Generally Taquerias have meat based menu. But this one had lot of vegetarian menu. It also has free chips, fryums and salsa bar when you purchase food. So we though will give it a try. It was located in a complex next to a Indian grocery store, parking was no problem. Ambiance wss colorful and inviting. Veggie enchiladas combo Veggie quesedilla Grilled tacos Aquas Frescas All of the dishes were good all of our favorite was veggie quesadillas and they also give a extra spicy sauce if asked, but it was not great or spicy. Aquas frescas are unlimited refill, it was light and tasty and not super intense cinnamon in most of the places we all liked it. Certainly will come back if we were near by. read more

I'm new to Dublin and have been trying different restaurants in the area, and unfortunately, my experience at Dublin Taqueria has really disappointed me. My first two visits were actually very pleasant. I had a nice experience with the staff and enjoyed my food, which is why I decided to come back. Unfortunately, my third visit was completely different. The employee taking my order made me feel extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed. My meal was only around $6, and because I eat very small portions, I declined the salsa bar surcharge because I knew I wasn't going to use it. Instead of simply accepting that, he repeatedly insisted that I should get food from the salsa bar and made comments along the lines of "you need to eat it" in a sarcastic and rude manner. He also mentioned that he had "done me a favor" by removing the charge and then added chips to my bag. I left feeling like I was being judged for how much I eat, which completely ruined my experience. Unfortunately, I came back today and encountered the same employee. I ordered two tacos to go because I knew I might not be able to finish both in one sitting. I ended up eating one taco inside and got up to grab napkins near the register. He sarcastically commented that he thought my order was to go. I explained that I simply wasn't sure I would be able to finish both tacos. At that point, I honestly just felt uncomfortable again. I want to be clear that my issue is not with the restaurant's food or policies. My issue is with the way I was spoken to and made to feel by this particular employee. There is a professional way to explain a surcharge or clarify an order without making a customer feel embarrassed, judged, or uncomfortable about something as personal as how much they eat. I also noticed a very different tone in the way he interacted with other customers, which made the experience even more uncomfortable for me. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. I really wanted to like this restaurant, especially because my first two experiences were good, but unfortunately I don't feel comfortable returning if this is the type of interaction I can expect from this employee. read more

You order at the counter here and they bring your Oder to your table. The restaurant is bright with a large menu. The people who work here were not especially friendly, but they weren't rude at all. Been trying new taquerias in the trivalley. Came here specifically because they have a California burrito on the menu. Inside is very clean. They have a salsa bar with tortilla chips and something unique, Duritos. (Circle Wheat chips with an X in the middle). We ordered a California burrito, Al pastor taco, and horchata. The horchata was "home made" and definitely tasted different the branded horchata I'm used to. California burrito:. Has carne asada, fries, sour cream, guacamole, Monterey cheese, and pico. The burrito was hot and everything felt incorporated versus some taco shops just put cold ingredients together. Burrito was split between the wife and I and it was very filling. Melty cheese pull was a nice touch to know they didn't skimp on ingredients. My only criticism is that the fries are soggy. If they deep fry it to a super crispy texture would make this SO MUCH better. Al pastor taco: was good. They offered a handmade tortilla which was a little extra. The Al pastor wasn't carved off of a "spit" or doesn't appear to be since the cuts appear more clumpy. Otherwise flavor was there and solid. We came in on Friday to our usual Mexican favorite here in Dublin. As always, the service was great and their large variety of offerings always allows us to keep things fresh since we come so often. However, this review is only towards the quality of the food we received and what was offered on the chips and salsa bar. We ordered our usual lengua on soft tacos, and al pastor supper burrito. While waiting for our order, we'll pig out to the chips and salsa on the side. One thing we noticed: the salsa wasn't tasting fresh today and the grilled chili's and vegetables tasted off and old. A sign that we're eating food prepped for a couple of days ago. When receiving our order, the meats inside our food didn't taste fresh and a little lower in quality and taste. My burrito came with a whole couple of slices of raw onion which was strange, and the lengua tasted old. After our meal, my gf and I felt uncomfortable for a couple of days worried that this might be food poisoning, and instead maybe just disgust from eating poorly made or unkempt food. Regardless, what may have been our regular Mexican spot for great food and unlimited chip offering, just got put on the spot for us to avoid. With a myriad of inconsistencies with their food, we just can't recommend Dublin taqueria anymore. Sorry! read more

