Without a doubt, the dumbest, and worst customer service, from an individual ever, in my car shopping career. Why you ask? Allow me to opine: I inquired about a 2019 GMC Sierra Denali, and Selina sent a text (no call) the following morning. After a few text messages, I asked her to call, so I could ask some questions. Again, she answered them via text, as she (in my opinion) seemed uncomfortable with holding a real phone conversation. Very curt, to be polite. I asked her, via text (her way of communication) to get a best price on this truck. I explained that there was: 1. No trade 2. So we bought a brand new GMC Denali from here. The salesman was good as gold. We decided to purchase the extended bumper to bumper warranty that covered paint chips, windshield chips, etc. a small piece of paint has started coming off on the top of the front bumper where it meets up with another body piece. My wife was told that this was due to the air damn rubbing against the curb and therefore was her faulty. Negative. The paint is peeling. Her Denali sits high enough to not rub on the curbs. In fact, the Lexus she traded in WOULD hit the curb, so she's well aware. I 100% will never spend another dime at a place that will not stand behind a warranty on an 80,000 dollar vehicle. Shop elsewhere. I'll post pics of the paint when I get back. 8-6-19 Another update. So I added that my wife had purchased the warranty that covers windshield chips. Well, she did in fact get a rock chip, but before she could make it across the metroplex to get it repaired, it had turned into a crack. Guess what !! They won't replace, or repair. Shocking, I know. I asked the service rep this exact question, "so if we are driving by your dealership, and she gets a rock chip, but while exiting the ramp and turning into the parking lot, it turns into a crack, you won't repair it ?" Want to guess the answer ??? No. It pretty comical at this point. They sell the hyped up warranties but I guess you had better get a tow truck to deliver the vehicle in the event of a chip. I arrived a half hour beforehand to meet with Cheyenne Witt. She was not there! Neither was the car she had promised to have parked out front when I arrived! No courtesy call, nothing. RIP OFF! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! I went as a serious buyer on a truck that was price tagged discounted at 53k. I was willing to pay up to 62k. I qualify for 0 APR and I had 3k as down payment. The first offer they gave me was 72 months over $1,100 a month plus my 3k down payment. That's over 82.2k for a truck advertised at 53k. Should be at most 61k considering sales tax and the document fees they charge. I thought it was ridiculous so I counter offered 84 months at $700 which would be 59k. So the salesman took my offer to the managers and they were at least 5 gentleman in the main office which is a large glass office in the center. They left the door open and they all started laughing so loud that my sister and I felt embarrassed. All we could hear was a guy saying "DUDE DUDE" and a bunch of loud laughter the whole time. We right away felt out of place and in my opinion they are not trying to sell cars but rip people off. They did not even have the courtesy to shut the door. The salesman came back with 84 month at $890 with the 3k down. That's about 78k no where near what a truck priced at 53k should be worth. I have an excellent credit record and have purchased cars at different dealerships. I know they want their money amidst COVID-19 crisis but this is just ridiculous. No wonder they have 15 plus of the same exact truck just sitting in the lot. I feel awful for all the people they have ripped off. Don't go here unless you're willing to pay half the new cars value in fees. This place is ripping people off and somebody needs to get in there and fix it. I hope this is not what GMC stands for. BEWARE!! Horrible experience/Nightmare. The Finance Specialist Marcell Bailey is a scammer. He added a $3,650 extended warranty without my consent. My fault for signing the agreement and not seeing the add on. He stated that, "your vehicle has a warranty" I stated my salesman said that it didn't. He said oh yes it does a 30,000 mile. Dang...wow the vehicle had over 100,000 miles. Next... 5 days later after my discovery of the warranty I contacted the dealership and they transferred me to Kip Gillmore. He stated the warranty could not be removed and that it was a requirement of the finance company. I responded that I would get an attorney to advise me and at that point I was directed to Ron Hughes. Ron stated that he could remove the warranty. Upon hanging up I contacted the finance company they explained the warranty is optional it is not a requirement from them. Next, my financing fell through. I was told to come in to re-sign for a different finance company. Upon arrival Ron demanded that I turn in the key to the vehicle. I explained to him that