Lack of communication with me, different stories each time I called, dropped car off at 8am and at 3pm (when I called) nobody seemed to know what was happening with my vehicle or where the technician was. After car was there all day it was never fixed & diagnostics NOT COMPLETED. Left vehicle overnight so that it could be diagnosed first thing in the morning. Still not done until after 2pm. I called two weeks ago and spoke to finance manager... sugary nice until I said I need to cancel GAPP insurance. whoa... total tone change. I was disappointed in my car purchase experience. "Pickey people pick Hiley" what a joke. First off, I emailed one of the car salesmen about a Titan (not the one i bought) I was interested in. I get the email back stating conformation that the Titan was there. Once I get there am told it was sold. I was disappointed because, I hate being lied to. Also the truck I was intrested had lower mileage than the one I purchased. Second disappointment, I take delivery of vehicle after signing paperwork. I noticed fuel gage was still at 5/16. I was told by the finance manager and salesmen that I would get a full tank of fuel. Third disappointment, after I noticed the fuel gauge being the same level. I noticed the interior of the truck was still dirty. Before signing I was told it would get a mini detail. To me the wash seemed rushed without interior cleaned. I was lied to three times. Very disappointed to say the least. And to make the matter worse. I received an email to congratulate me on my vehicle purchase and to rate my vehicle experience. Brought my 2014 GMC Terrain in for an oil change right at 9 AM. Two hours later I'm told its ready and turns out they were about to have me drive off in someone elses car. Then another 15 minutes later my car is ready, except somehow during an oil change they managed to disable my entire infotainment center resulting in going back to the shop for another hour... I took my truck in for an engine issue and an oil change. When they told me how much it would cost, I told them not to do the work and that I was going to trade my truck in for a new one. When I picked it up, they charged me for an oil change even though I said not to do it. I thought that legally, they aren't supposed to do anything without the customer's authorization? I came in over the Memorial Day weekend after a horrific experience at another dealership. Andrew was our salesman and took great care of us! He listened to our vehicle concerns and brought us exactly what we asked for. We test drove a certified vehicle and loved it, never felt any pressure to keep looking. We got a great price and two hours later walked out owners. Tim in finance was great as well, we were in a small rush and he quickly walked us through the paperwork. This is by far the worst place you can go to take your car i would always take my car to get oil change and they always wanted to get me to do more when my car did not need it, about 2 weeks ago i went to get it serviced again and they came back and said i needed to get my high-beam light changed I denied there offer and now that I'm having a friend do it for much less than what they where charging as i opened my hood i noticed some wired cut on my day lights ,, please note no one else before this has serviced my car and never had issues. This is very sad to find out some one would cut my wires , a place that i trusted I Am never going back here again. My head lights where working fine until that day. Took my GMC in for a battery replacement. When I took it in, everything worked fine. When I got it back, the AC was out. I called for an appointment with a loan car, and they put me on a waiting list, but I never heard back. When I set up an appointment to come in and drop it off, they wanted to charge $150 just to look at the AC. The car only has 50,000 miles on it, and it comes with an extended warranty from GM that they could've easily looked up in their system. They would've seen that the AC was covered. GMC is supposed to be a higher end GM product, and I would expect a better level of service. Clearly that is not the case. Since we just moved, I'd been hoping to find some place closer than Sewell in Dallas. Sewell has a car for me today and already has the warranty information, so there's no 'diagnostic fee'. I don't really want to drive to Dallas, but it's worth it to be treated with respect and an appropriate level of customer service. read more

I will never take my car there again. Not only did they try and make me pay $150 just for a basic diagnostic, when I told them what was wrong with it, but they tried to overcharge me significantly. I only needed a new battery and they told me it was basically impossible to do elsewhere and that I had to pay an extra $100 to get it done there. I went to auto zone and bought a new battery, replaced it myself with the store clerk in the parking lot. It took a total of 10 minutes and they were going to charge me almost $300. My battery was also under warranty at the dealer. They told me it had expired due to mileage. That is a lie. Battery's are measured by date. Do NOT go there, especially female. Don't get your oil changed at Hiley GMC service department. They "forgot" to change mine the last two times I've been there. Earlier this year they charged me for an oil change that they didn't do. Colby Cotton, their service department employee, apologized and gave me his business card with a promise the next oil change was on them. So I took my vehicle there last Monday for my free oil change. And you guessed it, no oil change again! Pretty incredible to believe but another local shop can vouch that my oil and filter were in fact not changed when I took it to them the next day. read more

