Tracy at the front desk was super helpful with check in and my questions about jewelry and what not. My one feedback and note would be to mention that visitors do have the option to "try-on" jewelry if they are torn between sizes or colors of jewelry because I think some newcomers wouldn't be aware they could do that if it's not mentioned. My friend asked to try a couple of jewel sizes and that was really helpful with decision making. (By try-on, you are just holding the jewelry piece up to yourself and checking yourself out in the mirror :P ) They offer titanium and gold jewelry here. Many beautiful pieces. They also sell saline spray (for $15 if I remember correctly) which I picked up since I was traveling and will be traveling again. Lacy pierced me and she was soooo amazing! She was really through with her explanations and I felt very comfortable with her. Everything went so smoothly and it was mostly painless - only a pinch in the process but no discomfort after the jewelry was already in. My friends and I left with super cute nostril piercings! Highly recommend this studio. Very grateful and happy with the experience here.

"Regarding your wait time, management confirmed it was significantly shorter than stated" - attached are photos at 6:20pm on 4/11/26 aka the time i went in & upon arrival i asked to use the restroom, i took a selfie amongst other pics & the date & time can be found on each one. When leaving, i was asked for my information & to enroll in ur $5 off coupon which was at 8:16pm on 4/11/26. almost exactly two hours, not sure which manager looked into that but i did not randomly chose that number. Consultation - Tabitha asked via phone if i was given the option or made aware of threadless vs threaded jewelry, i was not nor was I given the option between the two. (Im assuming since you guys only carry threadless anyways.) Lacy said the piercings could get expensive when downsizing multiple sizes & when custom jewelry becomes a thing (she gave me an example of hers that have a wide flat back) which i understood. I was never told the jewelry on hand would be so flimsy or else i would have left with a spare set. or why wouldnt that be offered if its a known thing that theyre just going to break soon after? "our management team has reached out multiple times" - Tabitha called me on 4/20/26 at 2:03pm post yelp review & asking me to elaborate which i did. she apologized & said she would investigate & immediately followed up asking if i could "take down the yelp review" I initially agreed but im so glad i didnt. All that was asked of me was to pick a date & time & she will have someone replace the jewelry that broke at the el monte location but she would have to call me back & let me know if there was someone at that location who COULD do it & that she would call back. when she called back at 2:38pm 4/20/26 she stated ordering a threaded set would take 6-8 weeks & that she will order my downsize. we agreed on that solution & hungup. Then 4/28/26 Tabitha texts me & there was no solution so we could agree on so thanked her & left it at that (screenshots attached as well) "waived fees" - crazy cause you guys swear this is something special. when i get my nails done & one breaks theyre quick to fix it FOR FREE & not keep reminding me that breakage could happen nor badgering me that IM at fault for it/knew the risks. Theres no fee to waive if i want to put the jewelry in my own face for free which you guys denied me of because u didnt want to mail them to me. "we offered appointments at our other locations with free parking lots" - text attached of Tabithas convo but she definitely stated STREET parking, exactly how the LA location is so.. not sure where the "Convenience & Options" were. sorry it came to this Leo, maybe ask both sides next time instead of just listening to one.

This isn't my first tattoo, and my husband and I have been following the after care and have been careful. It's on the healing stage, but you can tell that the corner line differs and there is a smudged area on both tattoos. For both these it was $240 total and done by Chris. I will update this review once the tattoos heal completely.

I thought parking would be tough, but i went on a Saturday afternoon and found parking relatively easily a block away on Lake Shore Ave. The quality of work is top notch and my tattoo came out exactly as i wanted it to. He wanted double bands around his forearm and Sam was able to sketch it out and do the tattoo on the same day. We were in and out within 1.5 hours. He explained the process and aftercare which made getting a tattoo seamless and less daunting. I was on the fence about getting a tattoo but my friend said if he got one I would have to get one too. I decided to get a runner with an ekg as I thought it was fitting for me. I wanted something small for my first tattoo and easily to keep hidden from my mom (sorry mom). He asked me to send him a picture of what I wanted and scheduled an appointment for Monday at 11am. Once Monday came I walked over and signed the consent form. He then printed out the tattoo and placed the outline on my chest and asked me if it was where I wanted it. Being a tattoo noob I trusted his judgement. After letting the outline dry I laid down and he began working on the piece. He said since it was a small tattoo and mainly lines there shouldn't be much pain and the healing process wouldn't be as long. It took about 30 mins to finish up the tattoo and the quality came out amazing. There was no pain at all and he went over the aftercare as well. I showed Sam this other tattoo I wanted and he said he would be able to do that as well. He says his art style is realism and anime so I can't wait to get more work done by him. He has been tattooing for 2 years now along with his apprenticeship. He told me to message him when I'm ready for my next piece. Maybe this tattoo thing is an addiction and will keep you coming back for more.

