I had the worst experience with a very rude woman! I think she is the owner! I asked to have manicure and get the French gel color. While she was doing my nails she noticed the nail polish was very bumpy on my nails and she got mad at me saying if I washed my hand with soup when she asked me to just used water. I said no I only used water which is true. Then she had to take the nail polish off and do it all over again while she kept complaining about it saying se will do it again but that was the last time she will do it. Then the nail polish was all blemished again!! She took it off again and kept saying lots of mean things like it was my fault. I told her may be is the nail polish and may be need it to trowed away and may be use another one. She got all nasty and said no!! I am not going to do it any more! If you want I can do something different. I said no!! I want the French style. Then i said never mind and she said well you have to pay me!! I only paid for the manicure which it was done really bat too! She only cut the cuticle nothing else was done. It was a very bad experience at this place and never going back again. My daughter and I came in to get a full set of acrylic tips today. My daughter wanted hers square/rounded with a cute glitter polish. It came out so cute! So when it came time for mine, I was pretty confident that they were going to so a decent job. I'm very particular with my nails, so I never expect them to look perfect, because I will always go home and reshape and file until they are what I want. I just let her do it. Other customers came in so the nail tech was bouncing around between me, my daughter, a 3 girls getting pedicures. Though she was fast, she was super sloppy and preoccupied. I wanted my nails to be almond shaped and she kept saying, okay so rounded? And I would correct her and say, well kind of, but more almond shaped. Well by the time she was done, I don't know what shape they were. They were all over the place! I had polish all on my cuticles, acetone stains on my fingers and swirls in the polish. It was by far the worst full set I had ever received! And to top it off, she let my polish dry before she put on the top coat so she can work on her pedicure client. After she took her other clients polish off, she came and put the top coat on mine. She didn't even wash her hands after having them on someone else's feet before she touched my hands! Okay I've definitely reviewed this place before, must have gotten deleted. Today was my absolute last time coming here, this place is the closest to my home so when I need something fast I come here. In the past I used to come here for a pedi like every 2 weeks. Basically what I'm saying is I've come here a lot and given them tons of business over the last 5 years, and I already knew that out of all the salons I go to, this is the lower quality and customer service level. I was okay with putting up with that considering the distance and convenience. Today I decided I will never come back here. I asked to just get gel color cuz my nails were damaged and breaking, so no mani just color. I picked a frosty opal that looked really opaque on the sample nail. I just assumed this tech would put enough coats or a base color to make it look nice. But after the 3rd coat you can still see my damaged nails underneath, just a bad look. In my mind I had already decided this doesn't look good and I guess they're no point in changing, but I did ask "you don't put a base color? You can still see my nails and it doesn't look as neat" the tech immediately went to defensive mode, and she got up in her chair, starting shouting at me that it's not her fault, I picked this color. I was shocked at how she responded to me, and was basically insulting me while I sat here. I said that can't we just change it (I would have paid) and she said if it was one nail sure but all of it it's too much and I should have told her before. Again I told her I had trusted she'd know how to make it look nice and waited for the 3rd coat to go on so I can see if it will look better. She again started yelling that the sample nail doesn't have a base color so I wouldn't be getting one either and that's how it should look if I don't like it it's not her fault. She started to slam and throw things around on the table as if she was going to change my color, but this was really disrespectful. I immediately just said to finish off the nails so I can go. Despite the fact that I didn't like how it looked, I never demanded her to change the nails or not charge me or anything like that. I can't understand her reaction at my asking her a question. I work in customer service management for years, so I never raise my voice and be polite to others who work in that world. I spoke quietly and just to her. So I know that I was not instigating this in any way. The way she was gesturing and shouting was so insulting in front of the other customers. Imagine sitting there to finish off your nails after all that. I went to pay and quietly told her that she shouldn't shout at her customers, it made me very uncomfortable. Guess what she did, turned away from me to count the bills I had handed her. I was shocked, I said keep the change and left. I'm pretty sure language barrier and culture played a part in this. She might think it's ok to defend her salon and do so animatedly, but incidentally I don't appreciate that. Absolutely never coming here again. read more

