After going to 3 places for an estimate, I was impressed by the thoroughness and keen eye from Kimberly. Since I was not using my insurance to pay for repairs I was looking for the cheapest place. Kim's estimate was actually the most expensive, but for very good reason. She found damages that the other shops did not find. She actually took the time to get on the ground in her nice clothing to look underneath my bumper. She took photos to show me the damages she was seeing underneath my car so that I wouldn't have to get on the ground to see it. It is kind of funny, because people always say that women aren't car savy, however, she found damages that the other two shops didn't find and those were men who wrote my other estimates. I was so grateful that she took the time to make sure and find everything she could up front so that I wouldn't be shocked at the end when the bill went way up. She was honest in letting me know that there would probably be more damage than what she could see with the bumper still on my car. At that point I didn't even care that her estimate was more expensive than the others, I just wanted my car fixed properly. Right then I knew that the only way to ensure my car was fixed right was to schedule my repairs with Kimberly. Through the entire process she was great. My car was in the shop for a couple of weeks, but she called me frequently to let me know how things were going. She was always very upbeat and happy to talk to me. The thing that stood out to me the most about her was how genuine she was. She NEVER acted like a salesperson. She didn't ever talk to me like I was stupid because I didn't know much about cars. She was so patient and kind to me that I felt so comfortable with her. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I have already told many people about Kimberly and my terrific experience with her. It is because of her my car "Betsey" is beautiful and whole again. I had to write in a comment on here because my Mother and Father brought their car here after their accident. Neither of them are from the U.S. so they have broken English and a thick Korean accent. Most places they go people are pretty impatient and rude with them because they don't speak the best of English. Three weeks ago my parents were in an accident. They brought their car into Hinshaw's Auto Body and they were helped by Kimberly. From the minute Kimberly began helping my parents she was extremely kind and patient with them. My Mother and Father expressed that not once did Kimberly act impatient or rushed. She was so kind to them and it meant so much. Even their insurance company was rude over the phone but Kimberly made a difference and made their experience much better because of the treatment she gave to them. My parents are very grateful to Kimberly and will return if they ever have another accident. I hope that Kimberly knows how much it means to them that she treated them with so much respect and kindness. She was always very professional and informative. They didn't know a thing going into this. She helped guide them from point A - Z. My parents feel that they would not have gotten the same results with anyone else. This is going to sound a little crazy, but I went into Hinshaws after my accident and was a mess. I have a lot going on in my life right now, and it must show. Kimberly helped me and was kind enough to ask if I was ok. I ended up telling her all my life problems that I am dealing with right now. I have to say Kimberly was such a good listener, but more importantly she gave me some great words of wisdom. I felt so good when I left there. It meant so much to me that Kimberly was so empathetic and caring. I mean, she sat there and spoke with me for at least a half an hour. I know she was so busy, but she didn't once make me feel like I was an inconvenience. I cried my whole way home, because the conversation we had was so heartwarming. She opened up to me about what she has been through and she really gave me the courage I needed to get thru this tough time. I know this has nothing to do with my car being repaired, but customer service goes a long ways. This was absolutely the greatest customer service experience I have ever had. My car is in their shop now being repaired and Kimberly has really been great about everything. We have taken our cars to HInshaws before, and we have always been happy. But this has been the best experience. I hope she knows what an impact she had not only on one of the worst days of my life, but on my life as well. I went around to 3 body shop places for estimates on my Honda. I wasn't expecting the damage to cost so much, so I most likely won't get my car fixed for a while. But I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and expertise I received at Hinshaws. I was helped by Kimberly and she was fantastic. She was so helpful, whereas the other shops didn't want to waste their time on me knowing that I wouldnt be able to afford the repairs for a while. I don't appreciate going into a business and being rushed out the door feeling unsatisfied. Kimberly took the time