I had the text messages that Marcel had sent me regarding coming in today to sign the paperwork. He said Marcell was off and that he had just spoken to him and was told that I was returning the vehicle. I asked for an Uber home under the circumstances because I lived 45 miles away, however I was denied. I did agree to return the vehicle after reporting to the police what had transpired. I requested the contract to be canceled infront of the police officer and Ron said, " there is no contract because the finance company did not approve you." I had a friend pick me and my belongings up. 3 hours later I was called by Ron to report that the finance company did approved me. He said "the vehicle is yours if you still want it," I declined on Friday. However, the finance company called me Monday to congratulate me on my new vehicle. The finance company reported that my financing was processed and the funds were sent to the dealership all of this without my knowledge or approval These people are Horrible! Please Please heed my warning. I know that they have over 2,000 reviews I was impressed too, but that was a BIG Mistake. read more

As far as car dealers go, we had a good experience with Hiley. It was not without frustration, but ultimately we felt we got a fair deal on a new truck. The receptionist is rude, the sales manager said to call him...yeah right. The receptionist would not allow us to speak with him. "He's with a customer." Well what exactly am I? Chopped liver? Our salesman also told us a few fibs... The loan guy did get us a good interest rate, and a fair loan. We had to push a little, but it worked out. My husband has had several good experiences with their Service department. One other thing I would say, is that now they are sending me recalls on two subarus that I do not own. The automated system was calling me every day trying to get me to bring in vehicles I do not own. So I had to call them to discuss that. A terrible experience. I feel sorry for the salesman. The SM that was "working" the deal could've cared less about the sale. I provided lots of information about what I needed and why. They told me they were losing money as the deal was structured. Laughable. So I compromised and told them what I would do. Nobody was excited about my offer so I left and bought a vehicle elsewhere. That sale was almost painless. Took just an hour or so. I spent 2 days getting jerked around for no reason. I worked harder at trying to buy the vehicle than they did trying to put a deal together. They insulted me on the price, trade, dealer adds and my request to delete a dealer option. Please consider going elsewhere. All they're interested in is ripping your head off. The salesman was great. Those "supporting" him caused him to lose the sale. Oh and I won't be calling them when someone from the stealership comments about how sorry they are. Signing off. Unprofessional describes it. Management, sales and finacnce department were all a joke. I found a truck for my husband the operator transfers my husband to John. John was a joke from the get go! Somehow the manager convinced my husband to give them a try so I go up there to fill out credit app. I knew I had perfect prime credit and had done my research that GM financial who I have financed with previously was running an offer. I explain this while John is looking at me like I'm crazy that I wanted a prime rate and not to run my credit multiple times. Once offered a joking rate of over 5% I was in shock. The finance dept tried telling me prime rate was 4.25%. Long story short I'm a female and they thought they could screw me over and I would just sign and agree to their lies. Wrong! Came in for a service appointment on my 2020 GMC truck. The service ended up taking over 3 hours. Drove away from the service bay and smoke started shooting from my exhaust. Come to find out the service tech over-filled the oil reservoir. I take my truck to the dealership service team to benefit from expertise dealing with my make and model and to avoid these types of mistakes. I am highly disappointed considering the fact that there have been issues with this dealership service center EVERY time I have taken my truck in for service. Bought a used SRX from Shyne and paid full cash and was told I'd get the second key in the mail within 2/3 days via usps. 3 weeks later no response to voicemail or texts. Called Shawn Legget and he said he'd look into it. Next day 8pm no response, I call to talk to him and he schools me on how he does deals and sometimes there is no second key and talks down to me. My response was that Shyne told me he'd have the second key. He never told me he was trying to get one. My FOB no longer works even with a new battery and I have no use of the car. I called Hiley today and every supervisor or manager was busy or had gone home. Definitely would not recommend buying a car from these crooks! Tale and Adam are 2 great