Do not get a Vehicle Inspection at this location!!! They are running the biggest scam. My car is fairly new and I was told that I failed my inspection by Larry Bennett because of a gas cap. He told me the only way I would pass that I would have to buy a GM gas cap for $60 and pay $50 for putting it on. I went to AutoZone and purchased a new one instead for $17, they failed me again on my inspection. Larry said it must be a GM gas cap in order to pass. I got my car reinspected at Jiffy Lube on Hwy 80 by Aaron and my car passed with no problems. They were rude to me because I refused to purchase a GM part. This is wrong and they should be ashamed of themselves. I don't want anything else to do with your Auto Service Department. read more

I took my truck here to get a oil change and my inspection done. I dropped my truck off and hung around while. When I went to pick up my truck I find that they're service tech ran over something, blew my tire and damaged my rim... They didn't have eather one in stock and had to order them. I had to leave my truck there wich ruined all of my plans for the weekend , they did give me a loaner though. A few days later I called to check on my truck and the parts finally came in and my truck was ready... I asked if they did the oil change and inspection.. Luckily I asked cause the didn't do the inspection. Had i not called it wouldn't have been done. I informed the representative that I was on my way to get my truck. I arrived and they managed to finish up everything finally. I turned in the loaner keys and next thing I know they're telling me they were going to charge me for the full used in the loaner and still charge me for the full price of the oil change /inspection. I ended up taking the loaner and filling it back up and paying the full price for everything. I'll never go back to any of the Hiley dealerships/ service departments. I'll be sure to tell everyone I know and meet to not go there. I've heard bad things about them but I wanted to give them the chance cause they're close to my home. Realized my house key was missing when i got home. Called Hiley back and spoke with a rep who was positive that my key wasn't removed. Found house key under seat. Rep also raised his voice. I'm really irritated with Hiley GMC Service department, I've been there twice to get my Denali an oil change and both times I've felt invisible and ignored. There is service people sitting at their desks and no one gets up to greet you. I went in yesterday and I basically had to get out of my car with my 3 kids to talk to someone about why I was there. I also got my truck detailed and I still haven't gotten it back or a call from anyone in the service department letting me know it was going to take longer then expected. I had to call them 6 times and the last time I called they told me my truck would be ready at 5 so I called around 6:30 and they lady that answered the phone said they closed the service department at 6. I'm still carless with things to do and I still haven't gotten a courtesy call from anyone with any kind of update. I call and my phone call doesn't even go through. read more

I have a 2011 Terrain and Hiley-Buick GMC has serviced it since the day I made the purchase. They have always gone over and above to give me a positive experience. Most recently... in fact just two days ago I took it in for: two recalls, an oil change, wiper blade change and replacing an air conditioner belt with one I had already purchased somewhere else. They went out of their way to search for the belt (I was shopping with my sister while car was in for service) and had told them it was back of the car under the mat. They had removed the mat but saw no sign of the belt. So they called me and with much patience (my battery ran down during the call and I had to call back on another phone) they continued the search until they found it. Even after that they reduced the bill for the labor by 10 percent. read more

I had an appointment scheduled for Saturday morning at 10:15 for an oil change. I was late to the appointment by 15 minutes because I was lost. I'm from San Antonio so I usually have my car serviced at GMC in SA. Since I was in the Ft. Worth area for the weekend, I decided to schedule my service. It was an absolute nightmare. When I arrived, I was not greeted. I had to walk into the booth before someone said anything to me. There were not a lot of people getting their vehicle serviced. While my vehicle was being serviced, I spoke with a salesman, Mr. Robert, because he contacted me about selling my vehicle. I spoke with the salesman for maybe an hour. My fiance and I went back to the waiting room and waited there for about 45 mins. My fiance went to find someone to see check the status of my vehicle. The service rep. recommended that I get a new filter and a fuel injection. I specifically asked how much longer would it take, and he informed me that it would be about 15 minutes. I obliged, and my fiance and I returned back to the customer lounge. Well another 2 hours later, my car was finally ready.....and wet because it was not dried after the car wash. We were there from 10:30 to 2:15 for an oil change. It was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. No one ever checked on me to let me know the status of my car. If my fiance would not have went to find the service rep., I would probably still be waiting. It was awful, and I will not be a repeat customer. read more