to go over the ENTIRE estimate and the process with me. She took the time to explain to me why my estimate cost as much as it did and explained how they would be repairing it. I really can't express just how much I appreciate how helpful Kimberly was and how patient she was with me. I know she was extremely busy when I was there, but she still sat with me for about 15 minutes and answered all my silly questions and not once did she make me feel rushed. I felt so much better when I walked out of Hinshaws than I did when I walked out of the other 2 places. I wanted to pay her for the estimate (the other place charged me) but she said absolutely not. My wife mostly dealt with the shop, but she can't stop raving about her experience there. I dealt with them a little, but not quite as much as my wife did. We both couldn't believe the level of service we received from Kimberly. My wife especially is over the moon about Kimberly. She received a call almost daily from Kimberly, and when there was an issue with our second claim, Kimberly was all over it. The insurance company really tried to hand it to us, but Kimberly would not have ANY of it. She was right there to back us up and help guide us. We really didn't have to do anything, because Kimberly took care of everything for us. She is a very kind and bright young lady. And she is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to car repairs and the claims process, and more importantly - customer service! We truly could NOT be any happier with our experience. We have never, ever, in our 50 years experienced the type of service and care we received at Hinshaws from Kimberly. We have had our car fixed here before and have always been happy, but this is the first time we dealt with Kimberly, and she most definitely left a lasting impression on my family. The insurance company said my car repairs are more expensive than my car so it is not fixable. But the reason I write in is because Kimberley was so kind she help me know how to handle this. She spend many times with me on phone helping me because I know nothing how to handle this situation. She taught me what to do and held my hand through the all this stuff. She even call me when the insurance guy totaled my car and she make sure I am ok and have no questions. I tell her I want to talk to her boss because I hope he know what a fantastic girl she is. She tell me I can leave a message here and he will see. She did not have to spend so much time to help me but she did. She really did. And she was always very happy to do it. She is a very valuable at that company. I wish my car can be fixed because I want her to make money but she didn't even care about money she just care that I am ok and understand. I had a wonderful experience at Hinshaw's Auto Body! My car got into an accident where it went into a very thick branched bush and completely dented the front of my car, the hood, and the driver's door! It was so sad since I had my car for 3 years with no issues! I was so stressed but I called Hinshaw's and they walked me through everything and made sure I was very informed! Craig was my insurance adjuster and the only contact I had there and he was amazing! Made me feel at ease, quoted me, and helped me get the ball rolling. He said it would take 5 days and called me a little early to let me know my car was ready and I could pick it up early if I wanted to so I did! My car looked amazing and feels brand new!!! So thankful for the customer service being what it was and how friendly their support staff was! Customer service is also so important to me. We dropped the car off the morning we went on vacation to Disneyland and when got called as we were on our way home from the airport saying our car was ready and when we got there, everyone asked about our trip because they remembered we had gone to Disneyland! I went and picked up my car yesterday and it looks better than it did when it was brand new. I am amazed at what they did to my car. They even washed it for me before I picked it up and vaccumed it. There was a couple delays from the insurance company, but everything that Hinshaws did was outstanding, to say the least I really have to give a shout out to the estimator Kimberly, because she made all this happen. Allstate really tried to hand it to me, but Kimberly helped me through the process and made sure everything was paid for that needed to be. I could not have gotten thru this without her assistance. Kimberly even called me today to make sure I was good - and that goes a long ways. Even when I had issues with Enterprise, Kimberly was there to assist me. I have to admit I was shocked when I walked into Hinshaws and found out that my estimator was a female, but I am extremely grateful that I had a strong female to help get me through this. I am very pleased with the professional service at Hinshaw's Auto Body! The staff is courteous, responsive to questions, respectful and thorough in evaluating the car's damage with photos and documentation. My wait time was very brief at both drop-off and pick-up times. The waiting area is