So, lol, I have 9 tattoos by Sketch since August! Each time I went home, looked closely, and was amazed by his line work. 16 tattoos and 8 artists (I really appreciate all of their works, except for 1 ) later, I really have to say, just go to Sketch. Why? First of all, his skills and work ethic are top notch! Second, he says what it is. He tells you str8 out what will be good or not, and he works with you closely. His focus while tattooing is very sharp--his eyes just glue onto his work! His customer service skills make you feel very at ease--I was there a couple times while other customers were getting tattoos, and yup, they were all laughing and saying how happy they were with Sketch's work! So, if you are looking for a tattoo artist in LA, really, just go to him. His shop location is super convenient, too! read more

Me and my mom wanted to see Sergio today to get our tattoos. My mom got something custom and more unique something that she drew and I got a colorful butterfly with a semi-colon symbol as the body to cover up a scar some from self harm. The shop is very nice, clean and cool with air conditioning especially with all this heat. Sergio told us that he has been tattooing for 13 years and with such great work that he has done for us today we can tell that he is very well seasoned. The atmosphere laid back. Myself and three of my friends walked in on a Saturday afternoon to hidden temple. Sketch was finishing up with an appointment with somebody but advised us to stick around if we wanted to get tatted. We didn't have a clear vision of what we wanted to get but Sketch was able to design us a tattoo on spot with his iPad. Sketch is a real cool guy the tattoo came out wonderful. My artist was Hailin and he's a mastermind, something that you literally see out of a movie. He doesn't use stencils because he draws the design directly onto your arm, envisioning and visualizing the perfect piece in his head. My jaw literally dropped to the other side of earth when I saw the product from marker (not stencil) to the actual tattoo. His designs and ideas use your references and he custom makes a 1:1 piece and design that will literally exceed your expectations. Another note: he let me eat a lot of his white rabbit candy besides it tasting good, I needed something to bite hard on in the painful areas I'd rate this 3 billion stars out of 5. Hailin was such a cool guy to work with and talk to, he's super cool and is extremely skilled.

And he will sit with me and do the design while we make modifications together. He always makes her. I am completely satisfied before we start. Once we did a 12 hour day, and he never rushed me, himself, or seemed annoyed with the time. As long as I have ideas and space on my skin, I will keep returning here to get tattooed by George.

So here is how it went I got a consultation, and was quoted…read more3k for a roughly quarter sleeve forearm tattoo. This is hollywood so I figured they would try to scalp me, ended up paying 2k for a slightly smaller tattoo. Which listen, for the quality of the work, whatever. Price aside, Im sure I got gouged but whatever. I got there and everything was good, except super heavy handed and he kept bottoming out every single needle he used, just constant "brrp" and no change what so ever, at the time I did not realize this is why my arm was chewed the f up. Looking like hamburger meat. I sat for roughly 6 hours, could have probably done more but dude was super heavy handed and Im sure the needles were hooks at this point. Waited a month to finish the last like hour of the piece. HERE IS WHEN IM JUST DONE, dude set up, had his ink all over his gloves, did not change his gloves, was touching everything dude, everything. He used an old marker to outline what was left, who knows how many people he used it on, keeps bottoming out the needle, and he is sick and wiping his nose on his wrist constantly, I sat for 45 minutes max, and did not allow him to touch up more than just what he had to finish, I asked he even used numbing spray, and when I tell you, this guy said he has a soft touch, dude was riding the tube, Im talking the entire needle was gone into my arm, just super super heavy handed, and he brags he has a light touch. NOT TRUE. And he does not say a word, just seems pissed he has to be there for a free touch up, like dude I already paid you 2k, anyways I ran the hell out of there after talk about a tip, I was agreeable cause this dude just seemed hella irritated and I do not want the confrontation, Im already pissed I have to heal, point is 1 month and 1 week in, the original parts of my tattoo are still healing, they swole up and looked like someone just sat with a hammer, hammering my forearm, and the touch up part looks like its scabbing really bad where he used his old sharpie to outline my skin. Did not realize all these red flags or you best believe I would have never let him touch me or even pay an absurd 2k for like 6in tattoo. Whatever man, the art is nice, love the tattoo, hated the experience all together. Im sure there are good people here, but I do not recommend you go see Paul. Maybe he had some kind of anger towards me cause I rejected some of his ideas or idk, point is, bad bad bad unhygienic and super heavy hand and dont forget the constant bottoming out of his needles, tattooing with hooks bro. He worked with me before the appointment and understood exactly what I wanted. On the day of the tattoo, I was still really anxious since it was my first one, but he answered all of my questions and addressed every concern before we began. We worked through different sizes, and he made sure I was 100% happy with everything. The studio was beautiful and very clean, and he was so reassuring throughout the entire session. I'm writing this review two weeks later, and I'm so happy with how it healed. It healed beautifully and looks exactly how I hoped it would. The first photo is right after, the second is at one week, and the third is today at two weeks. Kaho is seriously such a talented artist, and I 100% recommend going to him. You won't regret it. I am very late on this post due to having some losses in my family it has taken me a while to…read morerecover and be able to write this. First off I will start with how professional Wulf is from the start of the process with booking the appointment all the way until the final part of cleaning it up and getting the best pictures of the artwork he is hands down the best at what he does. I have been going to Wulf since May of 2021 and will always go back when I need more work done. His first piece of art he did for me was a Wu-Tang Clan W with a very nice touch of adding in an old school boombox within it to make it era appropriate and he killed it all the way down to the minor details. The second piece of art he did for me was a tribute to my first dog Teggy. She was with me for 15 years but most importantly she was there for me for all the worst moments in my life and thankfully because of her never leaving my side I was always able to get back up and keep moving forward. When I came to Wulf with the idea and I told him the back story of Teggy he said it would be an honor to do it that meant so much to me because he never met her a day in her life but he made sure to put every single detail about her that he could it came out amazing I am forever grateful for the work and passion he put in to making Teggy look as beautiful as she did when she was still here with me. A few days ago I recently lost another dog his name was Blue and I definitely will be hitting up Wulf to have him do his magic so I can have Blue with me forever. I will always make sure that whenever I need any work done I will always go back to Wulf because I know I will always leave knowing I had the best artist put his all in to his work. For anyone in the Los Angeles and surrounding areas make sure you hit him up for all your artwork needed and for anyone else that doesn't mind traveling to the west coast to get amazing work done I highly recommend Wulf Tattoos at 1upinkwest for all your needs.
