19 on tap! Great food, Bourbon list and great service. Couple that with live music and you've found yourself a real hidden gem!

19 cold beers on draft and a secret bourbon list that is unbelievable. Just ask. Also great food and amazing prices and live music. It's a neighborhood gem!

Thursday night $7 cheesesteaks and it came with fries. This was my second attempt at Thursday night cheesesteak night and I really wanted to hate this cheesesteak. Much to my delight, I did not hate this cheesesteak. I did have a roll breakage but this Cheesesteak won me over. French fries, pickle, $4 Sam Adams draft and live music; these things make for a good Thursday night in Wilmington. Overall, it was a very good experience. $11, I was down right giddy!

Service might be the worst in the world, takes about an hour and a half to get any type of food every single time no matter how busy.

Food was delicious, staff needs improvement on needs to customer and not just standing around. Wait for food was a little long

Starting with atmosphere: Walking into the restaurant on a…read moreSunday at around 12:30, i could see it was crowded but i was still able to be seated within 2-4 minutes. I am guessing this was a typical Sunday afternoon/post church rush. This place is small (it is part of a strip mall and the tables are packed pretty tightly, but not uncomfortably so. That said, between the small size and all the families there, it was loud. I was not bothered by the noise, but it bordered on raucous. So, if you wanted a quiet place to sit and look into your date's eyes, this may not be the place for you. Luckily that is not my issue. The staff were tremendously friendly. Everyone from the person who sat me, to my server, to the three other employees who stopped by to make sure everything was good and handled refills, etc. seemed genuinely concerned about making sure I had a good experience. That brings me to the food. It was breakfast food (i ordered the western omelet). My bread was perfectly toasted the way I like (lightly toasted; If you prefer your bread well done you may want to let your server know first). Home fries were cooked quite well. Just the right balance of firmness without being overly crispy. And the omelette itself was well executed. I will say that the western omelet had a little more salsa than i expected on top but that's not a complaint. It was my first time there and I didn't expect it to have so much. Which leads me to the next point: portion size is great. The omelette, home fries and bread took up my whole plate. If you want to be filled, come here. Price was reasonable: a little over 20 bucks for the omelette, which came with home fries and bread, as well as a coffee and large orange juice. Overall, i was satisfied and I will return.

It was on the menu at Metro and I asked the waiter about it he said that his grandmother from NY loves the chicken and that the waffles were good as well. I ordered the chicken & waffles and I'm a stone believer now. My God, the chicken was real grandmama fried chicken and the waffle was so good topped with strawberry butter! Needless to say, I'm a whole real life believer now! Thank you to Metro and to the gracious waiter. You have restored my faith in chicken and waffles!

There are so many options that any type of diner can find something tasty to eat (obviously not the healthiest food but there are some nice healthier options). The wraps were a favorite for our group and they're a tiny bit less filling than a whole bun. One of us in the group also turned her burger into a lettuce wrap and they did a nice job wrapping it and keeping the sandwich together when you bite into it. I decided to try the bottomless steamed broccoli (don't make fun) and then pick off my friends' extra fries. The broccoli was a cute portion and it tasted pretty good. Don't be afraid of it!! Our server, Tim, was so nice and chatty but we were in a chatty mood too so it made for a great experience. Our food came out a little staggered but we talked about it with Tim and we didn't mind lol; it's a burger spot not a 5-star establishment. Can't wait to go back for more freckled lemonade and to try a new burger!

Overall an odd experience…read more We stopped in on a Saturday night around 7pm because we had been shopping in the area, the restaurant was virtually empty. We ordered our food which was decent, the onion rings were pretty good - only redeeming factor. They sat us in a booth that overlooked the kitchen, we could hear the entire staff talking, we could literally look over and see the kitchen? It just felt so awkward especially because the entire restaurant was empty. Then the entire staff was just walking around the restaurant, one waiter was walking around with a backpack on talking to other servers in the middle of the dining room? Another employee was just using the carpet sweeper all over the dining room? It was just odd. Felt like we were intruding on the staff trying to close/hang out despite it being 7pm on a Saturday.

This homey tavern offers excellent service and the food overall is consistently very good. They have fresh buck-a-shuck oysters and clams at happy hour and all day Thursdays. The baked clams are simply magnificent! Their chicken wings are large and well spiced with a nice glaze. Their burger is a classic style tavern burger - perfectly cooked and juicy. The French fries are pretty darn good too! The wild striped bass entree is excellent as well. Fresh striper that is flaky, delicate - typically this is one of my go-tos. The variety of desserts are very good and big enough to be shared. Enjoy!

There were near 100 cars in the lot and still space to park somehow! The place was packed when we got there but we were seated in a minute! And in that time we were told by other staff that they'd be there shortly. Once seated, our server came by a few times in the 5 minutes we spent deciding on what to get haha and plenty while we were dining. I say this because it's not often you see such a packed restaurant feel like such an efficiently well oiled machine. We were there to see the band and some friends so we just got the pulled pork truffle fries, which, mind you, were some of the best fried we've had anywhere! What a pleasant surprise, as we were just grabbing a quick bite to share before having to head off. The ambiance was great, which I'd wager to be the case even without the music seeing the elegance of the decor and whatnot. The whole place was clean, not an issue in sight. Props to all the staff and management at the Chadds Ford Tavern!