clean, attractive and hospitable - coffee included. An Enterprise rental car rep met me at Hinshaw's on my arrival, as they were called ahead of time. Craig prepared a very thorough report of auto damage and proposed repairs. The report was carefully explained to me by another staff member. I received a call during the week apprising me of damage to the undercarriage which could not be observed in the initial appraisal - I appreciated the update. When I arrived today to pick up my car at 11:30 am., I was greeted by name by two staff members. I was escorted to my '09 Camry, which now looks as good as new! My parked car had been hit and damaged on snowy Christmas Eve, '17. Hinshaw's staff relieved my anxiety, put my mind as ease, and did an excellent repair job on my Toyota. I had my car fixed last month at Hinshaws and it looks wonderful! You can't tell I was ever in an accident. I had my car fixed at hinshaws auto and it looks even better now than it did before my accident. The other persons insurance tried to really screw me but Kim played a big role in making sure my repairs were paid for. I went into Hinshaws with a bad attitude and bitter because I was expecting this whole process to really suck, since the insurance company was trying to argue with me, but Kim was so friendly and helpful and knowledgable that I quickly realized that she was there to help ME! I am extremely pleased with the repairs and especially with the service I received from Kim. This is the second time I have used Hinshaw's to fix a vehicle. A few years ago I was sideswiped and brought my car in and was really happy with the work and service, so when my truck was hit in a parking lot and I needed a new bumper, I chose to go to Hinshaw's again. Adrienne Rutherford was my service estimator both times and was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Adrienne kept me informed of the process and updated me on how the work was going both times. My truck is an older model so the first bumper ordered didn't fit right. Adrienne ordered a second, different bumper to ensure it would work on my truck, which it did. The truck looks great, and I appreciated the extra effort to find the right bumper, I know a lot of other body shops probably wouldn't have given that extra effort and would have just used the first bumper thinking it was good enough. Read a lot of negative reviews here and some are older. My dad had his Prius repaired here and had a five star experience in 2013. I just had my own 5 star experience. I found that they went the extra mile for me in dealing with the insurance company for the gentlemen that caused our accident. I dropped our 2015 Ram 1500 off on Tuesday 8/8 and Craig called that afternoon after they dug into the rest of the damage behind the obvious surface damage. Communication was precise and clear with an anticipated completion the following week with an outside chance of a Friday afternoon completion. I was pleasantly surprised by a call Friday at 4:40 from Tom who informed me the truck was complete and even though they close at 5 he would wait till I got there. They insisted I come and to just drop the rental car and they would take care of it. Truck looks great and I am beyond satisfied. Thanks for exceeding my expectations. Great experience! I had been your customer in the past but more recently, some months ago, I had a need for a small repair that I needed to take care of and knew I could count on you! Of course with the Seattle rain comes HORRIBLE Seattle drivers! I got into an accident yesterday on I-5 on my way home from work courtesy of a careless teen texting while driving. As you can imagine, standing outside on the side of the road with a newly hit car being poured on was not an ideal situation. The only bright spot was that my friend had recommended I go down to Auburn and entrust my car to Hinshaw's Auto Body. Upon arriving, I was met by a super courteous staff who was eager to help and fix this bad situation. Hinshaw's Honda Auto Body was the Greastest experience I've ever had, in getting car repairs done!! I have dealt with them twice! Both times, I couldn't have been happier!! This last time, I had been in an accident....Craig Sheets....who I believe is the Manager, went over the top for me!! Not only did he stay past his quitting time of 5pm I believe it was....but had a loaner car all ready for me when I arrived with my banged up 09 Camry Hybrid!! This is as good as it gets when it comes to the car repair business. Recently, on three separate occasions, I had to bring in my vehicles for repairs. All within a span of one month. Needless to say I felt embarrassed after the 2nd and 3rd time, but the staff was courteous and professional. They made me feel at ease with each time and assured me everything will be taken cared of. Picked up my truck a couple weeks ago and it looks awesome. I am very impressed with how well they did. I was also very impressed with Kimberly. She did my estimate and helped me thru the entire repair from start to finish. She was more than helpful and always went above and beyond my expectations.
