I had to write another review about the High Tech Car Wash. This is my go to place to get my carwash as I've tried many others before but no other places compare to this place. All the employees are very well trained from the men who first take your car to the ladies who do the drying of your car. I need to emphasize the fact that other places do a quick 1,2,3 drying and your off on your way. Here the fabulous ladies take pride in their work with spraying your car clean as all the windows and mirrors are spotless, to the drying. The manager is always there no matter what the weather is and over sees everything to make sure it's pure perfection I say why go anywhere else when your getting the ultimate service here . read more

I took my brand new 2026 Chevy Equinox there yesterday at 5:45pm. I bought the car the night before. I drove it off the lot at 6:30pm. The car is all blacked out flawless. When the car is out and finished as I walk up immediately notice light scratches all over the drivers side. So I call someone over immediately who tells me they will get the manager. So when the guy comes over first he tries saying he doesn't see anything. Then all the sudden he does. So he tries telling me that all those scratches are from sand on the road that kicks up and scratches. He said it's black it's going to get scratched!! Not what I wanted to hear. First of all it's mostly all over the drivers side the passenger side wasn't anywhere as bad. So somehow during all the driving I did from when I bought the car till then the sand on the road caused all these scratches. This is what this guy is trying to tell me. What probably happened was there was something on the brush they used inside to wash the car or something in the towel they used to dry it. Those people don't care for all I know she dropped the towel on the ground and picked it up with some dirt and scratched my car all over. If it was from sand from driving it would be all over the car. I really didn't think they were gonna make some bs excuse like that considering the car was a day old. The guy couldn't even apologize nor did he offer any way to make this right. He told me that I should go and wax the car. It's a brand new car it was waxed at the factory!! I am sick over this. He told me it's gonna get scratched it's black if I didn't like it I shouldn't have bought a black car. I can't except my brand new car 1 day old coming out of supposedly a HAND CAR WASH and the finish being ruined. You can see the scratches in the pictures but you really can't understand how upsetting it is just from the pictures. Cause with the reflection from the paint it's hard to see. But they are there and you can see for yourself. People save yourself the aggravation and do not bring your cars there cause they will destroy your paint also. I just hope that these scratches come out if I get the car waxed. Also I posted this same review this afternoon and when I came on to check it somehow the review was gone!! They told me they didn't have time to do a mini detail, says it takes 20 minutes, and there was about 8 cars there total. For some reason the majority of the people working the end where your car gets detailed and cleaned on the inside are women and they're not very good or detail oriented. I left $65 poorer and my interior was still dirty in very obvious places they neglected. There's too many other car washes near here to spend this type of money for shoddy service. I had to stop at Walgreens a few blocks west and buy a Magic eraser to get off scuff marks on outside of car they told me they didn't have time to get rid of, cost me an additional $5 and about 5 minutes of time. Ok since when did a regular car wash cost almost $40. I swear this happened and it was very sudden. I vividly remember getting a hand wash for my car prior to the pandemic and playing $20-25 at another place. Anyway, in my journey of finding a new car wash I came across this one and so far it has been the most decent and affordable which a regular interior and exterior going for about $37. Now if you want the mats to be washed that is extra, I believe an extra $10. Now in terms of the wash, it's fast and def not detailed but I would expect that for a regular wash anyway. The staff does a decent job with drying and wiping down. I would recommend going here on a weekday because the weekends can get really crazy. read more

