We were visiting from Kansas City and asked a boat guide on Caddo Lake where to have breakfast and he said here, this is where us locals eat. First the food was tremendous, but that wasn't half of it. Five other tables were occupied with locals. Very quickly we knew we weren't by ourselves and were part of their group. BLUF: Great food, friendly staff, clean restaurant, truck parking for a large semi. I am reluctant to let the secret out, but I feel it's necessary for the greater good of humanity...and their business. I am an over-the-road trucker and struggle to find parking if it's after 7:00 PM. I found this using one of my trucking apps as a potential parking location that accepts overnight parking. I got here and found a large parking area, easy to pull into, and not another semi in sight. I woke up to an open restaurant with a few customers inside. Upon entering, a friendly woman welcomed me into a meticulously clean diner. Pictured is a loaded omelet with ham, Hashbrowns, and coffee. Stop here if you are passing through. Hill's is a must try if you are in the area! This family-owned restaurant has a simple menu that still catered to everyone in my group. The entire process is run by a very kind staff. At one point, the owner pulled up a chair and chatted with us for a few minutes. If you stop by you need to get here early! The pie and banana pudding sell out quickly. read more

I cannot rate the food, only the unwelcoming vibe from the female manager. She makes unwarranted remarks about my sister's shirt being tucked in from the back which is a pretty strange comment from the beginning but maybe she was providing entertainment for the two older guys sitting at a cleared table. We were 40 minutes past the breakfast time and we were looking for a good omelette. The cook and young waitress were very nice and friendly. The cook looked disappointed that she would be unable to fix our food. Oh..did I mention that there were no other customers in the place??.....besides the 2 guys?? Their business must be doing fabulous to turn away paying customers because they were 40 minutes late for the breakfast time. We had read very good reviews on Yelp. Home of one of the best burgers in Harrison and Marion counties. This is no pre-fab burger. It's made from fresh ground beef and served on a toasted, buttery bun. Service was fast and friendly. Limited fountain drinks, but there're plenty of bottled drinks in the store coolers. This place would get five stars, if they had fresh-cut French fries to go with the burger. The frozen ones are ok, but this burger deserves better. read more

Great service and great food. Friendly staff and plenty of motorcycle parking. It will be a regular stop anytime I'm in the area.

This was a good lunch. We have eaten here at least 3 other times under 3 different names....... This is the best overall. We had a Bacon Cheeseburger, freshly made, and very good. A lot of bacon and a good meat patty. Krinkly fries were good. We topped it off with a Polish Sausage....it was okay. The interior has been remodeled since last we were here and is about double in size. Friendly service. Overall, a good lunch option. read more

This is a great place for breakfast and lunch. You gotta try the Aunt B's breakfast! Start out with homemade biscuit on bottom, top with bacon and sausage, top that with egg cooked the way you like it, hashbrowns on top of that and then smothered in gravy. On Tuesday and Wednesday, they have Bar B Q for lunch, brisket, pork, chicken and ribs that fall off the bone. Friday night is fish night. Bonita Hill has created a true old time Texas Cafe, from food to interior decor. Ginger Tatum can turn out some Damn good vittles from Breakfast to Hamburgers as well as some killer pies that are reasonably priced. The folks that work there are polite courteous and attentive.
