Lincoln told me I needed a wheel alignment so I asked around to see who had a good price & was told to check them out. I called on a Friday & spoke with Mike who was very informative & friendly over the phone. He explained that on Saturdays they work 8-12 & it's on a 1st come 1st serve basis & people line up at 6am. WOWZERS!!!!! I decided it wasn't that serious & went at 730. I was # 4. That was cool with me. I left to go eat breakfast & by the time I got done eating they were calling me to pick my car back up. I've used Hillside Alignment for years and I've always been highly impressed with their quality work and their very reasonable prices. In fact their rate for front end alignment is ridiculously low. It speaks a lot about this place that no one's written a Yelp review on them. They are no-nonsense, they serve the neighborhood, they don't charge an arm and a leg, and they really know what they are doing. The shop is off the beaten path and the guys are down to earth and no BS. The clientele is not a "yelper" crowd, but that's perfectly fine. They have a first come first serve policy on Saturday morning. I decided to try to get a front end alignment and I got there 10 minutes before when they open at 8 am. There were five guys ahead of me in a line of cars. Next time I needed alignment for my wife's car I got up at 7, got there at 7:30, and I was still third in line. Finally the last time I went I got up at 6:30 and got there at 7 am (on Saturday morning!), and I was first in line this time! I think all of us waiting for a front end alignment before the shop opens on a cold, dark Saturday morning at 7:15 are a little nuts...but it speaks to how loyal their customers are. Honestly a good 4.5-5 star shop. If you have a suspension, brake or alignment problem Mike will diagnose and repair it correctly. A good honest repair shop they will give you a quote & use top quality parts. Not always the cheapest but sometimes you get what you pay for in life. A++ read more

Almost they killed me and discriminated for being Latino. take my truck ford f250 because although driving straight on the road, had a sound when making turns. I called the next day and they said they had to change some parts and that would cost me $350,oo including change ball joint & bushing and the alignment; my deposit was $200,oo; back to leave the warehouse and when I called to pick up the truck I asked Mike to let me drive, and there began yelling. Became hysterical, he said that he had 30 years of experience to allow someone to test the car first and pay later. I insisted and he gave me the key and the sound still it!!!!!. Mike really angry admitted me that he never handling the truck and that not reviewed but his employee yes; and i said :means you charge for something that was not the problem? ..... where are your 30 years of experience? ??? He told me to leave the truck, then he call me the next day I went to remove the truck on Friday 07/31/15 and told me that sound was for a loose bolts !!!! , I confirm that he collect for damage that did not exist, but I already had an appointment with the body painter, so I paid the balance and I shook his hands and he offer me I had a one year warranty. Take the road, as I realized that the steering wheel is tilted to the left and the truck was to the right. My truck was painted and was under roof. Back to Mike on Tuesday 8/11/15 and he offer check what is wrong....the appointment was for 8/17/15 ,. this location is next door to a McDonalds, I told him that i would wait there. After 5 minutes Mike enters to Mcdonalds really angry and tells me my truck painter harm my truck !!!! I told him impossible; he became hysterical and he went to throw the truck in front of McDonald's main door regardless the customers and that it is not his business!!! he said I was a liar, that somewhere had damaged my truck , I told him you treat me because I'm Latino, He throw the keys to the floor in front of everyone and told me not to return to his workshop. I called the local police and the officer Brown confirmed with the mcdonalds employees that mike made, other officer tryng to contact him at the shop but he is not there, the police only told me i need seek legal help but they appreciate I didn't act similar to mike. I went right away to a place with true specialists of alignment and they explain me that the truck was never aligned, everything was so loose and because that the pieces are twisted and I was about to stay with the steering wheel in hand and have an accident. I paid for his fault and negligence another $1210,oo in replace the new damages, real alignment and finally the sound its gone and the truck ride straight again. read more

If I could give negative stars I would! If you need any type of work done and you need to come here, you might as well donate your money to the homeless! The owner mike is an asshole and when he f's up he makes it seem like it's your fault, especially after you've paid him. And the 2 guys working for him are just like mike. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! Smh the 40 bucks they charge to look at your car does not go to the work if you choose them to do the work although he says it does. I got recommend by George's to this place. When I walked in mike was going off on a customer about the 40 bucks smh I knew something was wrong right then. But because George's is actually a really great place I used hillside anyway. My mistake!! You don't see anything on the receipt about them removing 40 bucks but all the other charges are there! I chose hillside wheel alignment to do the work and they f'd me. I have a gt mustang and my steering wheel was shaking. Got the 40 dollar diagnostic and he said I needed a ball joint on 1 side. Ok do it, I said. They called me back the next day and said I needed another ball joint for the other side, which was another $125 bucks! I said do it. They call me when their about to close and tell me they got the wrong ball joints and they called all their resources to find the right one but they all were closed! I stressed I would not be able to get to work the next day and they called me back in 20mins and told me my car was done!?!?!??!?! WTF!!!! Did superman drop the ball joints off!?!?! I got my car back and now still shaking. I call back up there and mike tells me it's something different now and I need to bring it back up there for them to check it! These people are stealing money from the community that supports them! Please do not go to hillside wheel alignment!!! careful. this place is a scam. i put down a deposit for a 1994 mercury sable that needed a new intake valve. i put down a 10 percent deposit. nowhere in the office does it say it doesnt issure refunds. even on my reciept. when i decided not to do business with them, not only did they not refund me, but they started to mock me. i intend on going to the attorney general with this out of principle. i would highly recommend to anybody not to support this joke of a mechanic. read more