First time here and definitely not my last. I pass by High Tech multiple times a week and keep reminding myself that I must bring my car here. I had just received a discount coupon in the mail and knew I would take advantage of it. Finally, a through cleaning, not just me with a garden hose. Their location is such that a line can go down an active street so I got their early during the week to avoid that weekend rush that I always see. I was the third car in and my only issue is that I had a minimal amount of time to decide on the service I wanted. I picked a middle range that would clean inside and out and shine up those tires. Drove in, got out and walked through the store to make the payment and wait outside for my car. It was like an Autobarn of accessories. You need it, they have it. The car came out sparkling but it did not end there. Two team members with rags wiped the car down inside and out. Cleaned tires and windows. The car had already been vacuumed. I left a tip in the box for the team as they did a fantastic job. They worked efficiently and throughly to justify the cost. Bottom line, The car looked GREAT. After doing construction I had dust and small debris in the bed of my pick up truck. Brought it to get cleaned. $60. Later the bed is now filled with soap and water. Still has small debris. Was told I should have closed the cap. Defeating the whole reason n of the car wash. I asked if I can use a hose to rinse the soap out and was told we don't have one. UPDATE: I had an issue with my experience at High Tech Hand Car Wash this past weekend. My premium floor mats were completely missing when I picked my car back up. The whole situation turned me off and I felt, originally, that it wasn't handled properly. No sooner than 24 hours later the owner of the car wash, Nathan, called me directly to apologize, pay for the mats AND pick them up for me at the dealership. When I arrived to pick them up, the staff was apologetic and respectful. The experience left me feeling very happy; the business took full accountability and rectified the issue within 24 hours. They have regained a customer and I look forward to returning for my next wash. read more

Solid place that I've been coming to for a couple of years now at least, the guys in the oil change place are friendly and knowledgeable and the folks on the car wash side are also polite and do a nice job.... Always a consistent wash. Only car wash I can find that doesn't use the machines! They do move pretty fast but they are very thorough. A little bit on the price of your side but I never mind paying for good quality. I did the super(?) wash I think for 37.99, then was charged an additional $3 for having an SUV. After a $5 tip we're at a little less than $50 for a very subpar car wash. I will not be going back. Typically, I praise High-Tech - I have been recommending them to anyone I speak to about Car Washes, ever since changing owners and updating their equipment, I have had mostly good experiences. When the new owner is there, he has great customer service qualities, and I feel I get my money's worth. However, just this morning, was not one of those "I'm satisfied with my overpriced car wash that I can typically do in 2 hours time, highly detailed in my driveway, but decided to take 30 minutes and pay for a service instead" mornings. $40 for a Platinum wash on my White GMC Acadia SLT - I arrived at around 10:30 AM with my small son, the girl at the cash register gave him a Green lollipop (thank you!). Watching the car get scrubbed down, I expected a diamond to pop out at the end...however after the first stage was done, i realized that there were still leaves in the rear door of my car that were not removed (after their vigorous scrubbing). But, no sweat, right? The car would pass through so much pressured water they'll blow out....WRONG. Ok - I'm sure one of the folks who finish the car off would get them out... (I'm not being petty here, I'd gladly remove it myself, but there's more to this: $40, someone should be really squeezing the value out of this). The car came out, looking great - for the most part. I do just as good a job (I'm being pretty conservative here, my detailing job makes my car look like it came off the production line, in comparison). It was glowing! The rims appeared clean, the finish was glossy...nice! Let's get that tip ready! I got the nod from the girls that the car was done: The leaves were still in the back door. You mean to tell me, 4 sets of hands finished off the car, and not one looked at the leaf? Fine... $40, I'm taking the leaf off. I pull the leave out and notice my back door is filthy. There's much splattered all on my roof, mud under my windows, smearing around the wheel wells...dirt all around and no owner or manager in sight to haul over, while my kid is screaming over a dinosaur in the toy display, to tell him "What is this?!". $40 and my car is glistening....under the film of muck, dirt and debris still on the car. High-Tech, I'm disappointed. For $40 i expected better. For $20 I expected better. I pay my kids in lollipops and quarters and they get the car cleaner. The interior however...is perfect! It's not a $40 value - it's not the price, but the service overall. Disappointed, friends. Very disappointed. This review was written on Sunday, November 8th at 11:28 AM, my vehicle had passed through at approximated 10:38 AM or so. Should management read this, I can provide my license plate information. I never write reviews but I am about to cry. I brought my brand new bright red Honda civic here and they destroyed the entire left side of my car and didn't tell me. While it was in the cleaning I saw a huge black mark on my door that looked the size of my forearm. I'm non confrontational and was praying to the lord above it was just dirty soap or something. So I go to the bathroom and try and calm down. I come out and look at my car as I go in and am so relieved there's no mark. WRONG. I got home and looked again and the entire front is covered in black scratches , almost like rubber scuff marks. Then the place where the huge black mark was is COMPLETELY scratched and looks almost like the finish was completely taken off so my door is now 2 colors. Mind you this car is literally 2 months old with no scratches at all. What's worse? THEY DIDNT EVEN TELL ME! Not a "hey I'm sorry an accident occurred and your car got hit let us detail it for you" or "hey your car got hit we are so sorry" NOTHING! And whatever they used to try and hide the damage completely ruined my door. It's a red car and super sunny so it's hard to see the massive discoloration on the door but I circled it for you. They even " compounded " the scratches i did to the hood of my car - by using a shovel to move snow off this past winter. All hard workers here and professional AND polite. I tried this car wash for the first time, I have no experience from the previous owner. A lady inside swore by this place and said they were amazing. I purchased the platinum package 30.99, now before I continue let me state my car was extremely filthy from parking underneath a tree everyday,! I haven't washed it since a few months ago. There was still dirt residue in some "hard to reach areas" upon immediate inspection. I drove a quick 5 minutes back to work were I decided to inspect the car. The back seat was untouched with dirt and sand on the seats and the ledge was not wiped were the dust/pollen builds up. I don't know if this is included in the package but I purchased it because it said "interior" cleaning, which is hardest for myself to do because I do not have excess to an outside vacuum besides the gas station (which let's face it I never go to). Attached are pictures of the dirt left over and dust inside the car. Considering that my car was very dirty it was a decent wash, for premium package I'm not sure I would get it again - I'm afraid the dirt they missed on the hood is now waxed over. Full service is $30, I expected full service. My car was barely vacuumed and the mats on the front were still dirty. The console and middle area were not wiped down at all bc I passed my own cleaning wipes over it once and it was instantly clean. Also, whatever or whoever was scrubbing the top of my car made all my add-ons loose and even took one off completely. They also broke my rain guard for my sunroof. I waited in line for a solid 20 minutes for a very mediocre service. I just moved to this area and said let me try it out. I'll drive to Suffolk for a good car cleaning. read more

