Our first time here after seeing an advertisement on Facebook. The Mac and cheese w green Chile and steak was amazing. Perfectly cooked steak and perfect heat level on the green Chile . Please High Point, don't ever change bc someone complains that it's too hot ! lol there are already too many spots in abq with bland Chile so we do appreciate some good heat! The artichoke dip had excellent flavors and the shrimp and grits were great. We will definitely be back! Oh and service was quick and our waiter was attentive and pleasant. read more

I've come here twice in the last 2 weeks because the first time was way too good to not come back again. There is a huge variety on the menu that begs you to come back to try something else because there's not enough room in your stomach to try all the goodness in just 1 sitting. I had the shrimp and grits along with the crab mac n' cheese the first time I came and both were incredible. The second time, I had a burger (which has the best meat ever) and I got the crab mac n' cheese again because it was so good from the first time. My only complaint is that the consistency of that crab mac n' cheese was not the same from the first to the second time. Other than that, this is one of the tastiest restaurants I've been to in ABQ and I plan on coming back again. read more

Chef White ? Come on people, I have to say the burger was good only the meat tho. My wife had the french dip was ok. We both had the mac and cheese totally taste less ,mine had green Chile taste less also. Couldn't tell it was fresh pasta from boxed pasta ! Once again I don't get all the good reviews chef white gets for meh pasta and food. I'm sorry but being from back east growing up in a Italian neighborhood this type of food doesn't cut it ! After not getting in on a Friday night, we headed back for a Tuesday night dinner. Great Menu, great atmosphere, great waiter (Kieran). Place was rather quiet. I had the pappardelle with meatballs (lots of them) and the sauce was excellent, noodles perfect al dente. I could not finish. Amazing food and service! We dined there for the first time on 11/14/20 right before indoor dining was shutdown and I've been craving it since. My husband and I both had the green chile chicken philly which was really flavorful and the fries perfection; plentiful, well seasoned, and crisp. The atmosphere and staff were warm and inviting; perfect place to grab a beer and a satisfying meal. I look forward to being able to dine at High Point Grill in future but for now we are happy to order to-go and support local (and treat ourselves to their delicious food). read more

Overall we had a great experience, highly recommend! My wife and visited High Point on a Saturday night. It was not too busy and we were seated right away. They have a large local craft beer selection on tap and the server was knowledgeable about the beers available. I had the filet sandwich and my wife had the chicken artichoke pasta dish...both were excellent. This place is so amazing!!!! The artichoke dip is so good with both the flatbread & tortilla chips! The crab mac n' cheese even heats up so good the next day! The bacon, mushroom & mozzarella cheese burger is so juicy! But..... Don't make the mistake I made.... I didn't save room for DESSERT!!!! Best restaurant in Albuquerque. Friendly yet professional service, and a beautiful setting inside and out. But the food in this Gastropub is superior to anything found in Albuquerque. And the prices are very reasonable. I am not a big meat eater. but their burgers are better than anything I've ever tasted anywhere. Period. The cobb salad is delicious fresh and tasty, and the green chili macaroni and cheese is amazing. If you love fresh pasta, you can actually watch it being made in the open kitchen. I've been here twice. After the first visit I would have rated it a 5 but the last visit was definitely a 1. The first visit, we had a nice waitress, who was very attentive. I ordered a build your own burger and she remembered my order perfectly. The Caesar salad was crisp and delicious. My friend ordered a bacon Mac and cheese which was very good. On the second visit, I again ordered a build your own burger, as did my husband. The waiter made mistakes on both. When I mentioned that my burger didn't have the green Chile I ordered, he brought me some but near the end of my meal. My husband asked for bacon and cheese which his burger didn't have. The worst was when my husband asked for more hot water for his tea. The waiter brought a cup of hot water and poured it into my husband's cup, spilling hot water everywhere. Then he left and never brought a towel to dry it up. My water class was never refilled. We will not be going back. read more

We loved this restaurant!! We went a few minutes after they opened in the morning so we had a very cozy atmosphere and the staff was very attentive. We never had to wait long for a refill and our waiter, Gilberto, was charming and very informative about the restaurant and surrounding area. We definitively felt that the prices were justified and we got large portions. I ordered the southwest burger which was very tasty- I just wasn't prepared for how spicy it would be. I'm sure that more experienced green Chile consumers will love it. I'm for sure gonna get it again when I'm more prepared. My SO got the baked rigatoni. He liked the sausage and the meatballs; the bread that went with it was excellent as well. We got the nachos to start and they were awesome! To finish we got the desert flight, which was a collection of really good deserts. Our favorites was the jalapeño ice cream and the sweet roll. The jalapeño added a great flavor to the ice cream without adding any heat. Over all, an excellent experience. read more