1st time back since 2024. Greatly improved. Then, mole chicken was bland. Now, it was packed with flavor and a tiny bit of heat. Still wish it was thigh meat but their chicken breast wasn't as dry as I remember. Option of adding housemade tortillas. Super yummy but upcharge made my tacos ridiculously expensive. Don't understand why fajita veggie taco cost more even tho there was more mole chicken filling in the other taco. Also loved all the choices in the salsa bar and beverage station. No free water offered, only bottled water for sale. Didn't care for that. Will certainly be back, just be mindful of what I order so check doesn't balloon out of control. After picking up our Princess from the kennel, we needed food! My wife said Mexican and I asked her to find someplace to go on yelp. We were pretty close to Dublin Taqueria so we headed that direction. We parked right in front and there were two outside tables. One had some debris on it from another guest. I took the other table after I picked up and threw out a small serving tray of beans and salsa from under the table. My wife went inside to place our order. While the front of the restaurant needed some attention, the inside was clean and organized. Our order consisted of: Lengua Super Burrito - 5 - Very tasty and too much for one meal. Chile Verde Burrito - 5 - Extremely satisfying! Pollo Asado Taco - 3 - I wanted unseasoned chicken grilled for the Princess. Something got lost in the translation because we ended up with seasoned Pollo Asado. It wasn't particular spicy but we still only gave a few pieces to the dog. read more

OMGoodness!!!!! Let me preface this with saying I wasn't even that hungry and I am Mexican so I often get disappointed when Mexican food LOOKS good but the taste is not there. This place however is so good! I randomly stopped here and I'm glad I did. It's my first time so I only tried the torta. Before trying the torta I tried the salsas while waiting and at that point I knew this place was going to be fire. The salsas are sooooo good! The curtido is good too! I got a torta with Lengua. I was a little skeptical of this place. It's pretty new in Dublin & so I was apprehensive to try it. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it. We had the nachos & burritos. My husband had the chile relleno burrito & I had the carne asada. They were both very flavorful & good portion of meat! The churro was good too! Great selection of salsa too ! All homemade. I got another Mexican place to go to in Dublin. One note though. They don't seem to have free water. I've never encountered this before & I believe California requires restaurants to provide this. Our go-to spot for Mexican food fix. We always do take out though so haven't experienced dining in here. The orders are super easy to place online, typically take 15-25 minutes and they are ready for pick up. The service is fast and good, we have never had any issues with our orders. The best part about this Taqueria is that they offer plenty of substantial vegetarian options and by substantial I mean there is a protein option (paneer) for vegetarians instead of the usual lettuce and a couple grilled veggies that most places offer. I also like the fact that the food is not dropping with oil or excessive cheese, feels fairly healthy. Favorites are the paneer tacos, enchiladas and the burritos. read more

The first impression I get when I walk in, is that it's CLEAN and Fresh!! Great Chips, Doritos and a multitude of salsas to choose from!! It's free and self serve! Beverages are self serve too. Also, I think they got a new "Lit up Menu"-nice!!!!! Found a large table for 10 friends and we had a great time. Service was quick and friendly. Came by on a Thursday evening to pick up dinner. The restaurant was clean and their shared parking lot was not full, so parking was not a problem. The woman taking orders was friendly and patient while I checked out their menu. They have a self service salsa and chips bar with lots of options (fire roasted salsa, carrots and onions, green sauce, etc) Items ordered: 2 horchatas- Good and not too sweet or thick. I have had better but this was fine. Al pastor & birria 2 taco plate with homemade tortillas- Flavor was just ok and their portion size was fairly large. They do charge extra for homemade tortillas and they were too thick for my taste. Carnitas plate- Generous portion of meat but the flavor was just okay. Rice flavor and the cactus salad were okay. 2 crispy chicken tacos- I ordered this for my kid and he did not eat it. Kids' chicken strip meal with fries- This was perfectly done and their fries were good. Churro- just okay, it had some filling inside I really liked their fire roasted salsa and the little heat it brought. Overall, food was 3.5 and ambiance was 4. As someone who frequents the taquerias in Redwood City, it's hard to find something in the Tri Valley area that is equivalent in taste and value. read more

