Amazing spot for some Matcha! It has a very pretty look to everything, having some cute outdoor tables and the inside is nice as well with seating. Every month they have new specialty drinks on a seperate menu. I got one of the monthly items which was the Minty March Matcha and my girlfriend got the regular Matcha with 2 pumps of vanilla sweetner. Both of us enjoyed our drink but I especially loved mine. I'm not a matcha person by any means so it could be the fact I'm not experienced but the mint factor for the drink was seriously amazing. They added lucky charm marshmellows on top which was fun to try and grab. The people inside were very nice as well helping us out as first time customers. Definitely check this place out! read more

I've been wanting to try this spot for a while and it did not disappoint! We went for the seasonal drinks because we were feeling all the spooky vibes, and wow! I got the Witch's Brew... absolutely delicious and you could tell it was made with care. My husband got the pumpkin chai and literally finished it before we even left the parking lot. The whole place has such good energy... cozy and friendly. Everyone working there was super sweet, and they even have a little free library (which I'm obsessed with). There's cute merch and small shop finds too, so it's a fun place to hang out, not just grab a drink. Already planning our next visit. read more

I love High Tide Coffee! One thing I was bummed about today was finding out that while the hours show until 3pm, the kitchen closes at 2pm. Love this spot! Super cute ambience with a fun little wall of candles and other merchandise for purchase. Both coffee and matcha are solid, also really like the protein chia puddings but haven't had a chance to try the other food yet. Service is always friendly and the people who work here are great. This was the best latte I think I've ever had! I had a 16 ounce iced Staycation Latte! It is a seasonal drink with espresso, coconut syrup, whole milk, coconut cream cold foam. It was perfection!! Y'all this is the cutest place to catch up with your friends or spend time reading because the interior is was takes the cake with this place. It's giving traditional surfer beach coffee house that you'll find throughout the coast in my opinion, but with the cute little touches that are less common. I got the iced oatmilk vanilla latte and the quality of espresso was definitely there, and the milk was Ghost Oats, which I know is a brand that prides itself on good ingredients. If you in the area, then this is definitely high recommendation in comparison to some of the other coffee shops I've been to in SC. Folks are also really nice inside too. read more

This is an absolutely charming and delightful coffeehouse. There are a million coffeehouses in the world and many of them are great. But far too many are very modern and, frankly, uncomfortable places. This spot is inviting and comfortable. There is seating inside and out and the seating is both funky and old-timey, as contradictory as that sounds. The coffee is very good. They've got fancy drinks that are very good and basic stuff that's good, too. They also have pastries, paninis, fancy toasts, burritos, and other food. The menu is extensive. They've got their own parking lot, too, so big points there. Highly recommended. read more

This coffee spot was directly across the street from the motel we stayed in during our annual trip to visit family in San Clemente. Atmosphere is very beach-chic, and the staff are great. Shout out to Bella who helped us and kept us laughing. The drinks were super well-balanced and flavorful. We appreciate a coffee drink where the sweet flavoring does not overpower, allowing the bitterness of the espresso to poke through. We did not dine in, but the room was very comfortable while we waited. We enjoyed High Tide Coffee so much it became our daily morning stop. Very disappointed in this local coffee shop. Came in at 7:15 a.m. for a coffee and morning pastries. While the coffee is great the pastries were from the day before. Some sick person with a mask was packing up my day old pastries. I've never seen a coffee shop sell pastries that are a day old for full price at 7:15 a.m. No thanks! Nothing like serving Christmas house guests day old pastries to make a good impression on your cute town they travelled to visit! Told them to keep the pastries and walked out. Great spot! I love when a place has unique lattes to differentiate their store! A must try is the ORANGE BLOSSOM MOCHA. It embodies warmth and comfort in a cup! I am not even the biggest fan of orange and I love normal mochas. However the balance of Orange with the other flavors in the coffee enhance the experience to be something well balanced, original, and unique. It almost reminds me of a famous Armenian dessert call Mamounia (cream of wheat with butter sugar cinnamon and maybe a splash of cardamon). How can you go wrong with a combination like that? Also the staff is very friendly. The environment is cute and cozy, with WIFI, so it's a great place to study and drown your sorrows in lots of good drinks. The only thing is that I wish they had soymilk, but I am probably the minority as I love the creaminess and the high protein content. Shaka brahhhh! I will be back. read more

It's safe to say...I LOVE High Tide Coffee. I was going every morning to another coffee shop in Dana Point, which I was probably their first customer of the day each day. They never gave a warm greeting, which was fine, but they also never remembered my drink which is simply a black iced americano lol. I'd say that High Tide is always SO welcoming and warm. All of their staff is so nice and happy. It makes you feel good visiting their location. I love good service and I haven't had a single bad experience here. Their craft drinks are very good, I had the thin mints cold brew (drink of the month in March?) and it was AMAZING. I'm a huge believer that coffee shops need to have a curated vibe from the exterior look, interior decor, and music. This place hit all the marks. I loved the deocr, the furniture, the playlist, the gift items that were for sale, all of it. I got an iced snickerdoodle latte with oatmilk. For those who like their lattes on the sweeter side without going too overboard, i recommend this. For food, I got the Spicy Lox avocado toast and MAN WAS IT FIRE!!!! The perfect combo of ingredients. My family got an acai bowl, almond croissant, and pesto capresse and all were 10/10s! Service was amazing as well. What a hidden gem! I've driven past this place so many times and never thought to check it out. Until...I saw a local FB post about their "pay it forward" board. Acts of kindness definitely speaks to me. Saturday morning the line was out the door which is a great sign. Fortunately, it gave me ample time to make a decision as the drink menu was too good to have to choose just one! I ordered chagachinno and snickerdoodle latte. Great little coffee shop to chill, eat, drink, and do some work! The staff were super friendly and nice and their little shop was cute and had local arts & crafts and some of their own coffee. They have a little parking lot and a few tables outside and a bunch inside. They have somewhat slow, but usable wifi, and a few plugs to get juice for phones or laptops. The pumpkin pop tar was super good and pumpkin-y and sweet and the pastry was flaky and moist. I love a local coffee shop and have spent hundreds of dollars at this one. I don't live far from here and their coffee is good! Over the last year or so I have noticed the service getting slower and slower and it absolutely broke me this morning. Ordered a small latte at 9:02 am and it wasn't ready until 9:19. Staff was small talking and not moving quickly at all even though there were four of them behind the counter. There were three customers in front of me and if the employees noticed the need to speed it up it wouldn't have been such an issue. If you don't care and are fine to mill around then this place is nice, but if you have got things to do and want to grab a coffee in the am this is not the place to do it. For $7 for a small latte I would hope it would be ready in 5 minutes or less! read more