What left me in awe was the amount of time and dedication the people who dried off the car and cleaned the windows put into it. They always do a good job here, inside and out. They make sure the windows arw fine well with no streaks, and they dry the windows competely, lowering them and drying the tops. The workers manage a smile if you smile and are polite. I love to watch the car go through the car wash process too! They do it by hand with soft brushes. read more

Absolute rip off of a car wash. I wanted a quick exterior wash, thinking it would be between $9-$12, and it ends up costing $19! For an exterior only wash? There are countless car washes all over that will do a full service for that price. Mind you, there was no exterior option on the receipt handed to me. This is what I get for not asking until I got to the register, but still, the old adage that "the customer is always right" does not apply here. When I ask how much a full service is, the owner, also at the register, rudely replied that it was $5 more. I asked why an exterior only was so expensive, and got nothing in reply except a rude stare, as if I was bothering him or wasting his time. Before driving away, I post my complaint on their facebook page and the same owner proceeds to get into a comment argument with me, accusing ME of being rude! I work in customer service, and have for many years. No matter what you may feel personally, if a customer complains, and does so on social media, you respond with professionalism, not emotion, and you offer something to make it right. A free wash, a free wheel brightener, SOMETHING to appease that unhappy customer. You do not, under any circumstances, get into a social media argument with that customer. No one wins in those kind of circumstances. The owner looks foolish, and the customer, me, will never take his car there again. There are so many car washes all over, and every single one of them is way better than this sub-par establishment. Not to mention the car wash wasn't even that good. Better than average car wash. These guys usually do a decent job - in that you get a nice clean car the first time through the wash. The price is average, there is usually a wait - I like to go early on my way to work. The only downside is that the exit is right on Jericho turnpike and it is virtually impossible to make a left turn out of the place. read more