I had a 9AM appt on Wednesday. My engine light was on. Left vehicle, no one called about my car. Around 4pm, I called to check on it, service tech said they had not had time to look at my vehicle, it would have to stay overnight. Tech said I would get a call by 10AM Thursday to left me know what they had found. At 11AM, I called them. Tech told me what was wrong, they had the part in stock, gave me a price and I said fix it. I drove to the dealership around 2pm, vehicle was not fixed. Tech said when service guy went to get part, someone had already gotten to it first, they were waiting on delivery of another part. Bought a brand new vehicle, but the tail light was defective with moisture in it. The service department said they couldn't fix it before delivery, and they asked us to take it to our closest dealership for warranty since we were from out of town...they said it would be very easy. Not so much, we tried this but were given the runaround. I have now been to two dealerships and it is still not fixed. Hiley did finally order us a new light, but would not make special considerations for our inconvenience, and told us to come by when we could and they would put us in line for repair. Since we are from out of town, this could have meant we would spend hours waiting at the dealership for something they should have fixed before the purchase...but I guess selling cars is their highest priority, no too much worried about customer satisfaction. Now, it has been over two weeks and our trade-in has still not been paid off. Hiley told me they processed the payoff two weeks ago, but somehow, my lender has no record of it. Lucky for me, it seems as though I get to pay interest on two vehicles! Oh well, at least they were able to move their inventory... read more

I unfortunately have to leave this review. I called to schedule an oil change and did so successfully and was called back and told that I had a recall and it could be done at the same time. I asked about how long since I was going to be waiting and was told about two hours. I agree and arrive the next morning at 8:30 am and wait in the waiting area. At the two hour mark (10:30am) I go ask the representative about a status. I was informed that the recall gave them trouble and the module wouldn't take the software update so they were going to have to order the part. Also that they were about to start the oil change and it would be another 30 minutes. I go back to the waiting area and proceed to do research on recalls against my car. During this research I discover that the part was being recalled due to contamination and was to be replaced. No software update required. I debated on saying anything until the 3 hour mark came and I was still there having watched many others come and go for an oil change. I asked to speak to the service mgr but he wasn't available so I expressed to the next in charge that I had not only been lied to and told that they were trying to update software on a part that was to be replaced but that I was going to have to return because they didn't have the part on hand. I don't understand how there was a complete breakdown in the service center from the representative that scheduled my service to the fact my car probably sat there for two hours to only be fed a lie that they had been working on it. Then to top it off they didn't even make an attempt to expedite my oil change. I didn't end up leaving there until after 12 for a lousy oil change. I later received a call from the service manager that acknowledged that they should have never scheduled my recall work. Though I still need to have the recall done on my car I'm not sure it will be done at Hiley. read more

Bad attitude of defensiveness and nothing we can do. Never again Hiley or GM !!! I Bought a new 4WD GMC Sierra 1500 about a month ago. At about 3000 miles the windshield cracked starting at the center top edge then going down about 10 inches then 90 degree turn thru passenger side. Absolutely nothing hit the windshield. Sight unseen when I made the appointment the service people denied anything was faulty. After looking at it they tried to convince me that something had hit it. NOT! I've certainly seen what a rock chip looks like and nothing hit it. After a frustrating debate, they said they would see what they could do and promised to call before then end of the day. Should be no surprise that they failed to call. I also noted in writing at delivery a defect/blemish in the front grill chrome. They assured me they would fix it when I brought it back. I'm sure they won't be able to find the delivery form I signed with the defect noted. read more