The breakfast burrito is a 3 for two reasons only, one of which most would never say but you'll understand my why. 4-5 for the business set up, ambience, and service. This place gets it and it is obvious a woman is in charge! Got the regular breakfast burrito with chicken Al pastor and black beans. The flavor was delicious. My issue was it asks if you want the tortilla wet or crispy. I said crispy. What is tricky is the inside is very soupy between the black beans sauce, the guacamole which is thin and runny vs thick and chunky and the sour cream which gets runnier because of the warmth of the burrito. So when you open it, everything falls out and the inside of the burrito is soggy. To add, the burrito is HUGE and heavy so it is very hard to eat even when cut in half. This is the never thought I'd say this part. I highly recommend they cut the contents by 1/3-1/2 as it'll make for a better burrito in many ways and cut the cost relatively as the $20 as is now is priced too high for what it is. Lastly if people want it bigger let them pay the $20 or more. The taste again is delish, just need a more functional burrito. I was driving to LA and needed something easy to eat and quick, that tasted good and was hoping for affordable but went with this due to location. The inside of the restaurant is spotless and a nice festive vibe. The owner greeted me (I believe) a woman who was ON TOP OF EVERYTHING in the restaurant. I watched her work and it was awesome to see it. If she's not the owner she should be! If they create a burrito light version with a reduced price I'll be back. read more

We have been to this taqueria (taco shop) a few times. I wanted to go with 4 1/2 stars, but we have to use whole numbers here. The friendly service makes me round up instead of down. I think the owners are always here. I say that because one man and one woman seem to care about the the place much more than employees would. First impression - The place is bright and clean, and the tables are spaced out enough that you aren't crowded. The menu is huge and it takes a while to navigate it. But if you have an idea of what you want, you can probably find it. They also have some specials that are not up on the menu board. Be sure to check the paper signs in the front window and around the cash register. The rest room is neat and clean - always a positive sign in a restaurant! When someone gets up to leave, the table is cleaned quickly. Service - Order at the counter, then have a seat. They will bring the food out to you. Chips, salsa, and drinks are self-serve. You can snack on the chips while you wait for the food. The sweet lady at the register always has a pleasant smile. Food - Delicious but sometimes inconsistent. The Alambre Beef is a family favorite, but we need to ask for extra sauce. Tip: If you buy 3 tacos, you can get them with the homemade tortillas (+$2.99). For a light meal, go with a couple tacos. If you want to get full, try a burrito, torta, taco salad, or a Dublin Quesadilla. read more

We came here for belated Father's Day dinner with the fam bam and there was a spacious table for 7 for us at 6:30 pm on a Monday night. We waited for the rest of the family. We wrote a list of what each of us wanted to order since you order from the counter. In the meantime there was a condiment bar where you could have salsa and chips or those round wheelie snacks are abundant. No tab water is available but you could purchase bottled water or fountain drinks so I brought my own water bottle. I ordered the fish plate that comes with salad but it had a kick to it which was unexpected. Since my family enjoys Mexican food I will try the enchiladas next time. ok - so I'll preface this with what I mentioned in my original review, which is that this place has the best salsa and I love pairing the Dorito pinwheel things with the green jalapeño creamy salsa. Now it gets weird. They ALWAYS used to include a mini cup of each of the salsas in my delivery orders. Last four delivery orders, they stopped giving the green jalapeño salsa. So because I love it so much, I specifically order an 8oz tub of it. Guess what they delivered? Not the jalapeño salsa but rather their other green one which is a garlic salsa. Could've reported it and received a DoorDash refund, but i left it alone. The last two deliveries, they also did not include the dorito pinwheels like they always do, so I drive there to get 'em. Even gave them $5 for something free, bc ya know - just helping a business out and the owner guy is nice and was apologetic. Now today, I was in the area, so i stopped in for a taco, agua fresca, a large bag of those pinwheel doritos and an 8oz tub of the jalapeño salsa especially because the salsa bar was empty and the other orange one i like was not made well this time. So watery yuck. The girl taking orders didn't seem like she was well versed in punching orders into their system. Took awhile for her to enter those 4 items I ordered and needed to grab one of the other staff to help her, but whatever - still tipped her 18%. Then, why in the world would they finish up my order then tell me they're completely out of the jalapeño salsa and then ask if I want an 8oz tub of another salsa? So at this point, it seems they're trying to do the same thing as when i ordered this specific salsa for delivery and hope i'll be ok with something else, right? It also looked almost performative when the girl opened the cabinet under the salsa bar looking for more jalapeño salsa before she told me they were completely out. I respond with "that's the only salsa I wanted. I can wait while they make more. can they make more?" she says no. twice. I let her know that I wanted to be refunded for the salsa and bag of dorito pinwheels. All of a sudden they magically found more jalapeño salsa. All of this to say I'm now absolutely convinced the staff is trying to hoard this specific salsa for whatever reason. Like i said, it's delicious, but not a reason to freakin hoard it for yourself when that's a reason your customers come back. I'll also add that the quality of the food these last two times around was no bueno. The amount of lengua and garnish in my taco was just sad. Literally, the taco I ordered today is the same taco I have pictured in my original review, but then opened it up when i got home and looked nothing like it did before. I've recommended this place to my coworkers and now I take it back and it seems the other Yelpers agree that this is no longer the place we loved. Definitely taking a break from this place. To the owner - I think when you're not there, your team is unfortunately letting you down and giving your customers a different food experience then what you provide and are known for. read more

