My family and I went to Hideaway Pizza for lunch a couple of days ago. Service was spot on, restaurant was clean, and food was great! We ordered the 6 piece "Parmesan Garlic Wings," "Just-A-Beginner Salad," and the "Sicilian" on thin crust. Pizza is great, especially the Da Bomb pizza is amazing! We have only done takeout which is still good and the pizza is fresh. I like how every pizza is inspected by someone as well and makes their initials in the pizza box. Typically it takes them about 15 minutes to make the pizzas so not to bad. The inside of the store looks cool and has lots of TV's, but we haven't sat down physically in the store. Based on the pizza and service I've experienced, it's a great place and one of my favorite pizzas in North Texas. read more

This is a good pizza place. It has a similar vibe to a toned down Mellow Mushroom. Service takes its time so you're not getting in and out quickly which is the only negative I could say, but everything that you're getting is very good. Ordered the xtreme pizza (hand tossed crust) and fried mushrooms online for pickup. Order was ready when requested and the person at the counter was friendly. Mushrooms were just ok, good texture but just plain tasting. Pizza had good texture but this particular one was just way too salty due to the toppings. Would probably just do an ATW next time. Didn't see too much of the inside since I just did a pickup, but it seemed decent and this is a new location so all looked good. Will definitely try again in the future. Where to being we visited 12/30/23...we got there at 539pm the waiter took 19mins to even come make contact. He made up for the wait. We ordered a few mins before 630pm kids drinks , the 50/50, garlic knots, cheese pizza, bbq wings, two turkey sandwiches (w/ 8 pickle spears) and a pesto pasta along with 4 alcohol drinks. Appetizers were okay nothing special. The adults drinks were good 2 pink drinks, strawberry lemon drop, patronrita. The pizza was meh. Pesto pasta was okay. Wings were under cooked. Turkey sandwiches in all were horrible. They brought one sandwich out at 715 stated it was made wrong and that both sandwiches were getting replaced and should take no more than 7 minutes. Well 7 minutes took 30 minutes for one sandwich. 10 minutes later Manger comes to try to make up by giving $35 in hideaway bucks(expired 12/31/23) , still no second sandwich. Then she leave to check on sandwich comes back another 10 minutes no 2nd sandwich at this point she stated she took care of the food items. She leaves then comes back with wings, still no 2nd sandwich. So another 10 minutes go by finally a 2nd sandwich that was horrible and chips were trash. We get the check and look over the check and what do we see, a charge for pickles worth $8!!! So they charge $1 per pickle spear. Not even a whole pickle! Gave hideaway bucks to another family nearby. Watched the cowboys game since we were there so long so the atmosphere was cool. Crazy ending right ! read more

I ordered for pickup. When I arrived they informed me that they gave my pizza to someone else. The manager admitted it, gave me gift certificates to make up for it and still had my pizza made. Mistakes happen, but it's rare that it's handled so honestly and nicely. I'd be back just be you that alone. I had The Boz pizza and it was glorious! My wife and I ate there a couple of days ago. We started with the fried mushrooms, and the were delicious. This is the first time I have ever had them where they were not soggy at all. They were very crispy, and had that nice pop when you bite into them. Easily the best I've ever had. I ordered a medium extreme pizza, and there were enough toppings to fill two whole pies. The pizza was so loaded, I had to eat it with a fork. The crust, omg, the crust. I actually ate all of it, dipped in the ranch dressing left over from the mushrooms, and had more brought out. I can generally eat a large pizza by myself, but I was pretty close to full after consuming that large load of shrooms. Be careful what you order here because the quantity is solid, as is the quality. They don't play. Definitely go here. Everything I had was top notch, and the place was CLEAN. Best pizza I've had in DFW in 20 years. I don't have a single complaint, and it was money well spent. read more

We don't go out that often, we wanted to treat our son to pizza for his birthday. We had Brooke as our server, she was great. But what we found very disturbing was that we left a $15 tip on a $52 bill but a day later we were charged $82instead of $72. A $25 tip was placed on our bill. We contacted Hideaway, no response. We feel that they padded our bill and don't care about who knows or will do anything to correct their actions. This was our experience. We would highly recommend that you do not but if you visit their location do so extreme with caution and pay with cash or you to may get a surprise that you were not expecting. read more

We got takeout and the pizza is not five star to me by any measure and is more on par with the major chains which sell for much less. If you like ambiance here, ok. My husband and I came to the soft opening of Hideaway Plano, and were blown away. We both went to school in Oklahoma, so we were very familiar with Hideaway up there. The new Plano location is amazing! The rooftop patio was so fun, and all the servers were fantastic. We got the fried pickles, Greek salads, and split a pizza. Everything was a 10/10. We went tonight for the soft opening and had curbside service. From ordering to pickup the process was very smooth. I interacted with three different people and each one was very friendly. We are longtime Hideaway fans so thrilled to welcome them to North Texas! Food was excellent as always. Two large pizzas fed our family of four and we have plenty leftover for lunch. Husband and I came on a Friday night. It was very busy. We ordered our meal as well as an appetizer( fried mushrooms). After at least thirty minutes, our meal and salad came but never the appetizer. When we asked about it, the waitress seemed confused and then the manager comes to the table . He apologized and said he would take the mushrooms off our bill. We finished our meal and here comes the appetizer. Then we get the bill. Husband gave his card to the waitress. When she returned and I looked over the bill, not only was the appetizer not taken off the bill, but there was a 26 dollar charge for a pizza that we never ordered! We I told the waitress that the bill was wrong she said that she would fix it. My husband immediately checked his bank account and not only was the original amount not taken off but an additional 77 dollars was charged, which the bank quickly took off due to suspicion on fraud. The manager then came over again and said he would fix the bill. Long story short, we ended up having to drive back two days later and talk to another manager to get the bill taken care of.... very incompetent staff at this location and bad food to top it off. We just went to hideaway for my Mother's Day dinner. We started with the 50/50, it as very good but some of the mozzarella sticks were empty, completely hollow. We asked for a replacement and they obliged. Otherwise it was good. Then, we got 3 pizzas. 2 small and one medium. Everything was very tasty and Connor was very attentive. It is quite loud but that didn't bother me at all. The reason I took away so many stars is because as I said this was Mother's Day, and I had my dessert with me...we had just gone to Kilwins. I had a white kilwins bag with a whole perfect triple stripe apple and a chocolate covered rice crispy treat. I have quite a few kids so when we got up I forgot my bag. A few minutes after leaving I realized it and called and gave them a heads up that was returning to grab it. When I got there nobody had any idea what I was talking about and it was allegedly thrown out. Thanks for throwing out my Mother's Day dessert can't decide if I'll ever return. read more
