19 on tap! Great food, Bourbon list and great service. Couple that with live music and you've found yourself a real hidden gem!

19 cold beers on draft and a secret bourbon list that is unbelievable. Just ask. Also great food and amazing prices and live music. It's a neighborhood gem!

Thursday night $7 cheesesteaks and it came with fries. This was my second attempt at Thursday night cheesesteak night and I really wanted to hate this cheesesteak. Much to my delight, I did not hate this cheesesteak. I did have a roll breakage but this Cheesesteak won me over. French fries, pickle, $4 Sam Adams draft and live music; these things make for a good Thursday night in Wilmington. Overall, it was a very good experience. $11, I was down right giddy!

Service might be the worst in the world, takes about an hour and a half to get any type of food every single time no matter how busy.

She just about lost her mind when she saw the plates of fried chicken that were served. I had chicken & waffles with strawberry butter. She had chicken with mashed potato & green beans. The food was delicious as I knew it would be. You really want to have good experiences when you go out to eat. Parking is so convenient at the door. The food was great, the restaurant was bright, busy & clean, the waitress, Meredith, was new & spent extra attention to details in providing excellent service, taking time to explain the menu & make suggestions when asked. I went against my gut. I decided to try the shrimp and grits. Having had it in the south, I think this was rather lackluster. It was very runny and not seasoned. They were generous with the shrimp but they were small and not seasoned. The service here was also terrible to boot. The place was nearly empty, and they only had one waitress working. It seemed like the chicken and waffles was popular, but I saw people there drowning the whole thing in syrup. It looked like the road to the fat farm. I would give this place a pass, and judging from the emptiness of the place I don't think they will be here long.

As I walked to the restroom, my shoes were literally sticking to the floor, but I remembered how much I loved Red Robin as a kid and decided to stay anyway. Big mistake. I explained to my server that I'm currently undergoing chemotherapy and have a compromised immune system, so I asked for a smaller burger with mushrooms. She showed no concern and simply suggested a child's burger. My meal arrived on a tiny plastic child's plate, the special sauce I requested was missing, and the mushrooms were jet black and mushy (see photo). When I asked for fresh mushrooms, I was told those were the only ones they had. I later found a dark hair stuck to my garlic aioli container (see photo), and when I asked to speak with the manager, there was still no apology or concern. While waiting for the manager, I noticed the creamers I had already poured into my coffee had expired in June 2025 (see photo). When the General Manager finally came out, she said hair in food "happens--it's a restaurant," insisted the black mushrooms were normal because they were cooked on the grill, and claimed the expired creamers weren't actually expired. She refused to take responsibility for any of the issues. While waiting for her business card, I also watched a server take a French fry off a customer's plate before serving it to an elderly couple. When I pointed out the problems, the manager yelled at me to leave because other customers could hear our conversation. After working in several restaurants myself, I know this is not normal. Hair in food, expired creamers, and spoiled-looking mushrooms should never be dismissed as acceptable, especially after a customer explains they are undergoing chemotherapy. The lack of cleanliness, professionalism, and accountability was shocking. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had, and I believe this location has serious food safety and management issues that need immediate attention.

We ordered our food which was decent, the onion rings were pretty good - only redeeming factor. They sat us in a booth that overlooked the kitchen, we could hear the entire staff talking, we could literally look over and see the kitchen? It just felt so awkward especially because the entire restaurant was empty. Then the entire staff was just walking around the restaurant, one waiter was walking around with a backpack on talking to other servers in the middle of the dining room? Another employee was just using the carpet sweeper all over the dining room? It was just odd. Felt like we were intruding on the staff trying to close/hang out despite it being 7pm on a Saturday.

FIRST, breakfast is my favorite meal, but WHAT?!…read more A breakfast place with NO butter?! Just some vegetable seed oil "spread" pretending to be butter?! I would think that at the minimum, you could provide some REAL butter in the little containers on the table! Even the old silver diners provide REAL butter. TWO Strikes for a "breakfast" place! Ordered one of their more expensive omelettes, the "Seafood" omelette with crab and shrimp. One of the worst omelettes that I have ever had, for $16.00. So bad, that I had to return it. The shrimp were the tiny, what I call 'bait" shrimp used for fishing. Actually, most "bait" shrimp are even bigger AND they tasted freezer burnt. Did not see any crab in the omelette, but since the shrimp were so foul tasting, I did not explore the flatest omelette that I have ever seen any further. So I went with ham and eggs, after confirming that the ham was indeed a ham "steak", with the manager. Honestly, if I ever was served a "steak", be it a beef steak or a ham steak, that was SO thin, I would get up and leave, but since we were both hungry after a long over night travel, we suffered through and ate what we were served. The wife ordered the crab Benedict, which despite the menu reading "poached" eggs, the eggs were more like soft boiled eggs. She claimed that everything tasted fine, but was disappointed to have soft boiled eggs, instead of actual "poached" eggs. THREE Strikes! Sorry Nudy's, but we WON'T be back. UPDATE: I forgot to mention that the manager here was very apologetic and accommodating to my concerns, even checking the expiration date of the shrimp that tasted freezer burnt. Both she and our server checked with me to make sure that my replacement breakfast was to my liking.

The cafe had a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the food definitely left a positive impression. We'll certainly keep it in mind for future visits!

I haven't been to Texas Roadhouse since I moved from Georgia. When we passed the restaurant today I had a flashback to my old favorite: roadkill! (How's that for a horrible name?!) Entrees come with a choice of two sides. Make mine a baked potato and salad. My husband ordered a half rack of ribs, which he said was as good as LongHorn. (We like the ribs at LongHorn.) They brought the requisite yeast rolls and cinnamon butter. And let's not forget drinks. Frozen margaritas for $5. A fifty cent upcharge for my strawberry. And it was potent. Texas Roadhouse, at least this branch at 4:30, was super busy and super loud. Not the kind of place to sit and chat with friends. No one came to refill or even ask about refilling our drinks, but other than that food was brought out very quickly. I also got a job offer right after we put in our appetizer order so this meal will always have a special place in my heart.

Once seated, our server came by a few times in the 5 minutes we spent deciding on what to get haha and plenty while we were dining. I say this because it's not often you see such a packed restaurant feel like such an efficiently well oiled machine. We were there to see the band and some friends so we just got the pulled pork truffle fries, which, mind you, were some of the best fried we've had anywhere! What a pleasant surprise, as we were just grabbing a quick bite to share before having to head off.