What a great little surprise this place was. So, In need again of getting the good o'l nails did, I just happened to stumble by this place. I really admire the interior of the salon. The interior decor was tasteful, classy and appeared to be exceptionally clean. I was also greeted and helped by an extremely friendly lady. I said I was in for a Shelac mani and a pedi. Her and another girl who was not as friendly did my nails. The only disappointment that lead me to not get a Shelac mani, was the poor color choices they had : ( mostly light pastel like colors no bold burgundy dark red or bold colors. So, I ended up just getting a reg mani with no color. They did a really good job. Typical prices for Livermore definitely not cheap, but decent. Friendly service and nice clean environment. Okay. So, I love pedicures, but I'm not exactly the "I have to have a pedicure/manicure to live" type. Pedicures are amazing and they make my feet look amazing. But, I'm also an East Coaster, so the abundance of nails salons in California sometimes, well, frightens me. And, I wear work boots all day. Oh yea, and I am pretty poor, too. So, I'm not expert at salons of this variety. However, I needed to get my nails done (gels because I am a biter) and my toenails for my cousins wedding. So, I went on Yelp, read the review posted before August and thought, well, what the hey. I'll go here. Here begins the story. I BROUGHT my wedding dress with me so that I could match colors. The dress was mostly black with a nice dark aquamarine accent. I was a little bummed that I couldn't find a good match...their colors seemed picked over. So, I sat down to begin my pedicure (yay) and asked the woman to paint my toenails black with a green and white flower on the big toe. Concurrently, the woman began working on my nails. I told her I wanted normal tips and I wanted the whole nail painted black. I told her like twelve times. Somewhere lost in translation, she put on black tips. I told her no, but she didn't listen and had her friend doing the pedicure to tell me it wouldn't matter. In my inexperience, I regrettably agreed. The toes looked great, but when it came to painting my nails which they had assured me it would be fine to paint over, the woman threw a fit and told me I had asked for the wrong thing. I would have given her a piece of my mind and gotten up and left at this point, but my nails were talon length. Shoot. Stranded. So, she painted them. I told her I didn't want them completely black, I wanted a little something to break them up, so they weren't morbid looking! (This was for a wedding, afterall!) She started laughing with the other girls in the shop and reluctantly drew small green and white flowers on my nails. I thought they looked out, she told me, point blank, that they looked tacky. (My family liked them, as I was asking them because I was obviously wondering after this!) I paid, and tipped well, and left, never to return. My nails are still beat up from the fakes. I know it was my own fault for not speaking up, but, they shouldn't have ganged up on me, then barked at me for doing the wrong thing. And toboot, I felt like they were talking crap about me the whole time in Vietnamese. So, if you speak vietnamese or know a lot about manicures, go here, they seemed to be reasonably priced. But, if you're a simple person to please and you like to be listened to, then don't go here. It's times like these that I feel lost in California. Ha. read more

The shellac application was fine tho, she made sure the color showed up well and didn't make it messy looking. Overall, it was just okay for me. Late review from Oct 2019- This is the worst salon I think I've ever been to. I was in a hurry to get everything done for a wedding I was in, as a bridesmaid. I read the reviews and was wary, but I was out of time. The lady who did my nails was rude and seemed irritated. She was rough and literally spent 10 minutes TOPS on my manicure, and it was gel. They didn't do the cuticles at all, and the gel was uneven and chipped the next day. The pedicure was not AS bad, but hardly any work done. I also had gel on my toes that chipped. My nails weren't filed well and kept catching on my dress. They almost rushed me out the door and it isn't cheap. I didn't feel like I should even pay for what I got, but I did and will never return. Pros: Seems clean and sanitary, nice staff, fast, no wait most of the time Cons: Rough with cuticle trims (I've been twice and held my breath the whole time they were pulling and trimming me...), VERY limited color selection of Shellac, limited "nice" brands of regular polish (a few bottles of OPI, no essie...everything else looks like random drugstore polish). Went today for the second time and they had 3 people work on my Shellac mani. One filed my nails, then trimmed my cuticles on one hand. Then someone else came over, trimmed my other hand and then I sat and waited for 10 minutes for ANOTHER girl to come over and polish me. It was odd. I wish they'd be more careful trimming cuticles so it wasnt so scary and offered more Shellac colors. I live nearby and it's an ok place in a pinch. Probably wouldnt give up my regular salon for them thought anytime soon. read more

This place was completely empty (which normally would scare me away, but I'm glad I stayed) for $45 I got a massage (one of the best pedi massages AND an arm massages ever at a nail place) the woman were quick but not rushed-quick. Super thorough pedi and a really natural fill, not too chunky. I will drive all the way out here to go here again. Worth every penny. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I came in asking for one toe nail to be fixed with a color touch up and a manicure. The first technician rushed on my toe, it looked bad and complained repeatedly that it took a long time for one nail. The second nail technician was the worst! She cut corners off my nails instead of just filing them and cut my cuticles multiple times. She didn't even bother to trim the lower cuticles on the bottom of my nails and got polish all over them. I asked her to fix it multiple times and she made the same mistake on my next hand. Prior to working on my next hand, she squirted a bunch of oil on my arm and did one quick swipe and moved on. Not even sure if she was attempting a massage or what. I'm not sure if it was a language barrier but I finally got frustrated and told her it looked horrible as if I had painted them myself. She then became aggressive and rushed me over the the table next to the other technician and aggressively removed my nail polish while continuing to cut my cuticles painfully and said if you don't like it she can do it. If I wasn't in a rush and headed out of town I wouldve left. The first technician did a good job fixing my nails but complained repeatedly to the woman next to me with an appointment as if it was my fault! I ended up being here for over two hours for a simple gel manicure with no tips. I will never come Here again. Multiple fingers are throbbing in pain from my cuticles cuts and hangnails read more

Woah this place is crap. If you want your nails filled off, the possible chance of them hurting your hand, and a cold place to sit then you've found the joint. After saying ouch about four times and a horrible file job later, all I heard was sorry a hand full of times. Clipped the corners of my nails so I've been dealing with nothing but hang nails for the majority of the day all the while the high of the weather today was 51 degrees and the back door was wide open. Despite these old reviews, I had a friend that recommended this place to me so I thought I would give it a try. I went there yesterday (a Sunday) which was a plus because many places aren't open Sundays. I got a pedicure and a acrylic fill. The lady that did my fill was great- they look fantastic. She was very anal and a perfectionist which I appreciated. I also enjoyed the pedicure although I don't think she put a top coat on.
