have complained if its working properly duh! Since the bulb is the issue I didn't like the yellow color of 4700K bulb they have so I asked if they could replace for 5000K. Lady says they can only replace for the same kind. I spend 200$ worth of products for them to piss me off more. So I said I just want to return everything and call it quits. Guess what they don't do return on used products. I just effing installed this kit last night. Trust me don't buy here! What kind of company is this? Don't buy here. You'll be better off at AMAZON kits why oh why I didn't trust my instinct. These people don't care about customers. This company has to update their return policy. DO NOT BUY HERE!!!! read more

I ordered LEDs for my 2020 Tundra, both for the interior and for the exterior rear lighting. The interior LEDs were fine and the company included a handy tool to assist in removing the bulb overs, which was appreciated.The interior bulbs were also nicely labled as to where they went inside the truck. Unfortunately the same could not be said for the exterior lighting. All the LEDs were in separate packaging, but none were labled, so I then figured out which went where on my own. It would have been easier if any of the LEDS had part numbers on them, as I documeneted all part numbers for my order, but they don't. It was further complicated by the fact that HKP sent me rear turn signal bulbs that were not what I had ordered, without an explanation. I contacted them and was told that they sent me these because they "provided better light", despite the fact that per their website I had ordered the LEDS they reported were brighter. The bulbs they sent me cost $24 less than what I ordered, yet I was still charged for the more expensive ones originally ordered and it required a request on my part for a refund of that difference. It also took about two weeks to see the $24.00 refund show up on my card. Then one of those bulbs failed within a week of install. When I wrote in about this I was told, "that's strange" with an implication that I was not being truthful. I then sent several photos to prove my point and after about two weeks a new LED arrived. Then part two. I had carefully noted that my truck required a certain front LED bulb which was for 2019 to 2021 Tundras with LED headlights. I had ordered that specific part. However, after I tried to install the LED and it did not fit the base in my truck, I realized that my order had somehow changed to the Turn signal LEDs for the 2007-2018 Tundras. Since there were no part numbers on the LEDs it was not apparent until then. At that point I decided on not changing the front bulbs to LEDs. So I reached out about a return. I was given a return code number and told to write it on the outside of my package in an email. Several days passed and when I did send them back I forgot to write the code on the outside of the mailer, instead I included a note inside the mailer with the code and a brief explanation. When I got the tracking notice that it had arrived in Washington, I emailed to ask if they could confirm that was true. I got a boiler plate response giving me the time lines for my return to be processed. So I waited patiently. However, after two more weeks, still no refund. So I wrote again. This time Ayse went over and found my package unopened (after two weeks) and wrote the code on the outside herself for processing. When I wrote back to say I was surprised that it had not been opened as the note with all the needed info was inside. Ben wrote back to me with a fairly snarky response about how much mail they get and that they don't "have the manpower to open all of it". He also quoted the previous email noting that I was told to write it on the outside of the package. Definitely not a helpful email and a bit rude. I finally did get the refund processed within a week of that exchange. This was an incredible hassel for something that should have been very simple. I will not be ordering anything further from them, despite the fact that I have two other vehicles (RAV4 & TSX) that I plan to do LED upgrades to. I will try another supplier for my future purchases. These guys have done amazing work on my car. I took my 2017 WRX in for a full treatment of the lights in the front - DRLs, lows, highs, turns, and it looks better than any option or trim i could've selected from the factory. HID for the lows and LED for everything else were installed, while everything matches a pure white color temp (except for turn signals obviously). Dealing with everyone from Ayse the store manager to the technicians working on my car was a pleasant and professional experience. They made recommendations on the results that I wanted, and I was able to go back and forth before locking down on a quote that works for me. The entire process was just seamless: I dropped the car off in the afternoon, grabbed some coffee and picked it up 3 hours later. I'm reminded of the quality of work every time i look at my new lights. I can clearly see the cutoff line of the HID's on the road and see that they've done a great job aiming them for maximum visibility and safety for other drivers. If you're still running stock halogens, don't even hesitate giving these guys a call because they'll make your lights look and work better than factory spec. You know they take the installation process seriously if you're getting a multi-year warranty on all their work. I could not be happier, as the results far exceeded my expectations of how clean and factory-like an aftermarket solution could look. I'm excited to return to this place, so they can install LEDs for the rear turn signals as well for that instant on-off effect. You could probably find cheaper ways to do this, but based on the quality of work you get I would never take my car anywhere else. read more

After installed, turns out they sent incorrect module and made it flicker and inoperable. After just 1 week of use, company refused to assist with a refund or replacement. No prepaid labels or anything to help with this inconvenience. After paying my installers twice to get a different lights installed, at least some assistance from hid kit pros would've been fair. I had no idea the work these guys offered! Ive been in the Car business over 13+ years and do a lot of customizing. Both my personal vehicles and offer huge discounted options to my customers. I work for Landmark Motors and cant brag enough about these guys to all my customers. I started with a call about some head light bulb replacement and ended with..... Customer hidden LED bars in my bumper ( see photo), custom fog lights with LED halo to match the running lights, interior multi color lighting under all foot wells, and custom multi color under the car. I also had them professionally lower my car with the springs I purchased, and now setting up appointment for sound dampening to help with the rattles my sound system makes. I cant stress enough the quality of their work, the customer service is exceptional, and their pricing is more than fair in comparison to their competition. Ive been doing this along time and spend thousands and thousands on dollars to customize my cars each year. I can tell you this out of personal experience, to find a company like HID PRO KITS who have combined 20+ years in individual experience in all they offer is hard to find. They have retired master technicians from numerous major car dealerships like Audi and BMW and master techs with 10+ years on advanced tech sound system knowledge and installation. To be able to have that experience, to not over charge, stand behind their work, and never drop the ball is very rare. If you go cheap, it always shows its head and you end up spending twice then going with someone with the experience and a fair price. I'm not bringing my $100k Jeep Trackhawk to any business who installs custom work, or someone who is the cheapest, I bring my car here.