and honest guys. I didn't even buy a truck from them, I had gone in for a service and told it would be ready at a certain time. After 30 minutes they chased my truck through the shop and gave me updates constantly. Throughout this entire time Tale never once asked if I was interested in a vehicle.. we talked the entire time and it was about good restaurants to eat at, asked me about my job etc and carried out a great conversation. AFTER and hour and a half I had received my truck and got it with very low tire pressure and this was right at closing time Tale told me he'd get this issues fixed. WORST Dealership I've EVER dealt with. Extremely Unprofessional, Unresponsive and Lied to me. I made a deal for a car on Thursday May 26th after 2 weeks of trying because they were extremely unresponsive. I needed to sign papers and was told the papers were in the mail Thursday, I'd have them Saturday. Saturday was told I'd have them Tuesday. Tuesday they dodged my calls all day and I left 5 messages. Wednesday they dodged my calls all day again. Wednesday night after 2 days of completely ignoring me. I get 1 text message from my sales rep Arvin Proctor (DO NOT WORK WITH HIM he's the worst). All it said was..."The car was sold by another salesperson on Memorial Day." Which was 4 days later from when we made our deal. So why didn't you answer for 2 days???? They Gave me 0 explanation as to why they were dodging my calls for 3 days and lying to me about the paperwork being in the mail multiple times. Now I just wasted over 3 weeks of my time and they left me hanging as I already sold my other vehicle thinking this deal was done. They don't care about the customer and have O Integrity when making deals plus they are disrespectful. They play a game with you as a customer and will hold the car, lie, postpone and try to leverage the car elsewhere for a quick buck. SCUM. Don't even bother with them especially Arvin. read more

Have to say the service center needs to take a look under its own hood. This all starts because my A/C in my 2014 GMC Sierra goes out. Which in Texas is a huge deal. Made an appointment for 9:15 am Friday was told I would receive a phone call once they diagnosed the issue. I expect to wait a few hours for a call but end up waiting till 6pm for an update. Where I am told they don't know if it wasn't s covered by warranty yet but they do have the part in stock. I ask if he can tell me if it's covered before we start work but that takes another hour for him to confirm. Frustrated and angry that it took this long I ask Justin one more time how long will it take to fix this. He reassures me this discharge hose is very easy to fix and should be done quickly. Day two begins. I give them plenty of time in the morning to finish before I call at 11am to get an update. Figure with it being easy it should be done that morning. When I call I get a different service guy but his name is Justin too. He pulls my paper work tells me they are working on it and he will call me in an hour with an update. I wait for Justin to call me and it never happens. I have to call him and this is where it all falls apart. Justin proceeds to tell me they have not started work on my truck and that he is not sure it will be done on Saturday. I lose it at this point and started yelling and letting him know how dissatisfied I am with the level of service so far. I ask to speak to a manager and he proceeds to put me on hold. I wait about five minutes before he picks back up. He then tells me he is mistaken and that my truck is out for a test drive to verify it is fixed. Now as I am happy to hear this I am still pissed because every other update was him just giving me the run around. If the level of service I can expect is someone blowing smoke every time I call in. I will find somewhere else to go. This trip to Hiley has put a certain lack of trust in how they do business. read more

He said that he "got in trouble" and "didn't understand the issue". I was completely disturbed, shocked and a bit in awe by this behavior is exhibited by the one touch point of the customer between vehicle purchases. Fortunately, this situation was diffused after requesting to speak to the Jerry, Service Department manager, who listened, offered an apology, and suggested to transfer me to a new associate. He introduced me to Kipp who instantly jumped at the opportunity to listen and better my experience. This review is based on multiple visits over the past two years including the past month. I advise anyone that is considering taking their vehicle here to check with other dealers and service shops also on service prices. I know they just went thru another management change and the manager that left was making some good changes, Unfortunately the service department has been a mess for a long time. I have a GMC Terrain and originally took my vehicle to Hiley for some engine issues so according to GMC policy I had to