Orange vanilla latte. Sound strange but oh so yummy. Kudos to whoever thought of that combo. It's like a creamsicle (coffee version) party in your mouth. I went with the intention of getting the butterscotch latte and ended up with OVL instead. So that just means, I have to go back. I have a feeling I will be going back quite a bit. The honey got the orange mint tea. I love how they brew loose leaves right in front of you. Just how tea should be prepared. It was delicious. Plain and simple but yet so good. The service here is one of the friendliest and accommodating I have experienced in a coffee shop. I don't like her vibe at ALLLLL. I've never been to a coffee shop to feel shitty walking out after. I feel like coffee shops majority of employees are usually very kind. EVEN STARBUCKS WORKERS ARE NICE.... any who it's a coffee shop so shall we talk about the coffee? Well. Nothing really special it was ok. I wish there was more selections to it. Because they're so limited if you ask the employee and question ANYTHING about the menu she'll cut you off with the "we don't carry that here" ya it's cute decor and all but bad service and a 7/10 rating coffee isn't really the WAVE for me. I love me some good service and good drinks but bad service with an ok coffee doesn't inspire/ encourage me to be back at this spot. I counted the seats, it's about 14 of them (including 4 tables that seat 2 people each). Not that many outlets and no bathroom. So it's not the perfect spot for work or study but it sure has very good coffee and atmosphere! I stopped by for many 1-2 hours then I have to use the restroom. Oh, and they have Wi-Fi, the password is "wifipassword" you are welcome :) Just in case you are shy to ask for the password. The food here includes some pastries, Grilled Cheese & Soup. Some RX protein bars and a variety of chocolates are also sold right by the counter. I ordered a cappuccino and I loved it! Defenitiely will come by more often. read more

I'm glad this place opened up in this area of Glendale. It's in a central location (although parking isn't easily located). I usually park in the lot behind the dollar tree/chipotle. The place is open/bright and has windows that look out onto the main street corner by city hall. I've been there a couple of times and liked it but this last time, I decided to be adventurous. I ordered the Pineapple-Lime Espresso Tonic and am sure glad I did. It was such an interesting drink that just made me feel like I needed to keep sipping to find out the secret. Great artisan coffee and in Glendale!. Glendale finally has a great place to pick up a nice cup of coffee. At the corner of broadway and Glendale you can't miss this place. I tried the breve cortado and the butterscotch latte. Both hit the spot and were spot on with the best in Los Angeles. It was currently in the soft opening stages so it looks like their menu will be adjusted shortly. Frank and his crew were great and friendly with the locals who themselves seem to be happy with the neighborhood addition. I avoided Glendale because of the lack of coffee. I now don't have an excuse not to visit Glendale. Great seating with bar table against the glass for those who like to people watch as I do while enjoying my coffee Lots of natural indirect light which made it easy in the eyes. Just a block or so from the Glendale galleria. I will be back for more. I now have a place for a coffee pit stop during my Glendale bike adventures. Glendale has finally arrived! Believe it not, the love one has for coffee can be seen in its presentation and flavor. This place is a must if you love coffee. The creativity in coffee here is remarkable. I had a "Nathan" Palmer which is lemonade with cold brew and yes i said lemonade with cold brew. This blew my mind with what one can do with coffee. Then I followed it up with a "Pom" Tonic. Which is an espresso with tonic water and I believe pomegranate syrup, topped with a lemon wedge. I loved every sip of coffee from this place. It's alright tasting, however they refuse to give you water unless you buy something. Even water from the tap. Was walking past recently (and I have bought coffee here many times prior) and asked for some water given this heat and was told they will not give any unless I purchase something. I mean, seriously? Great spot for studying. Big open windows but because of its location the sun does hit you right in the eye. I got the cold brew which didn't hit as a home run for me as it was a bit on the sour side but I haven't given up hope for this place yet as it seems to be the only artisan coffee place around this area. Will definitely give it another chance and come back to try something else. Staff was really nice and accommodating. A really big problem which I found odd was that this place didn't have a restroom. The baristas have never been overly friendly, but the last few times I've been there they have been so miserable it's not even worth coming here anymore. I am so sad I have not been able to go back to this place for their amazing hot butterscotch latte! I've only had it once last month and I've been thinking about it ever since. I wish I have this place closer just to have that butterscotch latte every dang day without getting tire of it. It's that delicious! The coffee in it is not as strong or bitter as other places, and you can actually taste the saltiness of the butterscotch flavor! Simply delightful! You have to try it and you'll understand what I can't put into words. I can't wait to go back and bring boss lady (mom) with me so she can try it as well. Highlight Coffee is my favorite coffee place in the Glendale area. I used to work not to far from there on Broadway and anytime I managed to have a moment to go grab some much needed caffeine I would go. They manage to match their beautiful aesthetic and ambience with some really delicious coffee. On top of that, the staff and baristas were always really welcoming making the experience of grabbing a drink really great. I never had the opportunity to go through all the menu but I definitely can't speak highly enough of the items I have tried. The drip coffee, pour over and cold brew are all top notch choices. The Nathan Palmer, their mix of cold brew and lemonade, is such a treat. At first it sounds like it shouldn't work but when you do take the risk you will find it is worth it. I almost exclusively get this now because they are one of the few places Ive seen with this kind of drink. Also if you are looking for a food option their Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup is also really tasty. One of the few negatives of this place is the parking. There is a lot in the back that I believe you can park in but getting to the entrance of the lot is kind of a difficult task. You are better off trying to find some street parking and paying for it just for the ease of it. I know of all the things I miss about working in the Glendale, this is definitely high on that list. Any time I find myself in the area I almost always find time to stop in and grab something. read more

I usually order a CORTADO when I'm out since I do my own pourovers at home. Hot food-wise they offer a GRILLED CHEESE! Using bread from Bread Lounge, it's available until they sell out which happened one time to me literally as I walked in. :( There's also a tomato soup to make that perfect combo, but I haven't had that yet. One of my favorite coffee shops. I love it here and they deserve five stars. This is a small coffee shop in Glendale on the corner of Glendale Ave and Broadway. The coffee is great, the workers are nice, and there is a rewards program (a free drink after purchasing a total of 10 drinks). I always get the Nathan Palmer which is a combination of coffee and lemonade. I know it sounds weird but trust me, it's amazing. You can always ask for a sample. However, parking is really a hassle and an issue (which isn't their fault). There is street parking on both Broadway and Glendale, but it is usually rare to find parking. You can try to park in the Chipotle/Dollar King parking lot but it's even hard to find parking there. read more

I love the interior and design so much. A portion of an old hotel converted into a coffee shop and it's gorgeous.