Being pregnant, I have a lot of food aversions so I was a little worried... but my goodness I inhaled my super burrito even before remembering to snap a photo for you guys. Ordered the 2 taco steak combo with rice and black beans. I asked for a corn tortilla, and I was charged and additional $3.50 (cus its "homemade"). I wasn't happy with the extra charge for 2 tortillas, but it was too late for me make any changes. The restaurant had a very strange smell, which carried over to my food when I took it home to eat. I was asked "what is that smell" BUT my food was actually delicious that I would eat it again. I hope the smell was a 1 time thing. My wife loved paneer taco too. 3.Ask for "to go" cup if you want drinks post your food as by default come in mason jar. Water bottle costs 75 cents which some may find it odd. Been here several times and this place deserves a review. This has become my favorite Mexican place recently, but not everything is a hit. What I like are their soft tacos. I have tried different meats and my top ones are beef birria (birria de rez), chile verde, al pastor. I usually like lengua (beef tongue) in Japanese cuisine, but beef tongue here was so-so. I have tried their handmade tortillas and they were pretty good. However, I am not sure $3 for 3 tortillas is worth it. I also liked their quesadilla mediana. My wife was here one time and ordered the fish plate, but did not enjoy it as much. The chips and salsas bar has become the main attraction. I realized this is why I am there a lot. It is complimentary to your meal and I thoroughly enjoy it! They have 2 types of chips: tortilla chips and dorito chips. I get the pickled carrots as a palate cleanser and add the pickled onions to my tacos. The best sauce in my opinion is a mixed sauce: half garlic and half jalapeno. I cannot stop eating chips with this combo sauce. When it gets a bit too much, I dip the chips into my 2nd sauce: the tomato salsa with some hot chili oil. This is very different from the creamy garlic and jalapeno, but still tasty and gives it a slight kick. There is also a green taco salsa (not pictured) that I get and splash on my soft tacos. I see myself going to this place very often since it's very close and that chips & salsas bar is amazing. I look forward to trying more different items. read more

Unfortunately, Dublin Taqueria was a huge disappointment. The chips tasted stale, and both the horchata and jamaica lacked flavor. As for the food, the tacos were decent, but the cheese they used was an unusual choice and didn't pair well with them. My wife ordered the cheese enchiladas, which turned out to be much spicier than expected. It would have been helpful if the staff had mentioned the spice level when we placed our order. The food and the service was terrible. We all ordered and the other two guests received their food; we had to wait at least 15 minutes or more for our food. We actually had to go up to the counter a second time to ask for our food. I ordered a tea and paid for the tea. I never received the tea. I ordered chicken fajitas, not good. The meat was dried up, and it was like they forgot to prepare my order and hurried up, or it was prepared and sat there waiting for it to be delivered to our table.