continue have them do work on the vehicle since they did the original work. The terrain's had multiple engine recalls. I asked them to complete these and was lied to over and over. Had one point my car sat in the dealership for 59 days while they were telling me they were getting GMC corporate involved to try to fix my vehicle. I found out eventually that was untrue and my vehicle was never touched. It was a continuous battle to get anything done. You could call repeatedly and no one would answer the phones or return your calls. After having my vehicle for 155 days over a year and half period and not getting the problem resolved, I started going straight to GMC corporate and also contacted an attorney. I was eventually given a new engine by GMC due to the struggle I had been thru with this dealership. My advice to anyone is to be careful doing any type of business with Hiley dealerships. read more

I applied online a guy by the name of Brandon call me back to back in a row at least 4 times. At that time it was fine because I was looking to get a car here. So I made an appointment met Brandon and all down hill from there. I felt like just another number. I didn't feel he was interested in getting me into a vehicle I wanted. I have a 2012 Impala and he kept trying to offer me 2013 Ford ummm no! Well it was on a Saturday when I went in so I could not get an auto approval which was fine I know my credit isn't the best. Ok we are at Monday, I texted and emailed Brandon a few times as he said they were going to contact the banks Monday. Well he never returned anything yet before I came he was prompt and answering the emails. So then John calls me. Ok thinking maybe Brandon was busy. He said Brandon was transferred, well ok. Now this guy John seemed like he didn't have any of my info at all. Asking me all the questions all over from the start. It boils down to I was not approved at their lot. Oh that's fine. I was approved elsewhere. My issue is the whole experience felt non personal. As a car salesman your customers should not feel like you are not interested in selling them a car, no matter what their credit is like you should never make them feel any less. GREAT SERVICE!!! After going through so much aggravation with car dealerships, this place wound up being like an oasis. I found a car that I HAD to have, traveled 50 minutes to see it; and started my paperwork the same night! It started with contact from Cade, the internet sales manager. When I arrived, he made sure the car was in a customer parking spot, waiting for me to test drive it. He then connected me to Troy, who gladly put gas in the car (which was on E). That meant something because another dealership acted like it took an act of congress to put a couple of dollars of gas in it. Troy was very knowledgeable about the car and we looked at the vehicle history report together. Best of all, he didn't stress me out about having my own financing!!! Imagine that! He asked me to fill out a credit application and was very polite when I declined. He wasn't a jerk like almost all of the salespeople I dealt with. Troy saw a couple of things wrong with the body. He volunteered to correct one issue and didn't put up a fuss when I asked him about correcting another issue. Then I got to the finance guy, John Cantu. He is a VERY nice guy who was most accommodating when I thought I saw a discrepancy in the numbers. Sitting there, late at night, he patiently went over the numbers, allowing me to see that the price was, in fact, calculated correctly. Once again, he could have been a jerk about my asking to go over the numbers about five times; but he wasn't! He was patient, delivering prime customer service. Most of all, as I used my own financing, he wasn't the least bit jerky about it. I walked away more satisfied than I have ever been with a car-buying experience. Today I called to see if this dealership had a used car for my son and Antonio answered the phone. I told him what I was looking for and he searched his inventory. He told me he had just got a car on a trade in but it was a little bit more than I said I wanted to pay. It was "ten five" he said. My budget was $10K plus tt&l but he said "but we're here to make a deal". He told me more about the car and I got excited. Our budget was $10,000. So we drove there to check it out....We spent an hour and 20 minutes there, approximately. It was close to closing. We go in to sit down, ready to make a deal, cash purchase, but all of a sudden he puts a paper on the table and says "my manager just printed this" and on the paper the car price was higher than he said on the phone!! It was NOT "TEN FIVE"The whole thing was a big lie! Do not trust this dealership! They'll rope you in to get you there and then switch what they say! They do not have integrity and are untrustworthy. Take your business somewhere else! No one, not even the manager, came over to see what was going on.
