We got one with pork, the other chicken. I appreciated that the flavor profiles of each were so different! We also tried the umami rice bowl... perfect seasoning and portion for an app. For ramen I had the truffle shoyu and husband had a spicy tonkotsu. We both added extra protein (pork) because most ramen places play around with the meat portion LOL. But the noodles, the egg, and all the accoutrements were texturally excellent. SO GOOD. They have a few beers on tap, a decent cocktail menu and wine. I grabbed a SauviB and hubs had a beer. It was the perfect balance to all the delicious umami flavors we experienced. Service was lovely as the place is small, and everything was clean. Our tab ran us about $88 before tip so come ready to spend. But the quality was worth it! I'll return when I'm craving ramen.

This visit honestly reminded me a little of Jinya's ramen, which personally isn't my favorite style. The broth almost tasted creamy, like milk had been added. Maybe not, but it just didn't taste as fresh to me with a deep flavor as before. Someone also recommended the Okiboru buns, and I wasn't too impressed with those either. I originally wanted the braised ribs, but TikTok hype convinced me otherwise, so that part is on me. Looking back, I think the ribs or even the panko shrimp probably would've been the better choice. The shrimp is my normal app so I take fault for the switch up. Overall, I'd still say give it a try for yourself because everyone's taste is different. By the end of the meal, my throat was sore and irritated. I genuinely don't know how the staff work in that environment for hours at a time. Opening a door or improving ventilation would make a huge difference. For that reason alone, I wouldn't return, which is disappointing because the kitchen is clearly doing a lot right.
