I've been coming here for years, speficially to this location. My family tried this place about seven or eight years ago. A year later we would pick up food from here almost every other Saturday. It was a fun little outing for my dad and me. My dad would get the Godzilla burrito. My go-to for years has been the Cajun Chicken burrito (whole wheat tortilla, chicken thigh- small peices, less sour cream). The burritos are filling so I'd typically share with my mom when we got home. Unfortunately, my dad fell ill and couldn't eat here anymore due to new dietary rules as well as meds he was taking. So we stopped coming here as we felt bad eating it when he wasn't able to. After he passed, for some time it was hard coming here without thinking of him. But now its a nice reminder of the the good outings we had and the food is still good. I've since moved away from this town, but when I occasionally come back to visit my mom, we usually stop here for my fav burrito. The environment is always friendly. Lots of times even when I call in my order they already know who I am even after not ordering here after months when Im not around. All in all, I've mostly had good experiences here and the food is pretty good. read more

High Tech Burrito has been the ultimate comfort food for me my entire life. All I have ever ordered since I was probably about 8 years old is the Bean and Cheese burrito and I don't know what it is, but something about it never fails to put me in a good mood. There is a perfect bean to cheese ratio (important) and the cheese is the perfect amount of melty, gooey goodness. It would probably be my "last meal" choice (seriously). I would have them cater my wedding if I could (sort of seriously). I even took a burrito on a plane with me back to college once so I could eat it for dinner. I come here all the time, not because of food is good but the conveyance. I have to say every time I come here the woman behind the cash register seemed pissed. Craving a burrito so decided to give it a try, I wasn't expecting much as the menu has that poke too and salmon wraps, seemed weird. I stuck with a traditional burrito and assumed it would be bland. Wow it was amazing. Their salsas are very good. They have a Smokey chipotle one it a little hot and and a great tomatillo one. The food is really good here and they are quick. The only reason why I am giving this review a 3 star rating is because the manager laughed at the way I talked over the phone when I called to place my order for pick up. When I asked the female manager why she was laughing at the way I talk, she flat out lied to me and said she wasn't lying. I then told here that she was laughing at my and she continued to lie and say she wasn't. I then asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. I was in shock to find out that she was the manager and ask here if managers are trained to laugh at the customers. She said no, and then I said that she needs to stick to what she is trained to do! Let me start by saying on the rare occasion that my burrito is actually made correctly, I enjoy High Tech Burrito quite a bit. But in my experience of ordering between 2 and 4 burritos at a time (for my family), at least one is made wrong. When you pay an extra $1.50 for guacamole and $0.50 for sour cream, only to find neither on your burrito, it gets annoying. I'd also like to say I've sent two separate messages to High Tech Burrito on their website and they did not respond either time. This place has been steadily going downhill for the past six months. It honestly used to be my go to burrito place, but the last several times I've ordered from here, they were either out of necessary ingredients like chicken, black beans and rice (this is a burrito place, right?!) or they've forgot to include an extra/side of guacamole which was ordered and also paid for. There was a time time place was great as the food was of good quality, they didn't run out of multiple ingredients at the same time and the staff got orders done correctly. Easy, accessible burritos. I think I prefer Baja Fresh burritos, but these are affordable, relatively quick burritos with pretty good size, texture, and taste. Better than your average fast food option (i.e. taco bell) but IMO comes up short against even Chipotle. Worth considering how much you like Mexican - this is about the only Mexican my girlfriend will eat, as she isn't crazy about Mexican food. She jokes that it's inauthentic enough for her to eat. Decided to give this place a try but I was skeptical because of where this place is located. It's Danville so you know you're gonna be surrounded by privileged self-entitled snobs, but I digress. The food is good and the employees were friendly, especially the pretty little caramel colored Latina that was working the register. She was fast and friendly. That girl deserves a raise for having to deal with some of the people that were going in there that day. I ordered a MEAT ONLY burrito to take out. When I got home the burrito had NO meat and was filled with rice, cheese and and beans which I specifically did not order. I called the store and the manager began to argue with me that my burrito had meat, because he made it himself and accused me of lying. I ordered the Cajun burrito, which was surprisingly lacking in flavor, much less spice, and very messy as their "cajun" sauce ran out. I discovered High-Tech Burrito recently after being a regular customer of Chipotle for years. I have to tell you, I have discovered what real burrito should taste like after my first 2 bites. At this location, Rita serves each customer with a smile. She is also the one who introduced me to their famous sauce "Nuclear". I recommend their Fajita Chicken. Really good food but consistently lazy service. I had to ask the cashier twice to clean off a table for us (there was not a single clean table in the empty restaurant when we walked in). Her version of cleaning the table was removing the visible debris. 5 full minutes later she had disappeared to do other things and I had to hunt her down again to have the table wiped down. 2 minutes later, she handed me a rag so I could wipe it myself (picture attached). I used to come here alot maybe 10 years ago when my wife worked nearby. I remember it being good but we hadn't been in a long time. Perhaps we should have let it be forgotten. My steak burrito was served luke warm and they forgot to add the salsa. I got about 1/4 thru and came across something really chewy...like a fatty piece. By that point it was cold so i just threw the rest out. My wife said i should complain but honestly it wasnt good enough to get it remade. I like this place. It is close to home, plus they serve good food that tastes homemade. I love their mild salsa. It is very addicting. I usually alternate between two things. I get the chicken quesadilla which comes with salsa, sour cream and guacamole. I also get a chicken burrito. I like that you can customize what you want in them and they have a lot of choices as to what you can put in. They have 3 different kinds of rice, even. They also just started a loyalty program.
